She took time to explain the whole menu, discuss preferences and checked in many times. She brought out our food so quickly and presented them with care. The food started to come out surprisingly fast. Entering the restaurant, there are nice hostesses and decor. We were seated promptly to a clean and pleasant environment. I really love the china ceramic. The extra details add on to the food and are surprising, given low cost of food. This experience is a good value and I'll be back to try the duck. There is only one duck item and it is half or whole duck with pancakes! The complimentary starters are fermented radish and carrot which i surprisingly enjoyed very well. Also, peanuts were offered. THE FOOD: POPCORN chicken 7/10. Good but average size and flavor. Typical but fresh tasting and thin crusted. May be full breast meat. SPARE RIB 9/10: very tasty, classic dish, recommend. LANGZHOU soup 8/10: tastes clean and pleasant. Could use more flavor so i added chili oil! Steamed BUNS 8.5/10: a unique experience with instructions if desired I could onlt describe a cannonball of flavorful hot broth as i ate one whole. SO glad we went here! Atmosphere? Great! Clean, modern and cozy ambiance. The staff were efficient and friendly. We waited about 10 minutes for a table on a Monday night! I imagine this place will almost always have a wait during dinner. (I think you can make reservations through their website though). We had not idea what to order, so we decided to order a bit of everything and share. Our server was very sweet and attentive. We were served quickly. We got pork and veggie steamed dumplings, fried potstickers, garlic style string beans, orange chicken, Mongolian beef and veggie stir fry noodles. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. When I say everything- even the peanuts and pickled radish they brought out when we sat down was amazing. EVERYTHING. They had three small square jars on the table, labeled 'dumpling', 'vinegar' and 'chili oil' -- so you could make your own dipping sauce for the dumplings and potstickers! I can't wait to come back! Wow! The ambiance is beautiful! This is a large Chinese restaurant. The owner checked on us regularly and the waitress seemed very happy. We tried their signature duck dish. It's presented in a basket with sliced cucumbers and 2 sauces: hoisin and duck sauce. We were told that it can take a while once you order it so be prepared. We tried both types of dumplings: the soup and the steamed. We also tried the spicy cucumbers, chicken & broccoli and beef lo mein. My absolute fave were the perfectly cooked garlic green beans. One of our favorite dumpling restaurants to go to. The service is always good the the food is phenomenal.

Okaaaay for a new restaurant that's been open for 6 days, they don't have a lot of kinks to work out. Three of us shared everything and we loved everything we had. There was not one plate we disliked and we had a wide assortment. Everything had great flavor. We had Truffle Soup Dumplings, Dan Dan Noodles, Hot and Sour Soup, Won Ton Soup, Scallion Pancakes, and Vegetable Dumplings. We ate almost everything. They also give you peanuts and Edamame for an app. Everyone was SO nice also. Two women (owners? Managers? One of each?). Great first experience with this new Chinese restaurant. Friendly server with some limited English skills. Enjoyed starting out with peanuts and radishes. The dumplings were very flavorful and we enjoyed being given a lesson on how to properly enjoy the dumplings. Great hot 'n sour soup. Some items were hohum but fun to try. We asked for orange chicken as a sautee, not a breaded fry, but they could not accommodate as chicken came already breaded. The remodel is nicely appointed. Seating is booths with a small bar in the back. Accessible entry is back door and sounds an alarm in front for service, unlocking. Prices for the duck dish are high, about $40, so will wait for a group of us who want to enjoy the splurge together. We look forward to trying many more dishes. read more

Food 10/10 highly recommend soup dumplings. We tried the chicken and pork with crab. Pork with crab was a little more fishy tasting than I like but if you're into that they are for you. Not pictured is the chicken fried noodles and orange chicken. Our server was Phillip and he was very attentive. Ambience was fun and light. I didn't feel rushed at all. Highly recommend you try the duck it does take time to prepare so I recommend making a reservation and pre ordering the duck. read more

The food here is amazing, which makes this review disappointing to write. My first visit was great -- delicious food, nice atmosphere, and attentive service. Unfortunately, my second visit was the complete opposite because of our waiter, Robert.He seemed more focused on other tables, took a long time to come back, and when I asked for a Coke he brought water instead and made a joke instead of fixing it right away. After that, he barely checked on us and never came back for refills.The food and ambiance are still great, but the service this time really ruined the experience. The Food was definitively 5 star worthy, the ambiance was really cool, but the service dropped this down to 4 stars. It was good, but when you are having dinner with friends, you don't want to feel rushed. Food came out quick, but so fast that you could not fully enjoy the appetizers because the meal was coming out on top of each other. I will be back, but advise to the owner.....slow the service down some. We don't want to feel so rushed that you make us feel that it is all about the money and getting us out within 30 minutes. read more

Warning: If you have a shellfish allergy, I would strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant. Our experience was frustrating from the start because we received inconsistent and inaccurate information about allergens. We were initially told that anything without shrimp or crab would be safe. However, after placing our order, we learned that many dishes, including all of the dumplings, contain shellfish despite this not being disclosed on the menu. It got worse from there. The Dan Dan noodles were listed as containing chicken, and our server specifically confirmed they were made with chicken. When the dish arrived, it contained beef instead. The server's solution was simply to ask if I wanted him to remove the beef from the dish because it doesn't actually come with chicken. After that, I ordered chicken fried rice, instead, only to find out that it also contains shellfish. I understand that accommodating food allergies can be challenging, and I don't expect every restaurant to be able to safely serve every dietary restriction. What I do expect is clear and accurate communication before ordering so guests can make informed decisions. Instead, we repeatedly discovered issues only after placing orders or after food arrived at the table, which left me with virtually nothing I could eat. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of any meaningful service recovery. There was little acknowledgment of the repeated misinformation and inconvenience caused by the situation. If your restaurant cannot safely accommodate shellfish allergies, that's understandable, but guests deserve to know that upfront, not after they've already committed to a meal. read more

So their name should be Duck (if you don't mind waiting an hour) and Dumplings. We stopped in to try it out specifically for the duck. The waiter said it'd take 20 minutes to an hour. We had him double check with the "chef" and they said an hour. You should have at least one duck ready. It's the first thing in your name. Also, you can't get a side of fried rice. So no duck. I tend to grade a Chinese restaurant on its Hot and Sour soup because it is one of the most difficult to make consistently. This was our first time here. This soup was the absolute BEST I've had not just in Lakeland, but in Florida. The seafood noodle soup was also excellent. Wife had the Wok fried Beef and Noodles. She loved it. A fantastic meal in this relatively new restaurant. Service by Sam was outstanding. The manager also made an appearance and was very friendly and professional. to be very honest the place is beautiful! but we felt very rushed we ordered our chicken wonton soup & crab rangoon's they were very good & we just wanted to relax & finish those but not even 5 minutes goes by & there bringing out are main course chicken fried rice : ( it was tasteless & hardly any chicken) ( veggie stir fried noodles & the broccoli was hard & that was tasteless) and the lg dumplings were very good ! all & all we most likely will not go back ! that's my opinion of this place but each to there own!
