I went into the Kyle ER after being sick for a week and trying to get over it myself. They were ready for me before I had finished filling out my paperwork. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Their first priority was to get me comfortable and because I had had a difficult time breathing due to my asthma they instantly got me a breathing treatment. I hadn't felt that goo for 6 days. Dr Campbell for me rehydrated and a script for some strong antibiotics. I felt like a new person the next day. You can tell that they know what they are doing. This business is a scam! Yes the staff is friendly, the place is clean and comfortable. HOWEVER ... the cost of care and the refusal of their billing department and their patient advocate to provide me with information about the unbelievable charges is more than frustrating. I finally received ONE of TWO requested itemized statements in which multiple bogus charges for supplies, care and equipment that was NEVER used still remains unexplained or taken off my bill. The cost of care is far from customary (one example - $423.23 for a Tetanus vaccine and $1,492.34 for the "emergency room" and $1,193.64 for the physician) and the reason they do not accept Medicare is because they can not and will not be certified by Medicare - therefore exempted from following Medicare rules and regulations. I am a RN of 29 yrs experience and know exactly what care was provided and the bogus charges is nothing short of fraud! AND FYI - they do not even belong to nor have they registered with the BBB. Those giving this establishment high marks obviously haven't received their fraudulent charges prior to their reviews. Beware of this scam!! read more

I have mixed feelings about this "health care" facility. Last week I paid a visit & I had the flu, per the doctor. He prescribed a severe cough medication with codine & Tamiflu & Allegra D but NOTHING WORKED because I came back today. So, after the doctor reviewed last week's notes, she said she would have never prescribed what the other doctor suggested and gave me another prescription & asked that I fill the inhaler that I didn't grab last time. I mean, I'm not made of money, these visits are costing me an arm & a leg and then some. I'm not impressed so far but it's the only conveniently located relief establishment. read more

Dr.dadouch is brilliant and has helped me find peace for the first time in many years through correct medications. The facility was clean, comfortable, and went that extra mile. Jason and Vanessa both made sure I was okay and checked on me all through the night....and so much more. They went way above their jobs and talked to me and took my anxiety seriously. I've been to many facilities and this was BY FAR the best. The rooms were five star. And the staff was ten star. If you're questioning yourself.... just make the step and go here. Dr. Ou has a very rude and cocky bedside demeanor. If you're not a dying patient on the table, you're treated like you're a bother. He acted too busy and bothered by questions and concerns during my er visit in Kyle. I felt like a burden and just another number to be rushed out. He did not explain the tests that were run on me and wasn't interested in anything I had to say. I cried most of the time I sat there alone in the bed with no answers. I over heard him doing this with the patient, separated by curtain, next to me. If and when I ever need to go to Kyle er again, I will call ahead to make sure he is not the treating doctor that day. Horrible. I would leave him zero stars, but I had to put one to write this. read more

Even with insurance, this place is *very* expensive for what you get. According to my insurance company, I can expect a $2,200 bill from Kyle ER shortly for all of the stuff that insurance would not cover. They did a strep throat test, give me a Tylenol, a shot of steroids, and prescribed some additional medications for me to order at my regular pharmacy. Nothing that should be anywhere near this cost. I really wish I would have known this beforehand. I knew it would be more expensive and was prepared for a larger-than-normal copay, but I didn't realize that the overall bill would be two orders of magnitude more than my regular primary care doctor. Now I understand why their parking lot is so empty. read more

Amazing service! Go to Seton ER only if you have to, it is a terrible place, terrible service, nurses and doctors. Kyle ER behind the Target is hands down the best ER I've ever been to (a low bar, yes, but still). Had a laceration due to a bike spill, couldn't have had better, faster, more complete care. It is NOT an Urgent Care facility, you will pay emergency room cost. But when you need to go to the emergency room this is the place. Highest recommendation! read more

I took my son here for severe stomach pain/constipation. They didnt take an xray or ct scan. He told them he threw up black stuff while there. They said it was probably the chorizo burrito he had for breakfast. I took him to his normal doc the next day as he was still so miserable. She took x-rays before she even saw him and discovered a intestinal blockage that could have killed him. Every medical professional I talked to and mentioned the trip to this E.R. with absoloutley no help on their part, just rolled their eyes when they found out where we had gone. My son could have died from this condition. Thank god he is okay thanks to his normal M.D. Do not take yourself or anyone else for that matter here. It is RIDICULOUS and in no way an E.R. In fact, if you drive by right now, half the sign that says emergency , is covered in black plastic. FOR GOOD REASON. Looks like someone found their fake hospital E.R. out and made them stop false advertising and risking lives. read more

Took my child in for a deep cut on his leg and Dr.Dupont and her staff were awesome. They were patient and extremely professional about the whole process. Do not go to this facility if you are suffering in any way and Dr. Donna Campbell happens to be on call. I went in with pain that was severe, have two chronic, painful medical conditions, and had a flare up of one that left me in tears. She would only offer medicines that I had current prescriptions for and felt it was "unethical" to offer any pain medications. She is patronizing, judgmental, and smug. Interestingly enough, she is also a current Texas State Senator who was elected on a faith based, Christian platform. I wonder how ending the suffering of a person who he was in a position to help would fit into Jesus' code of ethics? read more

I had a terrible experience with Seton Hays in Kyle, TX. Starting with the day I went to the ER, it has been frustrating and disappointing. Overworked, impatient nurses were my experience the day I visited. The billing department (which is located in another state) gives varying answers to your questions depending on which representative you talk to. I filed a dispute because there were two charges on my itemized bill for drugs that I hadn't received, according to the medical records that I picked up from the Seton Hays ER. After almost 4 months, hours of phone calls (I waited 45 minutes on hold one afternoon for a supervisor of billing), when they refused to remove these charges, I filed a formal complaint. Within a month, I received a certified letter in response. The date of the response letter is dated before I even filed the formal complaint. My name is spelled incorrectly on the letter. The date of my ER visit is incorrect. It's the wrong day, wrong month, wrong year. I don't feel confident that my individual case has been reviewed. The codes and costs on the itemized bill I received were: INJ IV INIT/SNGL DRUG - $620.25, and INJ IV ADDL SEQ DRUGS - $351.75. To me, the patient, not a medical professional, those charges appear to be for drugs. Now, in the certified letter, they have worded those two drug charges, totaling $972.00, as being for "administration and supervision" of the drugs, and therefore not actual charges for drugs. I have spoken to the hospital's patient advocate many times. She is polite, but unable to make me feel resolved about all of these issues with my visit to Seton Hays. I cannot recommend this hospital to anyone. Their processes are broken and they've made it clear that they're more interested in my pocketbook than me as a patient. read more

I was sick a month ago & went on yelp to look for an ER in Kyle other than Seton. After looking at the positive reviews I decided to go here. I asked about the cost when I was being admitted, but was told they couldn't give me any pricing information. Not even a ballpark figure? That's when I should have left... I was in a nice room being seen by 2 nice nurses within 5 minutes of arriving. I was then seen by a nice female doctor who ordered IV fluids & blood work. I saw the doctor 2 more times over the course of my 3 hour visit. She sent me home with a prescription for 2 antibiotics & an anti nausea medicine. I was told they would call me the next day to check on how I was doing, but never received any call from them. Fast forward 3 weeks when I get a bill for over $4250!!!! Shock & disappointment was followed by anger a week later when the doctor billed me for over $900 for her services????? So a 3 hour cost here costs $5K. Needless to say I will never come here again & I will tell everyone I get a chance my story & recommend they do the same. My out of pocket with my insurance (deductible already met) was over $1000 & I have excellent insurance. Good doctors & nurses here, but avoid due to crazy expensive prices. read more

I have been to this emergency center once before to get covid tested and they were great and super helpful. However, I went for a second time with a friend, and it was a terrible experience. When we called the main phone number to inform our arrival, the lady on the phone seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. She called back twice to get the same information I had already told her before. She claimed that it would take about an hour until we could be insisted. However, after about 10 minutes she called again wondering where we were parked. After that ordeal, we arrived at the center to get our tests taken. The man who was testing was very stern and rude. When he tested us, he had no concern as he shoved the stick very far up our nose in a rough manner. It was actually very painful and I promise I am not exaggerating. After the test was over, I felt pain in my nose for at least 30 minutes. About 45 minutes after I took the test, the man called saying my test was insufficient and I needed to come back to retake the test. My friends test was fine though. He shoved the stick roughly up my nose, yet somehow did not receive any results from my test, which is ridiculous. A few hours after going to the center, my nose still felt very uncomfortable and I had a minor headache on the side of my head that was tested. I blame the man for being so unconcerned with how he took the test. It is the next day, it has been about 13 hours since, and my friend JUST NOW received her results (which is negative). Whoever was working at this center on 09/23/20 between the time of 6:30-8:30pm, did an awful job. I definitely won't be returning to this location ever again. read more

Visited this ER a few nights (12/29) ago due to a blown blood vessel in my throat. Doctor was great and RN Mysti was fantastic. Would visit again based on interactions, got tested for strep and flu which was to be expected then told about the blood vessel. Facility was very clean and well maintained. My only concern is when I talked to the ladies at the counter about the costs and one of the ladies looked scared when I asked about cost and told me I would get a bill in 30 days, seeing all the reviews I am really hoping most are false and it wont cost me 3000 dollars for 50mL of viscous lidocaine (~7.50), 3 recommended prescriptions (which were not filled), 20 minutes of a doctors time and nearly two hours sitting in a room. read more

I will give them one star because the employees at the facility provided good care. I did something very stupid and touched a log that rolled out of a fire, probably thanks to liquid courage. When I got there they immediately saw me they made a bowl of ice water for me to put my hand in since I had been drinking they would not administer any pain meds. They were able to administer a shot in my butt for pain. They wrote me two Scripps gave me some paperwork for how to look after my burn and sent me on my way. Three months later I received two bills totaling $5000, 1000 of which I was responsible for after my insurance company had already paid them Around $4000. No special equipment was used I was not brought back to life from death and there was no lab work. Someone looked at my hand gave me a bucket of ice water and a shot in the butt for that they charged me over $5000. I would have taken a further Uber to Seton or any other Hospital if I had known the out rages price gouging done at this facility. I would encourage you to not go here unless it is a life or death situation. I will never be back God willing. I see this as preying on people in their time of need. After speaking with someone on their advocacy team I was able to get my portion down to 250. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about this outfit. After a defective firework slammed into my leg, causing a "gunshot-style" projectile wound, my neighbors suggested Kyle ER. After filling out a quick form, I was directed to sit and wait. About 2 seconds after sitting down, my name was called, and I was placed in a bed in the exam room. Then the employees pounced on me. Doctor comes in, takes a look and leaves. Nurse comes in, irrigates wound and leaves, anaesthesian comes in, shoots anaesthetic into wound and leaves, doctor comes in, applies staples to wound and leaves, nurse comes in, bandages wound and leaves, nurse comes in, gives Tetanus shot, and leaves, dude comes in, has me sign papers, then I leave. Bam. Bam, Bam, a battery of medical care one after another in lightning-fast order. Very professional, very friendly, and they actually listened to me. Kyle ER is Aces in my book. read more

From the moment I walked back to have the nurses look at it, they had me laughing and feeling at ease. Nurse Jenn G and Rena S. were the best, most accommodating nurses/doctors I've ever had. I came into the Kyle ER to receive treatment for respiratory symptoms. I talked with the doctor briefly who agreed that I likely had influenza. He ran no tests and did only a limited exam by listening to my lungs. He called in two prescriptions to my pharmacy and I left. I was subsequently billed for a $1500 moderately severe ER visit. My insurance paid $1000, which I felt was extremely generous, but apparently not enough for the owners of this clinic because they continue to bill me for the balance. When I inquired about the bill and what all was included, the "patient advocate" said this is the standard "facility fee". When I asked why my case was labeled as moderately severe, she said that was the doctor's diagnosis. The level of severity is not a diagnosis and furthermore if I was moderately severe why didn't I require more treatment or even observation before being briefly examined, no diagnostic tests run, and sent out the door. Caution: This is a racket! read more

The overall rating of this facility should be nothing less than five stars. The facility is very clean, staff is amazing, and I got seen in less then 10 minutes after checking in. I went to their ER last night with intense abdominal pain. My nurse Jennifer was probably the best nurse I have ever had, she took her time to reassure me and explain everything to me in terms that I would understand. Angela another nurse started my IV, and literally got that thing in faster then I could blink my eye with no pain. The doctor (I cannot remember her name) a younger blond woman spent at least 10 minutes in the room talking with me and asking me questions, she had a great bedside manner! I don't know about you all, but anytime I have ever been to an ER I never see the doctor for more than 30 seconds.If you use their services you will not be disappointed. Aside from some negative reviews I read on Facebook about Kyle ER and the High ER charge, I took my son in anyway. He had a high fever, and cough, so I was thinking Flu. Soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile. Signing in was very easy and Angela had explained they charge ER rates so I wasn't hit with any unexpected charges. Checking in was quick, and my son and I were called back. Nursing staff was very nice and explained that with my son's symptoms, they would run a flu and Strep Test. The Doctor came in and examined my son and was also very nice. Luckily the test came back negative, and explained to me to treat his fever and keep an eye on if his symptoms worsen. I was given my discharge paperwork and was on my way. By the next day his fever was down and his symptoms were improving. Lastly, I would like to say my overall visit was nothing like what I read on Facebook. The staff was great and I would recommend Kyle ER to family and friends! read more
