Not helpful at all and not friendly. Ordered two bubble teas, one was done in a few minutes, waited another fifteen minutes for the second one, in between the group after us got their orders first. Very disorganized, no apology for keeping us there waiting for the second drink. Tiny and cramped inside and hard to find parking in the back. Will not be returning. Kung Fu Tea in the Broadway mall has a kiosk and it is killer! So when I saw them converting the palm reading shop to a Kung Fu Tea? I knew I was on Santa's good list. I ran inside and said do you have black sesame milk tea? In Matcha we do. I quickly switched to my favorite flavor, Oreo. My drink comes to me and its the same standard drink I had in Flushing, Kung Fu style! Now Kung Fu teas aren't just bubbles and sunshine. They have different types of teas and flavors. Besides the milk teas, there are fruit punch teas, slushies and something called a milk cap. The cup has 80 percent tea and they top it with a creamy dreamy salty-sweet milk cap. Keep in mind, to try all of the different flavors and combinations? It would take a very very long time. You can't learn Kung Fu in a day! Sure the space is small. The Worst Kung Fu Tea establishment in New York. This place is Filthy and Disgusting looking on the inside. I felt like I was in the worst neighborhood in China when I entered this place. Came here in Saturday and there seems to be only one person working so even tho it wasn't a long line we had to wait quite a while for our drinks. The coconut milk tea was good but very sweet. Pros: The boba is good and has a nice chew to it. It's nice that you can choose your ice and sugar preferences. They have a large menu that includes tea, milk tea, and dairy free options. Cons: I was excited to find out that a new bubble tea shoppe had opened. Bubble tea isn't very common on Long Island so I was hoping to find a new place to get my bubble tea fix. I ordered the Oreo Milk Strike. I have to say, this wasn't what I was expecting. The bubble tea was mostly Lactaid milk with crushed oreos. If this was a milk shake it would have been great but drinking soggy Oreos was not what I was hoping for. I wanted to give this place another chance so I came back the following week to try a classic taro. The taro milk tea was fine but didn't taste like the taro that I know and love. So nice to have a really good bubble tea place in town! If you blink, you'll drive right past it. It's a very small building in between DP Dough and the restaurant on the corner. I also don't want to salt Bambu's game, but I feel like they're much more about their slushies and smoothies than about milk tea. Give me a place that uses real tea AND real milk, I'll pick it anytime. So, please, I implore you to support this establishment, if only to bring better cuisine closer to campus. Awesome bubble tea! My boyfriend and I both got taro slushes with bubble and they were awesome! We both commented on how good and fresh the bubbles tasted. I got mine with 70% sugar but I think next time I'll do 50%. The flavor was awesome, I love frozen milk tea. My reasoning in giving them 4/5 stars is because of a few things. For one, the wait for our tea was very long and we were the only ones there. The other reason is because of the price, we both got larges and added bubble into them, but they weren't very big and it was almost $16, which is pretty expensive. read more

My girlfriend and I are ecstatic Kung Fu Tea opened in Stony Brook! We randomly stumbled upon one of their pop up locations at the Broadway Mall, near Ikea in Hicksville. I thought it was the best bubble tea I've ever had, even after being introduced to bubble tea while studying in Thailand. I said the same thing after visiting the Stony Brook location. They are very consistent. Taro bubble tea with a little ice and 30% sugar is the way to go. They have alot of other options as well. The place could be easy to miss if you aren't familiar with the area. The most amazing drink place! I enjoy the drinks so mush, I could go twice a day every day for everything I like. Mango smoothly with popping bubbles or tapioca bubbles is my favorite but there are many more I try and have them. The order widow is on the side because the restaurant is not open from COVID YET. I know this restaurant is new but I was totally disappointed with my experience a few days ago. I am a huge Kung Fu Tea fan and often go to stores in the DC area when I am home, but when I'm up here, unfortunately, the nearest location is Broadway Mall, which is a bit of a hike. The location is small and right next to DP dough and a Chinese restaurant in a white building across from the train station. Walking in, I immediately felt smothered, the place is no bigger than 20 feet by 20 feet, mayyyybeee 30. Super small and squished. Anyways, I came here one weekday evening, super excited to try their sesame matcha, only to be informed that they don't have any matcha in stock. Strange, because I would think that a tea place with a heavy Asian influence would carry it. Fine, I place an order for strawberry lemonade with boba instead and pull out my phone to pay with the app, when I get a confused look from the girl behind the counter, who informs me that they don't accept the app. Not only that but their receipts don't include the little scan code to use with the app to add the points to your account at a later date. I then pull out my credit card and I notice a sign that states that all prices include 4% service charge for credit cards and that a 4% discount is given for cash. Upon checking my receipt, I was actually charged an extra 4% of the original total which included tax. I didn't notice it until I got in my car, at which point, I was too annoyed to go back in over 25 cents. It's not an amount that will break my bank, but the principle behind it is what annoyed me. Oh yeah, the drink was good and met other Kung Fu Tea standards but the experience was such a nuisance that I wouldn't go back. I'd rather make my own bubble tea at home. read more

This place has delicious vegetarian/non-dairy options, which is awesome! Their drinks are tasty, and they are generous with the boba. The only criticism I have is that the ordering/delivery system by the cash register window is a bit of a mess. I've been here twice, and both times the "line" was unorganized. Also, both times, either myself or another customer had a confusing experience where they brought out some but not all of our order, so we had to ask where the remaining drink was. We then had to awkwardly linger near the cash register with our drinks sitting on the table in front of the people placing their orders. Personally never was a fan of Kung Fu Tea compared to some other bubble tea shops. Decided to give Kung Fu Tea another shot because of the promotion they were heavily displaying for Bubble Tea Day on 04/30. They claimed if you downloaded the app you would have one promotion allowing you for a free drink and another promotion that allowed you to buy one, get one free on the day of. However after waiting on line for about 15-20min and getting to the cash register, the cashier claimed that they do not accept the app because it is a franchise store. Because I waited for so long I decided to order a drink anyway. It made sense that some branches would not accept the promotion. However, what left me enraged was that they were advertising the same promotions that led me to the store both on the receipts that was handed to me and on the digital displays around the store. That is false advertising and they were simply luring many customers, essentially making them wait in line unnecessarily, only to tell them once they got to the front that they do not acknowledge the apps promotion regardless of them trying to spread it. This is a very bad business outlook and definitely did not help change my dislike for this bubble tea shop. read more

I'm terribly disappointed in the false advertisement of this location. A lot of customers decided to line up in hopes of getting a free drink on National Bubble Tea Day. The free bubble tea is supposed to be a nationwide promotion and the owner of this place refused to acknowledge it. They even advertised the free bubble tea on their tablet and on their receipt, yet won't give customers what they want. Telling your customers to download the app for a free drink is a blatant lie. There are a lot of cheaper alternatives to bubble tea and I wouldn't have even come to this one if it weren't for the promotion.
