I scheduled a haircut with Xavier, got there 15 mins early, but luckily he was free and sat me right away. Super cool guy and got me fresh before I head out to a wedding! Turns out they show UFC fights here, have events with DJs, and there's a bar smack in the middle of the shop. Overall very cool place and I'll be back for my next cut, and maybe some drinks too

I scheduled a blind appointment with Xavier at Vintage Barbershop and it exceeded my expectations. Xavier provided amazing customer service and I found out from talking to him seems to be an outstanding young man as well. I've found my Barbershop and my barber when I move to the island here shortly. I HIGHLY recommend you support their services if you're in the area.

He took his time, paused at certain points to have me check his work. Meticulous and precise he started up top w/ scissor work, combing, measuring snipping; really taking his time. Moving to the clippers, he was just as careful and line things up nice, taking 10 years off my old head! da Service: building has very little street parking, but does have a robot parking structure, supported by Valet; w/ validation, only $4!! No way you get that in Oakland. Penthouse HNL is on the 3rd floor, smooth check-in, already paid when booked online, super easy. I was a little scared, it was all young "kids" working; I'm not quite looking to be K-pop star. But Jaden had the sensibility to gauge what I was looking for and still bring me up to date a bit. Will look for this spot on the next visit... and much mahalos to Jaden for helping me "keep the old man out"

Booked online for a haircut and 30 mins shoulder massage. From literally opening the door I was greeted by Sayuri. Didn't even ask my name but took me back and introduced me to Eikoh. We walked through how I typically get my haircut and we were set. Haircut is great, it's been a week and not regretting the price. The 30 minute head, neck, shoulder massage was unreal. So relaxing and I didn't want to get up. Eikoh is an amazing stylist and you can see his passion come through.

I have never been disappointed, and I am so glad I found Matthew and Mojo. Matthew's process is of the highest quality and is very consistent. Each haircut begins with a confirmation of my desired hairstyle. If I have any questions about barber terminology or potential changes, Matthew always explains things clearly and concisely. He is extremely professional while also being super down to earth. His haircuts are incredibly relaxing. So much so that I often find myself falling asleep in his chair. At the end of each haircut, he provides a handheld mirror to review the haircut and also offers product to style in case I am heading out somewhere after. I cannot recommend Matthew enough! And make sure you drop him a nice tip. :)

I recently visited this barber shop with high hopes, equipped with a reference photo for the specific haircut I desired. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. The stylist completed the haircut quite quickly, giving the impression of a rushed job that lacked attention to detail. Despite providing clear instructions, the final result was vastly different from what I requested. It's disappointing when a barber doesn't take the time to truly listen to and fulfill a client's needs. read more

I will go to no one except Ky. Since I'm in the public eye I want my hair to look as good as possible. I've been with Ky since his days at Ala Moana (Tom's). I've been getting haircuts from Ky since he was working at Thom's at Ala Moana Mall before it closed down. Ky has great relationships with all his customers and is extremely professional.
