I agree that parking is ridiculously expensive. I work part-time and pay $82/month, which is expensive for downtown Toledo, Ohio. That said, the person that I see monthly for my payments is a very nice and friendly person. Today, I received a ticket for $20 because my monthly tag had expired (because our office flooded due to burst pipes... a sad story, but explains why I didn't pay monthly parking for February since we can't even work in our offices). When I presented it to him and explained the situation, he was very reasonable and we worked out a resolution agreeable to both. Yes, convenience is expensive but I appreciated the reasonable response from the person in the Kwik Parking Office today. Thank you! read more

Convenient and easy! I use them every time I'm downtown Toledo. Their lots are generally clean and well lit.

I've been working at the same place for time now and parking in the same lot. My shift 730a to 730p... this company ticked me 2 days in a row and I paid! The only option is the "early bird" which runs 6a to 6p. I paid for parking and still got ticketed At 630p. When I reached out to customer service, the representative was not listening to anything I had to say and replied by the "manager" that I have been getting luck for not getting more tickets after 6p. The manager was saying the tickets starts when you park. "well if I paid for a 12 hour block, why was I ticket??..." she continued to say "it doesn't work like that."... after she hung up the phone on me three times! I requested for a manager and she passed the phone to someone else and he told me that she was the "manager". So I requested to speak to whomever was in charge. the front desk receptionist then acted as if he didn't know his colleagues names and I couldn't speak to the head manager because he was in a "meeting", finally I was transferred to his phone me to leave a voicemail. still waiting to get a call back. Extremely unprofessional and frustrating. I did everything right and still ended up penalized. Completely unacceptable worst customer service and worst business operation ever! read more

Beware parking with them. Their Colton lot used a QR code to pay for parking for years. On the evening of 3/8. there were no signs out. Instead a machine was printing slips before the gate would open. After the Walleye game, everyone near me found a parking violation on their cars. When disputing, their customer service simply didn't care about the dispute and incorrectly lectured me that "Signs were out and have been for 3 years". Simply not true, and no finger lifted. I paid their fine. But frankly, I'm owed a refund of the difference between their $25 fine/fee and the $7.25 I owed for the parking AND an apology. read more

Make certain you do not park here. When we came up a few weeks ago, there was no parking lot attendant present either when we came in or when we left. What I did have when we left was an orange envelope indicating that I needed to pay $10 for parking, which is fine...but the rate goes up to $60 if you don't pay within five days. This is *not* clearly posted in the lot. So, essentially, this process is designed to make certain you pay the full amount. Rather than forgetting about it and ending up paying the full amount, please find a different place to park. I will say that the lady who helped me in the office was very nice. My problem is with the company and not her. read more

One star is generous. Not from the area, taking my small grandson to Imagination Station, looking for parking in shabby downtown Toledo. There's a parking deck! Pull in. I was waived past the ticket machine by a scary looking female who then barked at me "Five dollars." Okay. Hand her my debit card and another bark. "Cash only." Seriously? "How am I supposed to know that?" I ask. Final bark, "It's on the ticket machine." "Okay, but you waved me past the machine. Now wave me right on out of here." (The ticket machine is well into the drive going into the deck. No way to back out of there anyway.) Lesson? Avoid horrid looking, dog barking parking attendants and know where to park before you go. read more

This is the second time I have rented a lot for an event in downtown Toledo. I have never had an issue. The process is quick and easy and hassle free. It does not get 5 stars only because I don't think anything is perfect... 5 stars would be perfect. read more

I've been paying parking 2 weeks before each month and it was going smoothly until this month. They deactivated my swipe card and made me jump through all kinds of hoops before they would activate my card. I asked on the fax that I sent the documents if someone could give me a return call but no call was recieved. I then called and inquired if my fax was recieved and the person told me, yep, you're all set. I asked why no one called me and she acted like I hadn't done what I was supposed to do and I had just ammended the problem. I stated that I had not made the mistake and that I felt like an appology was in order. The office person stated, an appology for what? I stated, I paid and my card was deactivated. The officer worker responded, you didn't pay, your bank pays. She stated my check got shuffled in the wrong pile. No appology. This business has extremely poor ethics. read more

For 23 years, I have worked downtown and paid the exorbitant rates to Kwik Park to park my car on their unattended, open lot. Yes, I realize it is less than I would pay in NYC or Chicago -- but overall, Toledo prices are much, much lower than in bigger cities, while our parking rates are still high. But I've paid it, since I needed the convenience of having a place to park my car. No more. I'm done with Kwik Parking and their rudeness, mystifying parking rules, and shakedowns. As I said, I was a customer for 23 years. Over that time, with being gone on maternity leaves and vacations, I have paid them for a FULL YEAR that I did not use. This month, I was gone quite a bit and forgot to pay my monthly tribute. When I went to the office to settle up, I was told I could go on a waiting list for a monthly tag (which I have had since 1987), since I missed a payment. Nope. Not doing it. And I'm advising everyone to stay far, far away from their lots! read more

Monday night down on St. Clair St. Parked in the lot next to the "Durdy Burd". My Family and I walked into Pita Pit to get a "to go " order. We were in there 10-15 minutes tops. I get ticketed for parking in the "Durdy Burds" parking lot, with the only sign designating parking on the inside of the lot (Not visible from the street). If you want people to come downtown, I suggest a little common sense. A great deal of restaurants are closed on Monday, and the lot I was in was maybe a third full. The Only regret is I can't put "negative" stars.Here's to you Kwik lot attendant, that was probably hiding behind the dumpster waiting for just an opportunity. read more

This is a company engaged in shameful practices. They have taken away the jobs of the attendants, do not have any process for ensuring that invitees are treated equally and instead have arbitrary rules, ignoring paid receipts displayed in windows and use it to simply make more money for the company with threats of sending the exorbitant fines to collections. What happened to the principles of paying a fair wage to attendants (which you have not done for years) and helping the economy? It is only about the almighty dollar. I watched as people paid money for a machine that provided no change. nice way to cheat the consumer. One lady was short a quarter, and when she used the one I gave her the machine had timed out and would neither accept the quarter for her already paid space nor return the change, and she received no receipt. On the morning of 12/13/2014 I parked at the Huntington Downtown bank PUBLIC parking lot. My 13 yr old son had a hockey game at the Huntington Centre at 11 am. There was no signage or attendant on duty when we parked, but when we came out to leave he was setting up and had put out signage. After a brief discussion he called his supervisor and was told to take my ticket and tear it up. So on January 13th 2015 I get a Demand letter from an attorney out of Colorado!! for $60.00. The Attorney's phone system is the type that they never answer, and the retuned phone calls from them somehow go straight to voice mail. Very shaky!!! very rude So I call Kwik Parking and I am told that this is their company policy to have the attorney deal with this. I even described their employee who is still in their employ and she refused to verify my story by contacting this employee and his supervisor. BOTTOM LINE IS KWIK PARK IS NOT A GOOD NEIGHBOR, THEY ONLY ARE TAKERS. I WILL TELL EVERYBODY NOT TO SUPPORT A COMPANY WITH NO SOUL. read more
