First impression was a good one. The place is open, bright and clean. It was very busy but not a bad wait. We ordered two drinks. The large was actually smaller than I thought it would be. I wish there were more popping bubble flavors. Nonetheless, both drinks were good. I recommend giving them a try. This will be a new local staple for my family and I.

Let's be realistic here. Not all Kung Fu Teas are created equal. Similar to other franchises, one location may reign superior over another, offering wildly different standards between establishments. I'm happy to report that this Kung Fu Tea seems built to last as superior over others! We were invited to Kung Fu Tea's soft opening, and it was a great time. The new space looks very open with lots of space to chill and hang out. There's still some potential to add some lounge-type furniture (maybe some board games) but otherwise they've got all the necessities to get the ball rolling with seats to enjoy your boba if that's your vibe. It was a very busy day too, including some people who had never tried bubble tea before. The employees were incredibly responsive and willing to offer suggestions for those who were new to the bubble tea experience. I was impressed with how well they were balancing taking orders and talking to the customers. The drinks themselves were all made fantastically. For me, you have to evaluate any boba by their original milk tea, and it definitely met the mark. The tapioca was a great consistency. The ratio of tapioca to tea was perfect. The milk tea had a great flavor. This Kung Fu Tea is a great addition to the Middlebelt/Plymouth corridor. Definitely expecting more great things.

Sweeter than typical boba but still good. Service was fast and they were patient to explain everything. It's a nice clean space- perfect for getting some work done

The store is pretty big for a boba shop. The vibes are cool in there & it's a good spot to do work on your laptop. I ordered the KF milk tea & the oolong milk tea. The tapioca pearls are crazy sweet so definitely lower your tea sweetness. The tea was full of flavor. My only complaint is that there was a huge amount of foam sitting at the top of the drinks. They should make an effort to remove the foam & fill the rest of the drinks up with milk tea. The foam is filler space & adds nothing to the drink. Another thing, the music here plays very annoyingly loudly so if you plan on doing work, bring a pair of noise cancelling headphones.

Exceptionally unpleasant, and we could not wait to leave the store after picking up our drink. Classic Milk Tea, Less Sugar, Less Ice, w/ Boba ($5.66) - The drink is sweetened appropriately, which doesn't allow it to overpower the tea flavor. The tea, sweetener, and milk powder are well balanced in general. This drink is pretty consist in taste and quality with all other Quickly locations. Boba-wise, the exterior is soft and loose, with some pieces sloughing off. It's crackly with grooves and crevices. The interior is more firm, but with a chew that is different from many other boba shops. I call this the "Quickly" texture because it's a very unique chew that really can only be found at Quickly and a small number of other shops. Must be the ratio of tapioca flour they use. Overall, it's a pretty average drink, similar to other Quicklys. Drink Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 3/5 I would not revisit this Quickly location purely due to the unpleasant smell inside. If that's something that you enjoy, more power to you I guess. Bathrooms: One unisex room in the back.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!…read more This is my third time coming here, and the service has been consistently poor. The first two times, I ordered over the phone, then drove 20 minutes to pick up two mango smoothies, only to wait 43 minutes after arriving. There were barely any customers, so waiting over an hour total was completely unreasonable. Today was even worse. My boyfriend ordered summer rolls and spring rolls and clearly specified multiple times that we only wanted shrimp, since I have a severe pork allergy. He drove 30 minutes from work, only to be told the order still wasn't ready and had to wait another 18 minutes. When he got home, I checked the food (as I always do) and found pork in my "only shrimp" summer rolls. I called, and they told us to bring them back and they would remake them right away. We drove another 20 minutes back, only to wait an additional 18 minutes because, once again, the food was not ready. This place is overpriced, understaffed, and unreliable. More importantly, they do not take food allergies seriously, which is unacceptable.

We were a little confused though, because Hers Zakka is a small Japanese market, and the influencer video made it seem there was a cafe inside (did not see mention of Onezo Cafe). Actually, Hers Zakka is a market, but it does not sell cooked food. For that, you go to Onezo Cafe, and the two businesses are joined on the inside. That being said, Hers Zakka has a lot of cute items and yummy-looking snacks, that we fully intend to return and explore later. Now, I will focus the rest of my review on Onezo Cafe. Onezo Cafe is very spacious with comfy seats and a cute setup. There is a glass case full of delicious-looking confections, but my husband and I needed real food. We walked to the counter and ordered, then we noticed the ordering kiosk off to the side. The staff was very friendly.... My husband ordered the Karaage chicken combo (#8), which came with salad, California rolls, and either a tonkatsu miso or spicy tofu broth. I ordered the Korean fried chicken (KFC) combo (#10), which came with rice, salad and the same broth choices. Though my husband and I both chose spicy tofu broth, they gave him the tonkatsu, and to my dismay the spicy tofu had egg in it. Since my husband has a pork allergy and I'm allergic to eggs, we just switched. While I'm not a fan of pork, I must say the tonkatsu miso broth was delicious! My husband said the same about the spicy miso. The California rolls on my husband's place looked very mayoey, so I could not try them. My husband confirmed however, that they were indeed very good. The chicken on both our plates was very good. The Karaage was fried well and had a very good taste. The KFC was essentially the Karaage rolled in sauce. While tasty, the KFC sauce was more sweet than spicy, when I prefer more of a kick. Onezo Cafe also sells boba teas. My husband got the Coral Sea with Crystal Boba (lychee honey lemon tea), and I got the Grape Crush with Aloe (subbed coconut jelly). Both teas were delicious. We lived on the East Coast for a while, and there was a boba tea chain named Mr. Wish. I used to practically mainline this stuff, and was sad there was no Mr. Wish in MI - or anything close. One sip of my Grape Crush had me saying "Mr. Who?"! I'm not being patronizing. After three years back home I had given up on finding a boba tea I liked as much as Mr. Wish! The portion was perfect, as we were able to fill our bellies with minimal food waste. We had a plan to grab a few of their onigiri (rice balls) for later along with a dessert, but we were too full! Our total order (including tax)nwas about $40, which was a good value. I'm giving a 4-star rating. It was not clear that the spicy tofu soup contained egg, and the KFC was more sweet than spicy. Im not counting the soup mixup because that actually was a blessing in disguise. We will definitely return to explore the menu more! Same for Hers Zakka; I have my shopping list ready!

A pink floral wall contributed to a whimsical aesthetic while board games on the table gave entertainment options for patrons. I could see this as a space where friends gather to catch up and spend some downtime together. I appreciated that there wasn't any music playing so guests were able to focus on their conversation without worrying about white noise. The menu was clear yet not concise. There were many options - to the point that I felt overwhelmed. The workers were kind and patient, giving space for time to decide. I ordered the Mango milk tea with boba. When placing my order, the staff asked how much boba I would like while stating there were different amounts of boba offered as evidence by the 7 tier markings on the sample cup. I didn't realize that by following these directions, there would be an extra cost in addition to the drink price. I wish this had been communicated beforehand and think that transparency would contribute to stronger customer service relations. The drink had a sweet flavor and was light. I enjoyed the mango and it tasted similar to a juice. I thought the boba was dry. If I order a drink again, I would forego the boba toppings. Three stars because the drink flavor & the environment gave strong first impressions. I admit that not having been here before contributed to a lack of familiarity of the menu though I can't ignore the price paid for the taste of the boba. I'm open to frequenting them again & it's nice to know of another Boba chain to add to the rotation though I feel pretty ambivalent about them.
