My husband is from India (Gujarat) so we eat authentic Indian food on a regular basis and we found the food here to be a different flavor than what we're used to, probably because it's more Pakistani than Indian in terms of flavor. Both of the curries we had were more sweet than what we're used to, but they weren't bad. Just didn't satisfy our cravings! My husband ordered the Paani Puri as it's his all-time favorite dish and they prepared it here much differently than what he's used to. He really wasn't a fan. Their Masala Fries (an appetizer), however, were absolutely incredible! I haven't had fries like this before and the crunch fries paired with the assorted sauce combination was so delicious. If you're looking for Indian food and are searching for a specific flavor palette, I might recommend trying elsewhere because your tastebuds might not be fully satisfied here. So there are multiple choices of Tikka bowls. Valerie recommends the Butter Masala, and I choose Lamb for my Protein. Choose your spice, I choose hot. I'm avoiding rice, so I sub out for veg. (peas, carrots, onions and the like) This is the perfect lunch portion for me with left over sauce I am sad to see go into the bin! Not too heavy to need a nap and perfect enough to not need a dessert! Wow, was Val right! That butter Masala was perfectly spicy, and so buttery and full flavored, I couldn't believe it. Even after all my lamb and veggies were gone, I kept lapping up forkfulls of the curry, just to get another hit of flavor and spice. Soooo, good. So not busy, and it should be. So priced right for the filling lunch. So original and true to its roots. After pickup and leaving the parking lot, we realized the order was incorrect. We received our Tikka Masala, but instead of the Veggie Saag we ordered, we were given samosas. We called, explained what happened, and were asked to come back so they could swap the order. We were already tired from a long morning with our 5-year-old and 2-year-old, but we turned around and came back. What disappointed me wasn't simply that the order was wrong. We understand mistakes happen. It was how the mistake was handled. When we returned, they took back the samosas, charged us the roughly $8 difference for the Saag, and had us wait while it was prepared. There was no real apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience and no gesture to make up for having us turn around and come back because of their error. I understand paying the difference between two items, and I wasn't expecting anything extravagant. But good customer service could have been as simple as apologizing, letting us keep the samosas that had already left the restaurant and likely couldn't be served again anyway, offering us a drink while we waited, or making some other small gesture to acknowledge the inconvenience. Did they offer any of that....nope. Instead, we ended up sitting in the car longer with two tired, fussy young kids while waiting for the correct food after already waiting for the original order. We've eaten here many times and normally have a great experience, which is why this was so surprising. Mistakes with an order are understandable. How you respond to the mistake is what customers remember, and unfortunately, the customer service in this situation fell short.

Food was good (Punjabi, which we love), but not spectacular - quite oily as the photos show, and Methi Malai, though tasty, was a bit too sweet.
