But the building in the back is where things get serious. It's clean, professional, and clearly focused on training. I was very impressed with the selection of weights, free weights, and all the other equipment available. Everything you need is there, and it didn't feel crowded. The hours are very accessible, which makes it easy to fit workouts into your schedule. Entry is handled through your cell phone, which I actually found to feel very secure and modern. If you're looking for a gym that's different from the mainstream, this is definitely one to check out.

I came into the store to try both of them (he set them up side by side for easy comparison) and then shared a number of extremely helpful detailed insights based on past experience with the Cascade bike and also his assembly of both bikes. He definitely picked up considerations I would not have noticed in my comparison. Finally, he ordered the Cascade bike and it arrived a few weeks later exactly as promised. It took nearly 2 months for me to move (availability / remodeling) but after I did I came here because every fitness / gym websites didn't carry barbells or plates because it was out of stock. I knew that by paying triple the cost at least I'll get a chance to lift a little heavier, feeling a sense of normalcy amidst this outbreak. Call for prices. I don't remember how much was the bar and the plates but my total w/ tax for both was nearly $600. To me it was definitely worth it because now I can incorporate some compound movements into my regimen like before. We went not completely sure which bike we wanted or the best fit. The staff working was very informative and spent a lot of time explaining options and tradeoffs. I appreciate they didn't just push us to the most expensive options. Rather, they took the time to understand his preferences and use for the bike and then made a few recommendations. They were very patient the entire time, letting him test ride multiple bikes until he found the perfect one. We had such a great experience that we went back to purchase a second bike later that evening!

This is a long overdue review of Gym Guards. I reached out via Yelp and Sasha responded within…read moreminutes. He was able to provide a date and time frame when a technician can come look at my treadmill. I sent him the video of the issue and treadmill brand. He also provided a quote for the service. My treadmill was making squeaking and rushing sounds when used. It seemed misaligned or caught onto something. It was internal issue and I was no expert on figuring out what it was. A few days later Tim arrived, he texted me 15 minutes before which was greatly appreciated. He assessed the issue and not only did he fix the issue, he even fixed what a previous tech did to my treadmill. My treadmill was originally seen by a Nordictrack outsourced tech to replace my belt and battery back in November 2025. After Tim corrected the lazy method the previous tech made, I had regrets of going through Nordictrack in the first place. I should have just went with Gym Guards when I first came across them on Yelp. Tim gave me advice on future maintenance I can do to my treadmill i.e. lubricant application after 150 miles, as well as using an Allen wrench when it comes to tightening my walking belt. Tim was a perfectionist and didn't leave till he checked the treadmill thoroughly. He actually spent a decent time making sure the issue was fixed, treadmill was stable, and no other problems arose as he let the treadmill run. Definitely worth getting your equipment checked by them.
