We had flowers and they brought over a vase with water to keep them safe while we ate. So sweet

What a wonderful dinner. Carolina took care of us and had great recommendations. We went in and asked for a menu. While we perused a customer said this was an amazing place so we decided to stay. Great twists on sushi and everything tasted great.

Acevichado roll. 10 pieces! Tempura shrimp, avocado, hamachi, special spicy sauce.

The service is impeccable. The owners are very welcoming, kind, and friendly. The sushi was amazing! I wish they had more counter seats so we could watch them making the sushi. They only had three. But the service and the food were perfect!

We were so excited for Kuromon to open, and it did not disappoint! You can tell the chef pays close attention to every detail of the sushi--from the rice to the presentation. This is the kind of sushi that doesn't need to be drowned in soy sauce; in fact, I don't think I used it once because every bite was packed with incredible flavor. We ordered the Dragon Roll, Nike Anticuchera, Spicy Hamachi, and Spicy Tuna, and loved them all. Fresh, beautifully plated, and perfectly balanced--Kuromon is definitely a new favorite.

A small place with attentive staff who welcomed me in even though it was close to closing time. The food was delicious and I look forward to going again if I'm in the area. Highly recommend!

I had an incredible meal at Kuromon Sushi. Everything was incredibly fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor. The way they blend Japanese technique with Peruvian flavors is truly special and feels intentional, not gimmicky. The real standout for me was the sashimi. Easily some of the best I've ever had. Each cut was pristine, perfectly seasoned, and let the quality of the fish shine. You can immediately tell how much care goes into sourcing and preparation. A special shoutout to Giovanni, the chef and owner, who personally came by to say hello and check in. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable and shows how much pride he takes in his restaurant. I went on a Thursday night and it was fairly quiet, which made for a relaxed, intimate dining experience. The service was also excellent. Attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming without feeling rushed. And do not skip dessert. The dulce de leche molten cake was unreal. Warm, rich, and the perfect way to end the meal. If you're in South Beach and love high-quality sushi with a unique twist, Kuromon is a must. I'll absolutely be back.

If I could give Kuromon Sushi more than 5 stars, I would! From start to finish, this was an unforgettable sushi experience. We sampled a variety of dishes, and while everything was delicious, the standouts for me were the nigiri. The Salmon Anticuchero, Wagyu Anticuchero, and Truffle Salmon are absolute must-tries. Lightly seared to perfection, each piece comes with its own thoughtfully crafted topping that enhances the fish without overpowering it, so flavorful you won't even think about reaching for soy sauce. The fish quality is exceptional, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and paired with perfectly seasoned rice. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Plates arrived at just the right pace, and they were happy to share recommendations and answer questions. This is, without a doubt, one of the best sushi experiences I've ever had and I'm already planning my next visit.

We split the spicy tuna roll, dragon roll, and a handheld hamachi yuzu kosho. It was so so good. Will definitely be going back at least one more time on my trip, and a must-stop for future visits to Miami Beach! I am not a huge sushi person, more of a trying to like sushi and honestly just thinking it's okay. This place 100% made me change my mind. I ate this upppp. Everything we had was amazing! All of the staff was so kind and helpful when deciding that to get and very attentive!! It has such a cool vibe in the building as well.

Nos encantó ! Espectacular , todo riquísimo . El servicio muy bueno y muy atentos .

Highly recommend Kuromon Sushi. The food is delicious and the quality of the sushi was incredibly fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. The truffle salmon nigiri is a must-try! All of the staff were very attentive and kind, especially our server, Andhiny. It was our second time visiting, and we will definitely be back! Thank you Kuromon

Salmon tiradito

Amazing sushi, especially their specialty nigiri's. Not your typical regular sushi flavors but better. The sushi rice that they make has an amazing taste to it and it definitely elevates everything that already tastes good. Freshest ingredients and bold flavors that, in my opinion, you don't even really need to dip in soy sauce. If you're not a person who eats raw ingredients, they offer other stuff that are just as amazing especially their gyoza that is just so delicious and different than other places I've been to. They obviously offer your regular sushi styles but if you're also looking for something unique and deliciously unusual flavors, this is definitely a place to go to! I highly recommend Kuromon sushi and can't wait to go back soon!

Sushi was mid and overpriced. No bang for my buck here. Personally Sushi Bichi is still the hard hitter in this neighborhood.

It offered consistently…read moregood food, a welcoming atmosphere, and reasonable prices, making it an easy recommendation for friends and family. In fact, as my wife and I were walking in on our most recent visit, I was commenting that this would be a great place to bring out-of-town guests. Unfortunately, that opinion changed by the end of the evening. When the bill arrived, we learned that the corkage fee had increased from $25 to $35 without any notice. We politely explained that we were longtime customers who had always paid the longstanding $25 fee, but management was unwilling to make any accommodation or honor the previous rate. The increase itself did affect our perception. While $10 may not seem like a large amount, it represented a significant percentage jump for a neighborhood bistro, and it shifted the overall value equation for us in a noticeable way. What made it more frustrating is that a corkage fee increase feels different from a menu price adjustment. Rising food, labor, and operating costs can justify higher menu prices, but a corkage fee is simply a charge for opening and serving a bottle the customer brings in. Increasing it 40% without notice felt excessive, especially for a casual neighborhood restaurant rather than a high-end dining establishment. At $35, the corkage fee no longer feels aligned with the restaurant's positioning or value. Combined with the lack of transparency and the unwillingness to honor a long-standing rate for loyal customers, it meaningfully changed how we view the restaurant. The food was still very good, as it has been on previous visits. However, the overall experience left a sour taste. As a result, my wife and I won't be returning, and we will no longer recommend Silverlake Bistro to friends, family, or out-of-town visitors. That's a shame, because this was once one of the best reasonably priced neighborhood restaurants in the area. A relatively small change, handled differently, could have preserved our loyalty. Instead, it cost the restaurant two regular customers and future word-of-mouth recommendations.

I have not actually been at the restaurant, but I got an opportunity to try it at La Poubelle, the…read morepiano bar which serves food from Silverlake Bistro. We ordered: - a burger with fries - a buttermilk bibb lettuce salad - ice cream with chocolate sauce Rating these three: - The burger was absolutely outstanding, delicious, very well made, absolutely amazing. - The ice cream with chocolate sauce was also pretty good. - The bibb lettuce salad was not my favorite at all. It was overly-drenched with dressing. The flavor was a little bit off, and I actually couldn't finish the salad, which was a smallish portion to begin with. Overall, I would definitely love to try Silverlake Bistro based on the food I tried at La Poubelle. I've heard so many great things about it, so I'd definitely give it a try.

If you love cruising which I do and you love craft beer, you will absolutely love District Brew House. It is located on deck 8 towards the front of the ship. When I was on my cruise, it was the best kept secret on the ship. If you have cruised on a mega-ship like the Escape, you know getting a drink, especially in a frequented club or on the pool deck will usually mean long lines. On the Norwegian Escape, me and my friends did a test. One group of my friends stood in the line in prime time in the evening at Spice H2O on Deck 17 towards the rear of the ship. My group left them, walked all the way to District Brew House on 8 in the front of the ship, ordered drinks and came back. The group at Spice H2O were still waiting for their drinks. From that day on, we made it a point to stop in District Brew House before going anywhere else. Things you need to know about District Brew House on the Norwegian Escape: 1) They have draft beer and craft bottles 2) It wasn't too crowded and the service was great 3) We had the unlimited drink package and all our beers were FREE 4) At night they had a piano player from 9 pm until... 5) In 7 days you can try every beer they have, if beer is all you're drinking

Sushi Bichi is an answer to much of what ails the restaurant field in Miami. Unpretentious, vibey,…read morewarm, incredible value, great food. Everyone on the staff was smiley, friendly and helpful. The Happī Hour menu stands out as one of the best values in the area. I had 2 Classic Mojitos, Shrimp Cocktail, Lumpia Shanghai Roll, Pinoy BBQ Skewers and Kurobuta Corn Dogs from the Happī Hour menu. From the full menu, I had Salmon Tiradito, and the Chocolate Smores Cake a La Mode for dessert. Standouts for me were the Salmon Tiradito which had a beautiful presentation. It comes plated like a work of art with gooseberry, fresno chili, annatto oil, mustard oil, sea salt, white nikirisoy aioli. Wish I had taken a photo. This is the only place I ever order corn dogs (and I ALWAYS order them here) which are made with a Japanese sausage and come with a special spicy mustard that gives it an interesting, gourmet kick. Don't go heavy on the mustard if you're sensitive to spice. Hot! I am told the Chocolate Smores Cake a La Mode is inspired by the owner's son, and it is magnificently-plated and delicious. This is not the campfire version of S'mores. This is the haute cuisine version. You cannot beat Sushi Bichi on quality of food and experience for the price, especially during the Happī Hour which runs 4-6:30pm. You can walk onto the beach after your meal, if you'd like. It's right there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Parking tip: there is a large public lot on Collins Avenue around the corner that I've always found a spot in. Short walk to Sushi Bichi.

Matcha tres leches was a stunner. Mochi came with 4 flavors, banana, passion fruit, mango, and birthday cakes. Best was birthday cake and banana. Ralph was our server. Great presence. Down to earth.
