I just got called by this company and I haven't ever done business with this company, the lady was very unprofessional making threats and demands, was demanding I give information on people I had no idea who they were. Kyle Foster is my go-to auction guy! With a focus on late 1800s and early 1900s (but they sell it all) they do a great job with great results. i have ALWAYS been 110% one of biggest fans of KF Auctions. Great selection, well above average quality of items. And what I really thought were some of the best and most genuine people I know anywhere. Recently I wrote a review where I questioned 1 aspect, and was SEEKING clarification from them. Even said "Hmmm. I have 30 days to change my Yelp review.., and as I really like the place I hope somehow my trust can be restored." EVEN THOUGH I HAVE HEARD NOTHING - until couple days ago. I thought I properly clarified all was well & I love them and their auctions. Right after I did that I went through a tragedy and got pretty injured, and predisposed for from Wed eve, y'day, and until after 5 hour drive back w/ injury today it's as if they wanted to see how fast they could ruin much good will. I couldn't and can't believe how they callously blow off what I thought was WAS VERY FINE AMENDING and ignore the situation 110%. That hurts the "genuine" aspect as this was the opposite of understanding.., but I make mistakes and jump to conclusions too. So resume all enjoyment of one of the top auction houses and weekly auctions in the Metro. read more

I have been doing business with Michelle and Kyle for awhile now, both buying and selling and have been generally pleased with them and the rest of their staff. Since they have gone online with their auctions, they have a lot more bidders than many of the other auctions in Dallas and so that is a blessing when I am selling the right items for their audience. When I am purchasing they do a great job finding high quality items, and the only time I have not been 100% pleased was my own fault for not previewing as closely as I should have. Addressing some of the other comments, both Kyle and Michelle have always been professional and friendly in my personal experience with them. They are good folks! read more

They claimed they would send item trough UPS. Item not sent, and yet they charged me for the item and claim it has been forfeited due to not being picked up. They are a total scam and rip-off. Avoid. Do not buy from them online, and expect the item to be sent - as advertised. read more

The auctioneer, Kyle Foster, was extremely unprofessional and rude to me. I simply questioned why his invoice amount was different from the actual charge to my credit card (The invoice I was sent listed sales tax charges, so I followed up with Mr. Foster, by e-mailing a copy of my Sales and Use Tax Permit, just in case he might need it for verification and to have the charges removed). Although the charge was roughly $1 less than the invoiced amount, it was more than I understood, at the time, it should be, since no follow-up invoice or e-mail was sent explaining the difference. I was trying to understand the difference, still, as I must account for all expenditures for my small business, for tax purposes. I asked him when should I expect a reimbursement for (what I believed to be) the tax charge and sent him a screen-shot of the charge. His response, "Please see there is no tax on the invoice. Please read our terms and conditions of the credit card fee. Thanks", then immediately followed up with "I honestly don't know how else to explain that you were not charged sales tax." Again, I was trying to understand the charge since it was not 100% clear what I was being charged for, in addition to the charge for the auction items. When I asked him to provide a receipt or an invoice that shows the actual charge (a 3.99 percent CC fee, that I was charged, was not reflected on the invoice), so that I may add to my records, his response, "Auction flex software doesn't have a option to add the credit card fee. Please use your credit card statement for your records. Thanks". I have not had this issue with other auctions houses and other auction houses have quickly accommodated my requests. I replied by thanking him for his time and that I would be leaving a review of his auction. His response, "Your ridiculous lady". He continued with threatening messages and blocked me from bidding with auction house (a notification was sent to me of his action). I do NOT recommend this auction house and will never do business with them, again. read more

Top level professionals I have attended many auctions over the years, and it goes without saying this place is as good as it gets. I never fail to find quality and value at their auctions. This operation is run by a husband and wife team. He is the auctioneer and she runs the office. Over the many visits I have had the opportunity to speak with them and they have always been helpful with questions, or assist me in finding the particular piece I am looking for. Beware - this business does not take their customer's well being and health seriously in regards to Covid. I purchased a few items from an auction and when I went to pick up the items the cashier sitting indoors was not wearing a mask. I did not feel comfortable going inside to pay. I pointed out she was not wearing a mask - she made an excuse and told me I should stay home if I was concerned about getting sick. I will not be doing business with this company again. During this time when so many people are getting sick and dying - wearing a mask is the least you can do out of respect for your clients and fellow citizens. read more

Kyle Foster's does a great job of running inventory that is both interesting and of high quality; I always look forward to seeing what unique items they will have to offer. The staff's knowledge of antiquities is very board and deep; I've always found the catalogs to be well articulated and accurate. You can certainly buy with confidence. I have been attending this auction for 15 years especially since kyle has been auctioneer. I have never found that the merchandise has been called wrong since all auctions are as-is!. The staff has always been absolutely great and friendly. I would recommend this auction to any serious estate antiques buyer, the quality is exceptional and any real buyer would know this. As far as Kurt V. of Dallas, his review was completely uncalled for and untrue!. Kyles wife is co-owner of this family business and does run the show as she should!, anyone that knows her will testify to her friendliness and knows that she will go out of her way to help customers any way that she can. If I could leave less stars I would! Kyle Foster is quite the rude individual. I purchased an item through an auction. Almost 20 days later I ha e to ask for a refund as the shipping company they used never contacted me nor answer their phones. I had previously contacted them about shipping to be told ups had picked it up. They just didn't call. I received an email saying that my item was being forfeited without any previous contact from UPS. I emailed Kyle to ask for a refund since my item was being forfeited at no blame to me. Ups finally called with outrageous shipping price for a small piece of glass. I told them that I would call for quotes and get back to them. They said they would put a not me in for me. I then got a rude email from Kyle saying I refused to pay. I emailed him back telling him what had expired only for him to continue sending rude emails. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY. Kyle Foster's employee/wife is rude, obnoxious, condescending, and needs serious anger management treatment and customer service training. After buying almost $500 worth of items in an online auction ending on Friday night, we paid immediately and picked our stuff up on the next business day (Monday). It was Mothers Day weekend. However, we received a call from Kyle's wife on Saturday which was a matter of a few hours after the Friday night auction. She was furious that we hadn't been there to pick up our stuff immediately and began to berate my wife in no uncertain terms and threatened late charges. Very very unprofessional and really stupid for a employee to talk to what had been a loyal customer in that manner. We won't go back. There are lots of other auctions in the area. We would rather do business with people who appreciate our patronage. read more

Michelle Foster is the biggest crook in Dallas. These people will take your furniture and give it away. When you ask for documentation such as a contract or sales receipt, they will tell you "you can just shove it up your a..!" Don't let these people touch so much as a worn out mop to sell for you! Do not waste your time bidding online with these guys! I bid online because the actual auction space is filthy. More often then not, I lose to floor bidders by ridiculous $2.50-$5.00 increments... even when your bid matches realized bid they actually give it to a floor bidder. They don't pay attention. They need to stay out of the online business... bad reputation. read more
