I personally believe their "Dragon Roll" to be the best thing out of everything I tried. The service was pretty decent, though with a buffet there's not much to service other than drink refills. First time going during a holiday for their AYCE crab legs with buffet. It was horrible. Smallest legs ever and the shell was soft which made it hard to crack the shells. The owner and Wait staff were rude. I brought my family there for Mothers day. The buffet was 29.95 a 10 dollar increase because it was Mothers Day, I had my 3 yr granddaughter with us, and when we questioned if we had to pay the 14.99 for her we were told as long as she did not eat, we were not to be charged. While we were seated the waitress kept staring at us, and was talking to the owner and then came over and stated that my granddaughter was eating, which was true, a very little from our dishes that we were eating from. When I questioned the waitress She had a attitude like she caught us stealing and was very rude. I told her That I would gladly pay the 14.99 it was just the principle of the issue as the child was only 3 yrs old. Moments later the owner came over and asked if there was a complaint and he was also very rude with attitude, and when i started to explain he rudely walked away. Myself and my wife go there every week to eat for years, but that will be the last time we give them our business. It was the principle not so much as the 14.99. I like the all you can eat with Godzillian items. This place have many selections. One thing for sure is their sushi section is good, but it can be better by adding more selections. The all you can eat bar has several section including the following. Sushi, hot food, cold salad, cold seafood, and dessert. The hot food is very good because it was fill up very quickly. I do not understand some of these negative reviews of this place. My wife and I were in plant City and stopped in for lunch. The staff was so friendly and nice. The service was awesome. The food was delicious fresh and hot. We used to go to a buffet in Apollo Beach. Will you not go anymore because of the service and the food went so far downhill. Next time we're in plant City we would definitely be stopping in here. When I cleanest nicest restaurants I've been in a while. This is outstanding buffet and you definitely should try it. read more

My wife and I were craving Chinese food. This place had the best reviews around so we tried it out. We enjoyed the meal but thought it was just ok. We placed our order online for pick-up and headed over. We were given about 20 minutes for the food to be ready and that's how far it was from us. Kyoto Palace is located in a plaza with a bunch of other things including a movie theatre. The plaza was pretty busy. Kyoto Palace is a sit-down Chinese place. They have waiter service and even a buffet that I think is closed due to the pandemic still. I walked in and there were a ton of orders waiting to be delivered or picked up. It was busy so I figured it had to be decent. Our order was all ready to go and we headed home. I ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice and my wife got the orange chicken with white rice. We also got a side of egg rolls. The food was hot and ample. A heaping serving of chicken over rice, covered in sauce. The sesame chicken had ok flavor but wasn't the best sesame chicken I have had. The fried was was also ok, again not super flavorful. My wife said the same about her meal too. Her orange chicken didn't have as much citrus as I expected or have had before from other places. The egg rolls hit the spot for me though. They were crunchy on the outside and filled with steaming hot veggies on the inside. I enjoyed these. We did have leftovers and saved it for lunch the next day. Unfortunately, this meal didn't reheat the greatest and wasn't as decent as it was the night before. All in all, it was an ok meal. I would be interested to sit down and eat here and see what that experience is like. The staff I encountered during pick-up were nice and the food was hot and packaged well. The flavor just wasn't there. I do feel since it is a frequented and busy location, the food turnover, and quality is better than some other random Chinese food places around town. This meal was ok. Sorry to be so blunt: I never write reviews but just had to because after me and my husband paid $18.95 each and $4.98 per soda $50 bill was way too much. it just was such a disappointment. unfortunately my prior 5 star review is no longer correct. today my wife and I went to dinner here which had always been her favorite place. she has mobility disabilities and wears braces on both of her legs. as we are being seated by the host she brought us to a very far seat and I requested to be instead placed at a seat closer to the buffet which there were many tables available. my request was denied twice..... under the explanation of "we seat by section, so no". this is a clear and direct ADA violation and an illegal act of discrimination against someone who is disabled. this occurred on 3/15/26 at around 6pm. I will be filing a report with the BBB in response. if there is any management reading this, I included the time and date so you can reference your schedule and insure that this person is removed from your staff and the remaining staff properly informed of ADA guidelines. this issue is valid grounds for a lawsuit and I hope that the next time I visit won't give me motivation to do so. you made my wife cry from the embarrassment of having to hold on to the wall to try and even get food. be grateful for my excessive patience, this response won't be the same if there is a next time. read more

The restaurant places smaller portions than some buffets. It ensure the food is fresh. They do not dump food into container already on the buffet, they replace it. The food is tasty, it is fresh, it is hot, and it is safely handled. I have never had a bad meal. My only disparaging remark would be the dessert section. I went with my Grandma and she just wanted a nice day out since my Grandpa passed away and she doesn't want to leave the house very often so I wanted to have a nice day out with her. -When we first entered, the hostess didn't smile and just pointed to our table without walking us there. -We had to wait for our waitress for ten minutes and when she showed up, she had a mouth full of food and could barely speak, nor understand English. -When my Grandma got her food, the plate was so small that the sauce was almost spilling off of the plate. -I ordered the Osaka roll and it was freezing cold and definitely the worst sushi I've ever had. Publix sushi is better than that was. -My Grandma got the orange chicken and it was hard for her to cut into and when she cut into it, it was mostly breading and hardly any chicken in it at all, and her fried rice was extremely bland. -No one came to check in on us to see if we were doing alright. -The waitress asked if we wanted boxes but we said no because the food wasn't good, and she just stood there looking at us with a blank stare for a moment and then walked away. -My stomach started hurting about five minutes after I started eating my sushi and I only had four pieces of it, and it wasn't even one of the spicy rolls. -About an hour later when I got home, I got very sick and ended up in the bathroom for 20 minutes and I've been running back and forth to the toilet all day, absolutely sick and miserable. No less than 15 DoorDashers came in while I waited. I noticed a bag sitting on the counter. It was for Joshua, well after being reassured several times that my food was coming out soon I continued to wait. I wish I hadn't paid when I walked in because I would have left but I was in for $100 worth of food. I waited an hour! They gave my food to someone else. Sure they came out and apologized and gave me free Thai teas but that didn't give me my time back. I felt like it warranted a little more than some teas. They seem to have wait staff issues as others were waiting a long time for food and were getting it and then taking it to go. We ordered the tempura onion rings ($4.95) and Tiger Roll($11.95), Big cobra roll ($12.95), Fancy Salmon roll ($11.95) and Snow Mountain Roll ($9.95) and a seaweed salad ($4.25). The wait was a bit longer than usual for the onion rings and the were true onions fried in batter so they were ok. The wait was a bit longer for the rolls to come out. We watched tables get their orders one or two then wait for others to come out. Fortunately ours came out together. Unfortunately we found that the rolls were just fair. None of them were great. Staff upon greeting you at the door are somewhat cold and uninviting. Seated quickly though. The ambiance is standard of a buffet. They offer a wide variety of Asian inspired dishes ..some good,some not. I tend to shy away from their sushi as it was NOT 'cold' and I was not in the mood for it and afraid it wouldn't agree w me. (I never swallowed it). Plenty of appetizers ( pot stickers, sautéed mushrooms, tempura shrimp, etc), veggies galore. Wonton broth and hot and sour soup. We wanted to try a bunch of things so we ordered a couple sushi rolls, appetizers and the hibachi lunch specials! Everything was absolutely delicious and so fresh tasting! The lunch hibachi was the perfect portion! The veggies were so fresh and delicious!! The shrimp and steak cooked perfectly and just enough to fill you up without needing a nap afterwards! The dumplings were so lightly fried that they didn't taste heavy at all. The dipping sauce added the perfect flavor and each bite made me want more! The prices are AMAZING. We probably ordered 5 things and our tab was only $30! We've gone back a couple times now and each time has been just as great! I really recommend stopping in if you're in the area. Very nicely refurbished and clean establishment. There website has options to place reservations or order your food online. I highly recommend going for lunch, as they have great deals. Prices are some of the cheapest around and the food quality is still amazingly fresh. This was our first time here and we ordered Carry-out. We got 2 sushi rolls (shrimp tempura and spicy salmon), 1 entree (Sesame Chicken), and an order of egg rolls (2 per order). The food was ready at the specified time, hot and the most important part, tasted AMAZING. I highly recommend coming here! Small portions- Big price: Placed an online delivery order. I would like their food to have better descriptions of what they are or made of. Over it was good. But the octopus balls are very mushy. And don't taste like octopus. The egg rolls a w descent as are the pork dumplings. But, Botha re small. The bourbon chicken on the sticks was mediocre. Not what you would think. The icing in the cake sort of speak is the "combo" fried rice. I think they feel it's worth it's weight in gold. Super expensive for fried rice and so plain. I am not a huge buffet person . With that being said this location is very clean , the food was good , and staff was nice . I was hesitant as I read they have a if you don't finish they charge but it's in regards to children more they said as they will fill up lots of plates and not eat them . The sushi was all very good . The fried sushi was good still crunchy but not hot when I had it but still edible and yummy . The egg drop soup was phenomenal . The salt and pepper shrimp was great .
