Save your time. Don't go. Don't call. Estimated times are awful. Called. Was told no wait. I got my car there 15 minutes after I hung up. Was told 45 minutes. I've now been sitting here for an hour and 15 minutes. And they're not done.- Were they nice? Yes, they were polite and kind throughout the whole process. But I would not have come that I known it was gonna take over an hour. So whether they were wrong or whether they lied, it was a bad experience for me. Upon arrival, I clearly stated that I wanted only an oil change--no additional services, inspections, or disassembly. I was told the service would take approximately 20 minutes. I left my keys and walked next door, returning about 30 minutes later. When I returned, I found my vehicle with filters removed and parts disassembled, laid out across the top of my engine. This was done without my consent, despite my explicit instructions. When I questioned this, the attendant stated that "this is their process," dismissing the fact that I had declined any additional work. The situation worsened when I discovered oil smudges on my interior armrest after they pulled my car to the front and left it running. The staff attempted to wipe it off, leaving visible marks. Amazing Experience I had a really great experience when I went in to get my fluids checked. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, comfortable, and well taken care of. I especially want to recognize Ms. Wanda and Mary, because they were absolutely amazing! They were both so kind, patient, professional, and attentive. They took the time to make sure I was comfortable and understood what was going on, and their positive attitudes really made a difference. Came here for an oil change despite some reviews and was told it would be 30 min tops. Went to the nearby Pizza Hut with my daughter for an hour and after watching them not pull it in I called. They said it was about to be pulled out now and ran out to pull it in and begin. 30 minutes after arriving it was finally ready and they apologized saying they had to order a filter which their technician failed to mention to anyone. After a discount was applied great fully I called to speak to the manager upon arriving t home and seeing they charged me for the most expensive one instead of the cheapest option as I asked and made sure to double check. 2 hour wait for the inspection. they completed it and I drove away when i noticed they wrote that my odometer had over 109k miles when in fact it has 25k I called them and they said bring it back, but when I returned no apology they just made me wait in line again for another inspection. They seemed really annoyed that I had come back when in fact it was their mistake! this is not the first time I have had problems with this place, but I guarantee it is the last since I will never go back for any of our three cars! read more

This place was just taken over by a new corporation called Full Speed Automotive. I absolutely loved the former owners and brought my car here for probably 5-6 years or more. Never a problem and I always enjoyed the friendliness and the high level of service letting me know what needed to be done and not just trying to sell me something. Let's just say you couldn't make up what happened to me here yesterday. I would not ever step foot in this place again. If you want to private message me as to what happened I would be willing to share but it's so unbelievable I wouldn't even begin to write it here. Just take my advice and steer clear of this place and the current owners. I stopped by to get a routine state inspection a month ago. The mechanic and his wife were amazing and so kind; he even took me back and showed me what was wrong with my car so I'd know he wasn't trying to scam me for a lot of money. There were so many issues with the car that I had no clue about. I bought it from a used dealership and they said everything was fine. The car battery was hours from exploding and looked *awful*. And the break fluid was black and rodents had pooped everywhere under the hood and chewed wires- I was so thankful for his help and he even let me come back 10 minutes later and fixed a problem with my aux port for free! I'm not in the best place financially and it genuinely made my night that he did this for me. The staff were also all friendly and happy to help and very patient when I had questions. The team here at Kwik Kar Lantana location was outstanding. I knew that my vehicle (Chrysler Town & country) already had know issues from the manufacturer (Fiat Chrysler) and was already been told by the dealership that this type of repair for Pentastar ticking noise is a known issue with FCA vehicles and is an expensive repair. I took my vehicle to known auto repair shops (not kwik kar related), and of course, many of them were in 'sales mode' (by giving me a giant list of unnecessary repairs that did not address the problem). Luckily, this kwik kar Lanatana was the 3rd shop that I visited and the front service advisor (Mary) was very helpful, and kindly checked with the mechanics (Chris, Linch). The mechanics both pointed out the known issues/ faults of the vehicle (camshaft / lifter ticking due to improper oil change intervals at 5,000 miles), and provided a possible remedy to help reduce further damage on the minivan. Mind you, this is the first place that I ever got to speak to a mechanic, so I was very pleased and I asked him the necessary questions and he gave his honest feedback. Not only that, this is the only place where I have seen the service advisor (Mary) actually doing multiple tasks all at the same time (answering phones, collecting keys from the customer, pulling cars into the service bay, topping off fluids, changing wiper blades, handling customer receipts and payments ) which is fantastic IMO. Mary is a very hard worker, and very knowledgeable and always keeping the customer up to speed for any questions/ request changes, etc. (On other auto repair shops, the service advisors only stay at or near their desk area and work, or playing with their cell phones). I have only been in once since the ownership change and I told myself then, never again. But, all I needed this time was a quick inspection. I had just got my truck out of the shop for hail damage repairs and it is at the end of the month with registration expiring in a few days. What could go wrong? While I was waiting for my truck to be inspected I listened to one gentleman ask questions about how they came up with his total bill. He supplied the parts and they had already agreed on the labor cost. So as the counterperson was going over charges, the customer would say that just adds up to $XXX.XX right? What am I missing. And he was correct. Finally, the counterperson said, oh, there are some shop supplies and something else on the bill. I couldn't make out what that was. He asked to talk to someone but he wasn't available. He finally said I will call him later, paid the bill and left. Another customer was also getting an inspection on his truck and they came in and told him his middle brake light was out. They said they could replace it or fail him, his choice. The customer thought about it for a minute and said go ahead and replace it. Price or options were never discussed. (Just FYI, The previous owner would have asked the customer to come look at it to verify and discuss and gone in to a better discussion about it. ) Then I get called up to check out expecting a $7 inspection fee. But, guess what. It's $22 because my middle brake light is out. LOL I said no, that guys light was out, no one said my light was out. So, they went and got somebody and I started to explain that I just got it out of the shop, which included a new roof, he interrupted me and said, I can take it out but we would have to fail you on the inspection. I said it's not that big of a deal but 1) someone should have told me (the previous owner would have and I could have actually seen that it was out and told them that I just got it out of the shop and they would have looked at it with me to see if something was loose) 2.) I actually had one of the lights at the house 5 minutes from the shop because they come in 2 packs and had replaced the tail light a while back but was never given the opportunity to say it because the guy wanted to say but we would fail you instead of listening to me. 3) also I was charged 4 times what one of those costs retail. A 2 pack at oreillys is 7.49. I was charged 13.99 for 1 light. And 4) lastly, again, it was only 13.99, I was also in a time crunch so I was just going to let it go but a few minutes after I left I get a text asking for 5 star review. LOL. Wow! Kwik Kar has fallen! So sad. Used to be a reliable and easy place with awesome service. Used to go up at night. Drop keys in secure box and pick car up at noon. Secured box is unsecured. So I call the next day to make an appointment. No answer. So I leave a message. No call back. Call the next day. Can't leave messages anymore but at least it says they're open. Hey. It's a start. So I call early the next day. Same message. I've got to come to town anyway so I'll keep calling on the drive. 5 calls later, yup. No answer. Finally, I get there. Dying to find out what happened to such a great place. Well, I walk in. No one there but 4 unhappy clients. Two sitting. Two pacing. No manager. No cashier. Nada. Look out in the full bay and there's a rather large group of employees. Just hanging out. Shooting the sh!t with each other. Having a good time. Then I see it. Hasn't been cleaned in a long while.
