Update: I was contacted by the owner Lisa, who was very kind. Went back today and got everything fixed free of charge. I've had 3 gel polish manicures done here. 2 of the 3 started chipping within days. My gel polish pedicure is also coming off... Like the whole nail color came off in 1 piece!!!! (Lasted less than a week) This also happened to my Mom when she got a pedicure here. Some of the nail techs are great and do very nice work but if you're unlucky you will walk out of this place very unsatisfied. And likely need to return to have things redone. This place also lacks good color selection in my opinion. read more

I came in with naturally long nails but the lady Mimi who had me cut my nails and tried to put on fake nails. I tried to specify that I'm not allowed to have fake long nails and crazy colors from the very moment I walked in the shop when they asked me what kind of services I wanted, but I'm not too sure if they disregarded me or there was a language barrier? (I'm currently going on a trip, but because of my job, that's why I tried to keep my nails as natural length and colored as possible) but tell me why she cut my nails and tried to put fake nails on me?? Luckily for her I didn't mind whether or not I have long nails. But working with my natural (mistakenly) cut nails, you can see the flaws. Honestly, it's only been 2 days since I did my nails and she's already peeling. You can see how it wasn't even cut as clean as it should be or painted as clean as it should be. I paid a Hefty price and sitting here with my nails peeling and not even on my trip yet, I really feel the regret in service and money paid. I'm not one to dictate how a company should charge a customer but I just wanna note that Mimi and another employee who haven't even worked on me have been having a conversation with my total. The conversation was something like "Okay, your total is $190" -me about to pay- "No $210, blah blah blah" "Blah blah blah... Oh, okay $210" As far as myself, I cannot understand them and I just didn't feel comfortable how the price was either shot up or down for a reason I didn't even know especially AFTER the fact that they made a mistake with cutting my nails. To Kunia nails, thank you for your services for this long, but I'm going to humbly take my services elsewhere. It's one thing to mess up, but after that uncomfortable situation of not knowing what I'm even paying for, my total going up for some reason,, especially after a mistake like that, AND having that conversation in front of your face. First time here walked in for a pedicure gel & gel full set my total came out to $120.42. Im 100% satisfied with my pedicure the guy did an excellent good, as will for sure be going back just for that. As for my nails not really trilled. Not sure what her name was but while she did my nails it felt rushed. When she put the polish before starting to add the acrylic on i felt it go on my skin only my right hand & after a while it started to burn. I've gotten my nails done handful of times & never experienced something like this, i just brushed it off. As she was finishing up i moved my hand away due to it hurting & noticed she had cut me. She did apologize but laughed after while i was dealing with the pain. Even my pointer finger is cracked underneath not a big deal but shorten the life of the nails. 3 days later the same hand that was burning around my nails is cracked & dry. I've tried to add lotion washed it nothing worked, i even tried to scratch it off but im peeling off a layer of my skin & it doesnt feel nice. Dont get me wrong my set is decent but for the price i paid, i feel like she couldve put more effort. My whole nail isnt fully painted, the top coat is patching. From my end you can see & even feel the finish product doesnt have a smooth finish it's bumpy. read more

I have really terrible migraines and so I stumbled onto this place looking for a scalp massage place. At first I thought i was crazy since it was a nail spa. But I'm so glad I went in. Now I come here every other week to get my hair washed and my tension headaches relieved. She takes her time massaging the scalp and it's so relaxing I fall asleep. The quick back massage she does is a bonus. My next appointment will include the hour back massage with the scalp treatment! I'm so excited! read more

Got here about 9ish and inside looked a little different from what I remember seeing years ago but with that said everyone was welcoming and very friendly. The hubby and I went in for mani pedi combos. The water started off super cold I guess because we were the first costumers in there but it soon got nice and warm. We were able to get it done at the same time toes and fingers ! I loved it. My favorite part will always be the paraffin wax. Although it wasn't as hot as I would have liked , it felt great! Wish the hot stones were a touch hotter as well. I wish the hot stone treatment was a littler longer. I always feel comfort with the hot stone massage so I always want more. Am sad because I thought I had found "my nail place" close to work. Have been coming here for months. Today, I walked in for a manicure and pedicure, even had my feet in water soaking. 2 girls walked in and verbally said they had no appt. I heard them because my seat was closest to the front door. Then, I was asked to remove my feet and go back to the waiting bench because "they had an appt ahead of me." This is untrue. I'm unsure if it's because of race or if it's because of 2 people vs 1. My mother-in-law recommended this place to me. I was a bit reluctant as this place had mixed reviews but as of recent years the reviews got a lot better. I have to say, I LOVE this place. The ambience is really nice and the nail tech worked so quickly but she was so meticulous and the results came out exactly how I wanted precautions for COVID were good too - they have plastic shields up between you and the nail tech and everything is very sanitary. Another Update: 7/25/20 They are under new management and this time, they've really improved from my last review. When I do my nails it's usually on a whim and I don't make appointments in advance. Each time I've called, they've had openings when I needed and I didn't have to wait once I arrive. I now go to Lisa to do my nails and she always does a fabulous job with the shaping and design. What I love the most about her nail technique is she always cleans the cuticle area with a small bulb shaped drill bit. I've not had any issues with lifting and her designs last me at least 3-4 weeks before I need a fill. They've redeemed themselves and they get 5 stars from me. (A long time customer of this shop that's survived multiple changeovers.) read more
