    Super shoyu ramen
    Hali W.

Stopped in to try out this place since it's new-ish to the Worcester public market! I got a to-go order. Food - I ordered the super shoyu (pictured) and my bf got the miso (not pictured) both were decent, the marinated egg was perfect (probably the best I've had in awhile), the noodles were decent not as bouncy as I'd like probably due to being takeout, the bamboo shoots were marinated well too. I wish there was a bit thicker piece of meat and maybe another slice. I did see reviews of people who didn't get enough broth in to-go orders, but I thought I had plenty. Overall this was an ok ramen just to get over a ramen craving. Service - everyone was SUPER nice and super helpful with questions/attentive to the order. You also get a rewards card that allows you to get a free ramen after 11 bowls purchased. But before that you have to play a game of who has the highest HP from drawing a random Pokémon card (which ends up being your rewards card they punch holes in). Ambiance - really cool place with lots of cool things to look at while waiting for your order. Anime themed gear/collectibles and overall super cool theme. I would go here again to try their shio ramen, but maybe in the future they can introduce a tonkotsu!

I finally made it down to Kuru Kuru Ramen in the Worcester Public Market. Greeted by some amazing energy behind the counter. I ordered the mega miso ramen to go. Was very pleased with my ramen and the price was very reasonable.

We tried the ogeat lemonade (very refreshing), miso carrots appetizer (both of us loved - very unique flavors), the spicy tantanmen (not too spicy/was just right for me), the lamb wontons (not our favorite - only 4 dumpling shaped wontons, flavors heavy on the lamb, might not be filling), and lastly, the brown butter ice cream (topped with pepper which was interesting! But very delicious). They were able to accommodate nut allergies easily and everything tasted amazing. The total came out to be about $35-$40 per person depending on tip. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, and the space was clean. Parking wasn't an issue at all.

I got the spicy ramen and my partner got the chicken non spicy one, please refer to pics as I forgot the name... highly recommend getting the chicken ramen, the broth is light and savory, additionally lots of protein and veggies to make it the perfect ramen bowl. The spicy ramen was okay, I love spice but this one was a bit starchy as if too much starch was used to thicken the broth. The noodles were also way too soft; and there's very little protein. I got beansprout as an add on and that was $2; a bit much if added onto the bowl.

It was fried noodles with chicken, beef, pork and vegetables in a delicious sauce. I also had the traditional Chinese appetizer. That was also delicious. I got a scorpion bowl to drink. We also got the teriyaki beef. Cooked to perfection. The waitress was helpful in answering all our questions about different foods. She was very friendly and accommodating. The place was on the older side but appeared to be clean. Restroom was very clean. They held a wine and paint night in the back of the place. We had so much fun painting a cardinal in a winter theme. We came from CT to Worcester MA for this dinner because it has the reputation of being the best Chinese food. I have to agree it was the best authentic food I have ever tasted. Would definitely recommend, it is worth the trip.

Atmosphere: this restaurant is really spacious! There is a big bar when you walk in and lots of booths / seating in the back. The decor was typical for a Chinese restaurant. There was a TV by our booth. Parking: Spacious lot behind the restaurant which is great for its location on Park Ave Service: Average. Waitress was fine. Not bad, not great. Food: Entree doesn't come with rice; for the amount you pay this should be included. Sesame chicken and lo mein was average. Mochi was awful, tasted freezer burnt and was crystalized like it had been sitting for months. Summary: I wouldn't go out of my way to go back here but if you're looking for an average dining experience for Chinese food this place is fine. Don't bother with dessert.
