Hi,  I'm Josh and I wanted to reach out to the owner/manager of your business.  Quick back story on me. I'm a Police Officer who sustained serious back and neck injuries in Feb 2019 after a 100mph car accident ( pursuit ) while working. I'm extremely lucky to be alive first off, secondly to walk and talk. This being said... I heard about your business via friends and talking. I've been through multiple PT assessments and different spine and back doctors and have received some amazing treatments throughout the last year. However, after leaving a treatment and feeling great, I still could not sleep comfortably at all. You never realize how good a full nights sleep is with no neck pain, until your flipped in a car and head bashes around on things...  Well I was given the name Kayte by a friend whom I trust and made an appointment with her. I went to my appointment about 30 mins early ( hate being late ) and the front desk female ( I didn't catch her name but she was a sweetheart ) made great conversation and was very polite and sweet. My time came and I met with Kayte and explained my accident and where my injuries were and how I feel daily. Kayte didn't yes me to death and I could tell that she was generally concerned and offered feedback as to what we could do during the massage, which areas are tender and such. Well my hour went by quite quickly as I had a great conversation ( and fell asleep on table  briefly) with Kayte. I felt amazing as I'd hoped I would. Thanked Kayte and left. Continued with my day and night and went to bed. I woke up the next morning, after about 8 1/2 hours of completely uninterrupted sleep! Couldn't Believe it.. got out of bed, neck and back felt great! Being slightly skeptical, chalked it up to .. ok 1st morning after a real massage I should feel great.. Well it's been over a week now and still getting sleep like I did prior to my accident.  Please let Kayte know how grateful I am to feel like I did over a year ago. My friends and I came to Kūr during our girls weekend trip, and Troy and his team made it a great experience! All four of us got great massages - and I would go as far as to say it's the best massages each of us have ever had. Rodney, Katie, and the others were incredibly attentive and made sure to make any adjustments if there was any discomfort or focus areas we wanted to prioritize. One friend also loved the rest of the package she had that was specific to expecting mothers (including a wrap, facial, etc.). Trey was also a great yoga instructor and we had a blast in his Sunday morning class. My massage and masseuse were AMAZING so this review has nothing to do with her. I found the facility beautiful. Very clean. Clearly this is a high end establishment. I did; however, find a few areas for improvement. They took my cc number online and required that additionally you manually swipe your card in person. Not a big deal but they should tell you that BEFORE you get there. Further when I questioned this practice this the term "the customer is always right" is not a phrase the staff is familiar with. This place can be intimidating and i found the experience condescending. So. If you DONT care how you get treated this place is great. If; however, you expect a level of service commensurate with their appearance you will be sorely disappointed. Additionally post service I stood there in the lobby and no one said "we will be with you in a minute" again it's a customer service issue. I'll go back. But I don't expect to be treated like a valued customer. read more

Since February, I've been training with Christina and believe she is one of the most motivational & committed trainers around. I enjoyed the variety & challenge she put into the sessions! Christina is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging (and somehow fun). As a result, my fitness has increased noticeably, and I've seen improvements in my ability to complete more exercises, increase my confidence, & generally push myself harder throughout each session. I find I look forward to my workouts. Notably, she ensures that my technique and breathing are always correct to avoid any injuries. In addition, she is extremely reliable & punctual. I frequent the Asbury area on the weekends when I visit my beach house. I wanted to treat myself and do some self care, so I decided to book a Swedish massage at Kur. Kayte was my massage therapist and she was absolutely fantastic. She took the time to understand what my needs were (running a marathon in 2 weeks, so legs and back!). Both during and after the session, she was giving me advice on what I should be stretching more, what was tight, and what parts of my body felt good through my rigorous training. She was so friendly and warm and made the entire experience great. She was so knowledgeable about the body! I had such a nice massage at Kur, that I decided to take a yoga class the next day (self care!!). It was a Flow class with Ryan and she was totally awesome. She took the time to introduce herself to everyone in the class and ask what our needs were/if there were certain areas of our body that were injured, etc. She had THE BEST playlist ever, the music was at a perfect volume. She was so engaged and truly cared about all of us in class. It was my first time returning to yoga in a few months, and it was a warm way to be welcomed back into the community. My friend and I purchased groupon deals for a 10 class pass. We go once a week and we love it. Since both of us are nurses we work any 3 days a week. We have tried multiple different classes, yoga instructors, and times. The classes are small and attentive. We were able to use the studio wall on the first class. They provide blocks, sandbags, and blankets. The studio smells great. They also offer massages. Definitely recommend this studio!! read more
