    Fried Chicken Rice Burger
    Rose E.

For my latest road trip to Duluth with my husband, we stopped in here first thing for lunch at 11 am...only to discover that they're now open at 12 (not at 11 am). So we had to kill some time driving around. Once in, we got into the big, round booth that I loved from my first time here. This time, I ordered the Honeycomb Appetizer Special...and I loved every little thing in it! My husband tried this Rice Burger. I tried to coax him into trying the Eel Rice Burger, but he opted for Chicken Rice Burger...and he wasn't too into it. We also shared Edamame...and this amazing Matcha Pudding...possibly THE reason I keep coming back here?? It's just so perfectly light and tasty! Well, the other reason is that they have such an unusual menu, filled with Japanese specialties. My husband was impressed with the ambiance. I just love the wide, lofty space. However, we were a little disappointed in not seeing much of the robot waiter. In any case, this was a great start to our weekend trip in the Duluth (and the surrounding areas).

I tired the new GRILLED beef ramen and let me tell you don't let get it it's so disappointing the beef tasted boiled hurted my teeth I couldn't eat it

All the Halloween decorations are long gone and I missed the Christmas and New Years decorations, but the place still has that fun and interesting ambiance with the wishing tree. Always cool to see it decked out with all kinds of messages and drawings from customers! Loving the curry tonkatsu ramen. The tonkatsu is served on the side and is very crispy while still being deliciously juicy inside. The negima (chicken thigh & scallion) skewers did NOT disappoint- as usual! So flavorful. I went with amounts of the sauerkraut peppers as a bit of extra topping to the skewers which was nice. I also used a bit of shichimi togarashi on some of it. Delish! The curry ramen was so rich and creamy and curry-y. The extra noodles did to w trick to help me take out the whole bowl. I DEVOURED this meal. Good job chef! Thanks Chloe P. and all for the good service! "I'll be back" to terminate another bowl of this delicious ramen!

KYURAMEN is such a cool spot. My husband and I went here on New Year's Day and had a good time. We ordered a bunch of food to share--Yinyang Bowl, Classic Omurice, Shrimp Tempura, Purple Sweet Potato Fries, and Japanese Fried Oyster. I also got a Thai Iced Tea. The food was amazing. The ramen was definitely my favorite, but honestly, everything we tried was so good. My drink was delicious too. The vibe in the restaurant was chill--really clean, and they were playing throwback music like Usher, which was fun. Our server was great, super chill and attentive. Overall, we loved it here and can't wait to come back to try more. Highly recommend.

The place looks really nice, bright and filled with all wooden decors, it's nice that you can leave a little note and put it on the tree. The food overall was great, i even got a free dessert bowl (really good tactic). Our server was nice, giving us recommendations and whatnot. Our brown sugar milk teas was great, except for the tapioca part, I couldn't chew it, I don't know if it's the size of it or the amount of time to cook it, but it was a little hard. Overall service was good, definitely comeback again!

Our booth with the hexagonal beehive pattern / looked interesting but was not comfortable to lean because of the steep angle

Food was better than average, service was excellent. Restaurant was totally decorated in Halloween mode. We ordered a tonkotsu ramen bowl (spicy) and a vegetarian ramen. Both were decent sized. Broth of the pork ramen was creamy and delicious. The vegetarian ramen was average. I was very impressed by service and attention of the wait staff. The beehive design of the booths and upper level is very intriguing. They also have a Tea bar, but being a week day, we stayed with basics.

first off, i just wanna reiterate that i absolutely love this place. the first time i came here a couple years ago was such a memorable experience and the food was amazing. this time i tried new things i hadn't before and that's where i think i made a mistake. the matcha latte is delicious, the pork bao is always a winner, and the lobster and chashu salad balls were as well, but what i'd hoped would be the star of the show turned out to be the least flavorful item of the meal. i had such high hopes for the soft shell crab rice burger but the only thing i could taste on this was the cucumber under the crab and the sauce they threw on top of it. the rice was ok too, pretty bland and i'd hoped it would be crispier, but that crab may has well have not even been on the burger at all. at the time, instead of setting it to the side, i just decided to eat it and take the loss and remember to not order it again. but ever since lunch my stomach has been cramping something awful. i haven't had the appetite to eat anything at all the rest of the day due to this pain. i'm hoping it wasn't the crab itself but i truthfully can't imagine what else it could've been. as always though the service and restaurant itself were super friendly and clean. i'll come back but i definitely won't order the soft shell crab again.

We have been to the Suwanee location but this one is better. I think it is because it just open, it is more chill and relaxing- perfect to enjoy a bowl of ramen on a rainy gloomy day. I like how they promote their ramen by telling us to finish it all to see the sticker at the bottom for a prize. We didn't win but it was fun to compete who finish first. I forgot the name of the ramens but both are oishii- creamy savory broth, soft boiled eggs, tender melting pork, sweetness corn, and salty from bonito flake. All balance out. Also it is located in the same plaza as Kroger. So you can go get gas, grocery, and then have a break here. Ayeee

Cool place, good service but food was mediocre. The meat skewers were overdone. The soft shell crab burger wasn't great but the rice cake buns were not good

I came here on a rainy Monday with an empty stomach and left with a full stomach. I am satisfied 100% satfised. I have no complaints whatsoever. I ordered the lunch special that comes with your choice of ramen (1-9#) free appetizers but you can only choose between two and a free drink. I got the cucumber lemonade which doesn't sound too appealing at first but it was soooo good ! For my ramen I got the Kyushi Spicy Tonkotsu. The broth wasn't too heavy , it was just right , the pork was cooked perfectly , again I have no complaints. My favorite experience was the customer service ! Maddie was such a sweetheart. She constantly checked in on me to make sure I was ok. Top tier service !! And the bathroom was clean so that's also a plus lol. I will be returning.

We came here for a date night and it was amazing! The food was delicious, the ambience was festive and our waitress Victoria guided us with great recommendations. We will be back!

My friend and I came here on a Monday night and it wasn't busy at all. We were seated right away and our server came by shortly. We ordered drinks that came on a robot from the boba shop attached. I got the passion fruit with tapioca and my friend got the lychee with tapioca. Both were delicious and refreshing. We both got the spicy pork ramen that is the most ordered. I didn't think it was that spicy but my friend's broth had more color so hers may have been spicier. Love the cute decor and atmosphere. I would come back here again.

Food was so good. The service was on point. Ambiance is pretty dope. I ordered the pork bag bun, Kimchi ramen, and Asahi beer. Everything was absolutely delicious! I'm so glad there is a location in Duluth. I'm definitely coming back again when I get the chance.

I started with the Okiboru buns (chicken and pork) the crispy gyoza, and the garlic nori fries. All three were a great start to the meal. The buns were soft and fluffy, and the pork bun worked really well with the garlic aioli, soy glaze, and pickled cucumber. The chicken one was good too but the pork one beats it on flavor. The gyoza had a nice crisp to them and came with a shoyu dipping sauce that tied everything together well. The garlic nori fries were also really good, crispy and well seasoned, and a fun side to snack on between everything else along with the garlic sauce to dip your fries in. For my main dish, I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, which comes with rich pork broth, pork chashu, half a soft boiled egg, scallions, and thin Hakata noodles. I also added the thick noodle refill on the side, and I'm glad I did because both noodles were excellent in different ways. The biggest standout here was the noodle quality. You can tell immediately that these are fresh noodles because the texture is just on another level. The thin noodles were fantastic and worked perfectly with the tonkotsu broth, but the thick noodles were incredible too. It's one of those meals where after the first bite you immediately understand why people talk about fresh noodles the way they do. The broth itself was rich, flavorful, and comforting without feeling overly heavy, and the pork in the ramen was very good too. Service was also a big part of why this visit stood out. Aaliyah was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she did a great job making the whole experience feel comfortable from the start. Good food is one thing, but good service is a huge part of what makes people want to come back, and she absolutely deserves a shoutout. The restaurant itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I was dining solo, so I sat at a smaller table, but they also have booths and larger middle tables that look like they'd work well for bigger groups. Food came out pretty quickly, and parking was easy since it's in a shopping center. And of course, everything got washed down with a Coke Zero. Not fountain, just canned, but it still hit the spot. This was an excellent meal from start to finish. Great appetizers, outstanding ramen, truly impressive noodles, and service that made the whole visit even better. I'll definitely be back.

Who knows...Maybe they had a third menu with a list of sushi rolls?? ANYWAY, I ended up ordering their Bulgogi Bento, which turned out to be quite substantial in portion, and well presented. The thing I didn't like was the bland, undercooked Bulgogi, with excessive fat. I've been getting served a lot of Bulgogi like this lately around town..and it has somewhat turned me off to Bulgogi in general. I personally prefer a much better cooked Bulgogi, with less fat. I enjoyed the Japchae, as well as the fried sides, but frankly, all the foods were all lacking in full Korean flavor. Some of the sides in the bento just seemed off...like these lackluster Avocado Sushi Rolls and a generic Salad (??). I felt that for the 32-dollar pricing, the sides should have been much better. This bento also came with Egg Drop Soup...but again, too bland. Guess I should have poured some soy sauce. As usual, the service was really good though. They even added this complimentary post-meal drink...this might have been the best part of my entire meal? I still think this is a really nice restaurant, with a lot to offer. I just didn't like how it got rid of many of its stellar Japanese menu items. Also, unfortunately, I just didn't like what I ordered. Again, the Bulgogi was too mild and too fatty...and all the foods in the Bento tasted a bit too bland. If I was to return, I would definitely not repeat the Bulgogi Bento. If they really don't have any sushi rolls, guess I'd order something Chinese?

Over order we did! The food portion/size are huge!!!…read moreWe took home most of the food - and finished them within 2 days. Very good value considering the amount of food received for the process tag. Everything is delicious. Service is good as well.
