I'm not sure when I'll be back, the location is not convenient for me personally, but pretty good. That said, I'm easy to please. I had chicken tikka masala, with rice, and naan. I was there in the evening and did not experience the buffet. The food was good, and the pricing was reasonable. I would have loved to give this place another star but they need some improvement. This review is based on a Friday 12:30 PM arrival for lunch. First of all - all the dishes I had were very tasty, and that is a good thing. Problem is, the buffet selection, while small, tended to be not refilled in a timely manner. It as if they were either slow in the kitchen or rationing the food, and only bringing out more food when each station was completely empty ... for some time. Food seemed to be mainly vegetarian although there was tandoori chicken as well as chicken in sort of curry dish. No fish and no soup. The plate you see in the picture was my first and that was from the bottom of all of the pans. The food on the initial plate was essentially cold. But remember I said it was tasty. The garlic naan was very hot, and no refills were offered. We kept wondering if they were going to replenish the food and finally the kitchen was advised and maybe after 15 minutes fresh hot dishes stated coming out. The decor of the place at the end of Kroger-anchored strip mall had nothing of an Indian theme so don't expect that sort of ambience. There are about 7 tables inside and maybe another 6 or so outside but this is summer in Houston so no one was outside. The sole waitress was friendly enough but probably overworked ...? The guy from the kitchen was very pleasant and friendly as he brought out more food, and asked if everything was OK. If they improve on the logistics regarding the food supply and maybe create a little ambience, then they would have something to really recommend. For now, it's average. read more

My go-to for Indian lunch buffet. The restaurant is small and quiet, with a good selection in the lunch buffet, the space is clean and the food is delicious. The naan bread came out piping hot to the point I could barely touch it...crispy yet soft. The buffet has all of my usual favorites; chicken tikka masala, palak paneer, vegetable korma, multiple kinds of biryani (vegetarian or meat eater), tandoori chicken that is very nicely seasoned and numerous other selections. One critique I have is that I like my paneer and tikka masala a bit thicker, these run just a bit, but still taste great. Something else that I don't remember from previous visits was the unsweetened iced tea - this is very good and not just your run of the mill iced tea. I detected cloves and possibly all spice in what appeared to be a black tea. It was super flavorful and slightly surprising. This is definitely been one of my favorite Indian experiences in Houston since I've been to Aga's down in Mahna Gandhi district. However, if you're in the northwest area of Houston, this is definitely a spot you want to come to. The Indian music sets a great atmosphere in this small little quaint, almost café kind of feel. there's about 10 tables And during the lunchtime between 11 AM to about 3 PM they have an unlimited buffet. And I definitely want to return back for that. The family and I went there on a Friday evening and had a wonderful authentic Indian meal. The nice thing is that they could adjust some of the dishes to fit the various spicy levels of those in my family. We started off with vegetarian samosas and chicken. We also ordered chicken curry, chicken vindaloo, goat Rogan Josh, shrimp madras,, garlic naan, bullet naan. We were all thoroughly satisfied with every single dish that came out. The services was kind, friendly and thoughtful. They even brought out ice cream for my 2.5 y/o daughter. I highly recommend this if you like authentic Indian food. And I'll definitely be back looking forward to hopefully a lunchtime that I could really unleash my appetite. read more

I come here about once every month or so. The food is good. Not great. There are better Indian buffets around town, but this is right down the street from my house, and like I said, the food is good. They could put a few more options on the buffet, but they are working with really limited space, so that might have something to do with it. The biggest sticking point is the service. They only have one person at the front of the house. Taking payment, getting drinks, and getting naan. With only 8 tables, they don't really need another person. But at the same time, it means you don't always get your refills on your drinks that quickly. Or you're almost through with your plate before you get your naan. Annoying little things like that. I appreciate the fact that they say they have a buffet and they actually do. Plenty of traditional choices and everything was very good. They do request people to wear masks not masks gloves at the buffet line but watching somebody dishing up right now, clearly not enforced/important. I'm okay with that however ; I think we are all past this covid crap by now. The food is very good and it is kept fresh looking. They have a little carrot side dish that I love. Between the rice and the carrots my meal is complete after I add a little butter chicken. Very friendly staff and if you pay cash you get 5% off. Lunch buffet is Monday through Friday 11:00 to 2:30. We came for dinner and it was fantastic! The service was attentive and helpful. I had the lamb korma and was very impressed. The food was fresh and hot, as was the garlic naan. The veggie samosas had a flaky and tasty pastry and the sauces served with them were incredible. At other places the sauces served with samosas are often too sweet or too spicy to where you can taste nothing but heat. These were just sweet enough, a nice balance of heat, and overall had good flavor. I left four instead of five stars as the samosas were a little cold in the middle, but tasted fresh nonetheless. This is one of the better restaurants for Indian food in the area! We came here and tried the samosas, lamb biryani, navratan korma, and garlic naan. Everything was so good...full of flavor, affordable, and great portion sizes. I couldn't really pick a favorite item. The naan wasn't overly crisp like some places, either. Service was pretty good on top of it all. It is a pretty small place and tables aren't big, so it's best for small groups. I'm really looking forward to coming back. read more

The food was refreshed regularly and we didn't miss a larger buffet 'tall. Two items were new to this Indian buffet lover: the iced tea was spiced (cloves and I don't know what else in black tea; a light flavor addition that was lovely), and the buffet included carrot halwa, which I didn't realize was dessert-sweet since it was at the beginning of the buffet line. I ordered Malai kofta as it was looking great in their website. I have never tasted like this gravy anywhere. I could smell onion tomato raw flavor, mixed with water. There should be some justice for the money we pay. It's hard owned money and to see this cheap quality I am not able to accept. I ha s never trashed the food though it was not good. So far the food has been wonderful. I always get the saag paneer and its everything I hoped for. Just a warning, the first time they asked if I wanted it just a little spicy because it doesn't come spicy. I thought sure why not spice up my life. Holy batman, way too spicy for someone like myself! It was still good, and I managed to eat it, but the struggle was there. Second time I got here at 2:40 but they close at 2:30. The owner (he seemed like the owner unless he was just a really passionate employee) was so nice and let me in anyway and told me he doesn't like to turn people away if they're hungry.
