The other stores didn't have the screws we needed, we think, it's hard tell because everything is packaged up. To have keys made - you (the customer) do that at a kiosk machine...no thank you. Once at Ace someone helped us right away. He was personable and knowledgeable, he understood what we needed for our project. The screws are loose in little drawers and it was easy to find the length we needed. AND they even make the keys for you, which we had them do. In addition, on our way out of the store we noticed they sold Weber gas grills. We ended up purchasing one online and had it assembled and delivered, (both free) from this same store. The store worked with me on a delivery time and even called when they were on their way. The grill was delivered on time and looks great. The delivery guys were friendly and quick. This will be our hardware store from now on!

I have had the worst experiences with Wardle's and just want to warn others…read more In June 2024, as a brand new chicken owners, I bought 3 Rhode Island Red hens from them. I was not able to go into the coop with the sales associate so he just went in, grabbed whatever three hens he could get and put them in my carrier. When I got home and took them out, I noticed one could barely walk. I tried to give her some rescue 911 electrolytes in her water and access to food thinking maybe getting scooped up and put in a box and then being in a car for 15 minutes was a stress on her nervous system and she just needed some time to acclimate. I called Wardle's to tell them what happened and asked if I could switch her for another hen. The manager told me no because she could be sick... even though that meant they had just sold me a sick chicken. She struggled for weeks. We had to keep her in a separate coop and spent countless dollars on a ton of different supplements trying to figure out what was wrong with her and to keep her alive. Finally we tried Vitamin B12 and after a few days of it in her water, she able to walk normally. Although she was always a pretty sickly chicken and not even a year later we found her dead in the coop one morning (no sign of attack or any injuries). Fast forward to September of 2025. We wanted to get a few chicks to raise and integrate with our flock. Against my better judgement, we went back to Wardle's to get chicks. They only had 4 week olds and again, we weren't allowed in the room where the brooders were to pick the ones we wanted so we just told the associate how many and which breeds. We got 3 gold laced Wyandottes, a Rhode Island Red and a Barred Rock. I looked in the box and noticed one of the hens had a pretty big comb. I asked if that was normal because we definitely didn't want a rooster. They assured me it was a hen. 3 months later, our "hen" has started crowing. We can't have roosters in Lakewood so now we have to find someone to take him or cull him. It breaks my heart. Of note, since then we have ordered chicks from McMurray and Meyer's Hatchery and had really healthy, beautiful, hens. Not a single rooster. I would highly recommend ordering from a hatchery over buying any chickens from Wardle's!

Unlike many repair services these days where you often have to mail items far away or drop things off with an unknowledgeable clerk, at Phone Repair and More you can talk directly with the technicians to ensure there are no miscommunications and that you get the information you need. Surprisingly, When people come into the store they may not have already booked an electrician or have a master plan put together for a space. The idea that you can sell lamps and not have any type of return policy (especially when buying 3-4, without offering installation) is pretty lame. I didn't appreciate wasting my time, especially with a store manager, who was clearly disinterested in learning about my needs and coming up with a solution. I didn't bother looking at the tables on offer after learning about the return policy either. Overall the decor of the store is too similar to furniture row's offerings. I hope they decide to adjust their policies and actually show some common sense on how they run the business into the future. It's obvious the sales staff isn't trained too well and the store is going through some growing pains; they were hanging a "Grand Opening" banner when I walked into the store today. I don't really see any compelling reason to come here over Etsy or other metro area offerings if they won't give you the opportunity to use their products in your own space. Larrabee's furniture on C470 and Broadway offers substantially better products. Urban lighting has better lamps. Avoid.
