The food was better than anticipated, but the service was just okay. It was one of those places that was good, but probably won't return. The crab rangoon was good, but not the best I ever had. They did have plenty of cream cheese inside though. The misosaurus ramen was delicious. Spicy, but not making you sniffle. The only thing I wish they did was put a knife in the utensils or cut the pork smaller. It was soft, but not soft enough to pull apart with a fork or spoon. The spicy shredded chicken was actually delicious. Very flavorful! The size of the bowl was rather large and I ended up bringing leftovers home. The tonkatsu was also good and spicy! It was a bit more expensive with it coming to just shy of $40 before the tip. Not quite sure the bowl was worth $16 each. You can customize the bowls too, but that's $1-5 more. I paid a bunch of money for extra toppings, and when I got my food from the delivery service, it had none of the toppings I paid for. and of course since it was through a food delivery app, the app wouldn't provide me with a refund. Came close to leaving 1 star, but the food actually mostly tasted good. There are many inconsistencies here....first off, the service was lacking. They were out of what I originally ordered and another item was suggested that the waitress said was 'pretty good'. She was right. It was only 'pretty good' and expensive too. The kids menu doesn't have prices on it and when we got our bill it was $11 for not a lot. My wife got her ramen dish and it was quite small and un-filling. The eggs were raw and she asked for them to be cooked more. We waited and got new eggs that were still raw and runny. Oh and we had to wait for our silverware for quite a while after getting our food. Everything is way too expensive for the amount you get along with the lackluster service. We left still hungry and out over $70. They should've offered us some thing off but no we got full price. They did apologize at one point telling us that 'the kitchen is stressed' but honestly there weren't that many people in the restaurant. Lastly, we had our baby with us who needed to be changed and they had no changing table in the bathroom. When asked if there was any spaces in there that we could use, someone told us that we could just use one of the empty tables in the restaurant!! What the??? Simply Amazing. I had the Flames Ramen. It was delicious with just the right amount of heat. The meat was very tender and flavorful. The quantity of food versus the flavor had me struggling - definitely full before it was gone, but so good I didn't want to stop. I found the price to be more than fair as well. This was my first visit, but had been to the previous restaurant in this location numerous times. When I walked in, I was amazed at the renovation. Very nicely done, clean and inviting. The staff were very friendly and prompt in greeting us. They were also patient with our questions about what to order - again since it was our first visit. We got our order to go and it was packaged very well and clearly marked on the containers when we got home. Also, the broth was packaged separately from the other ingredients so everything was fresh when put together. I can't wait to go back and explore the menu further. Sorry to say but must be the worst ramen I've ever had. It's hard coming from CA, probably even harder finding a ramen shop in KY. I tried to go healthy and ordered the veggie tantanmen but the soup broth tasted like cheese. My husbands tonkatsu broth was really thin and lack sustenance. First and foremost, they have moved to their new location at 801 Campbell Ln. I accidentally found Simply Ramen after a pilgrimage to Corvette Museum near by. It was such a nice surprise. I really enjoyed their ramen. I found their ramen to be delicious with reasonable price and excellent service. I picked Miso Ramen and asked for extra egg and corn. I should have also asked for extra broth, because their broth was delicious. I will definitely return to Simply Ramen when I visit the Corvette Museum again. The servers and atmosphere were nice! They are playing pop music and anime on the TV. The place was clean. Food-wise, we ordered the bulgogi musubi, the gyoza, and the spicy chicken bao. The spicy chicken bao was pretty okay. There was too much kewpie mayo, but the bun itself was very good! The chicken was okay. Onto the bulgogi musubi, I thought it was pretty okay. The spam was nice and crispy. The bulgogi was flavorful, but not our thing. There was a lot of rice in proportion to the musubi-bulgogi-rice ratio. The gyoza, while crispy, were bland. They had very little flavor. The ponzu sauce was okay. It was all you could taste on the gyoza. Ramen-wise, my boyfriend got the spicy miso ramen with a spice bomb on the side and I got the spicy chicken ramen. The miso was okay. Alone, it had some spice, but it wasn't a lot. My spicy chicken broth was better. Putting in the spice bomb made it more paletteable. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the chicken. The shredded chicken feels unseasoned and like it's tossed in the spicy sauce afterwards. It doesn't seep into the chicken well. The chicken also had a dryness to it. The noodles were well-cooked. Flavorful, great atmosphere & friendly staff! This is my first time eating traditional ramen. I stated such when Ashley and Toby began working with my order. I arrived around 6:40pm on a Wednesday - the restaurant was not very busy - I arrived at the right time, because as my food was prepared and served, the establishment became evidently busy. Speed of service was great, and staff were very welcoming as well as answering my questions by providing their recommendations. I saw the Musubi and immediately had to try - DELICIOUS - I had my first Musubi roll in Hawaii last fall and this is the only place in Bowling Green that I am told that sells the delicacy. :) I ordered the Peppercorn Chicken Ramen (spicy side of things) in addition to the musubi. Firstly I am from Hawaii and recently from California where I know the difference in ramen noodles Secondly the noodles were so mushy like paste, eggs were cold and the broth was room temp and we didn't eat it. UNEATABLE Thirdly we were clearly upset and the owner Rob Sparkman gave us 15%off our bill. Finally I have owned cafes and restaurants and if a customer was that upset... I would COMP them! I forget the name of the ramen special today but it was really good. The broth was very rich. My server was very helpful. The negatives: I was charged 50 cents for Sriracha...dining in...what? Beware, there is a 3.99% charge for not paying cash... what? It would have been nice to know that ahead of time! Will I be back when I'm in town? Probably not. Such a cute restaurant and great, attentive staff. I tried the gyoza, chicken ramen and piña colada ice cream. All were yummy. The gyoza had a great flavor. The ramen was great. It had these carmelized onions that gave it this rich flavor. I ended up taking half of it home as I needed room for the ice cream. Speaking of that... this was a huge scoop of piña colada flavored goodness served on a bed pineapple. All in all.. very good addition to the Bowling Green food scene. read more

this was one of the worst bowls of Ramen I have ever eaten in my life. It was comedically bad actually. Prob should have not ordered after bao bun app came with wet iceburg lettuce and what looked like a shredded fried chicken strip on obviously frozen premade baos. I dont remember exactly what ramen I got but it wasnt ramen. it was just some bland broth with wack noodles and it was sooo expensive for what you got. Decided to give them a second chance at their new location. I was stopped by a handfull of off duty cops in bullet proof vest open carry to check my ID. I went midday mid work week, it was slow here, quiet, a proper atmosphere for Ramen Traditionally. I ordered the Musubi, pork Gyoza, pork buns, and the house special MisoSaurus. I havent had asian cuisine in likely more than a year and this meal borderline brought tears to my eyes. The food exceeds all of my expectations for a place called "simply ramen" Staff was very attentive, and friendly, a good place to introduce your friends to traditional Ramen. Only complaint I have is that they don't give you enough broth and make you pay 6 extra dollars for very little "extra". Simply Ramen was simple. The parking looked about equal to the seating though it does share a parking lot with several other places so don't use that to judge how busy the restaurant is. We went on Sunday evening and while it wasn't packed there was a steady flow of customers. Our server was great, he was fast and checked in a few times to make sure we still had everything we needed. I was a bit uncomfortable at times with the staff talking about employee things within earshot. We were at the back and did over hear about other tables and complaints etc. But I believe this is a more personal pet peeve. Now let's get to the food. While the food was good it was fast. Not in that wow they cooked this fast kind of way but in the oh they had these precooked and rewarmed kind of way. But still it was good. Personally for their price point I think the food could be better. It wasn't wow, it wasn't bad but it was alright. I did appreciate that they had a menu for vegans and vegetarians. This definitely made me feel better about eating somewhere as a vegetarian. The bao buns are made out of rice flour, and ours had impossible veggie meat and sauce with some lettuce. I really did like this dish, I thought the sauce was good, but be prepared for a soft yet slightly chewier bun then you might be used to. My husband did find his to be a bit too salty, but I think thats due to a lot of pre-prepared ingredients. I liked mine a lot, I got it with a chili oil and found the profile quite refreshing. Overall I would say this is one of my second chances places. It wasn't bad enough for me to never go there again, I feel it needs a second chance to get a higher score.
