(3.5 STARS) Ambiance here is amazing, the decor is so cute and trendy- I'm sure anime fans will love this place! Our server was fast and attentive to us- she did not disappoint! As for the food, it was honestly underwhelming. We got the Naruto ramen which I did not like and the Udon which was just okay in my opinion.

Really loved the tonkatsu ramen here !! The service was Really lovely and they were very quick with my order coming out. The tempura shrimp was big juicy shrimp. Loved that appetizer!! Ramen was a nice sized portion and also the summer cold udon. So delicious !! The decorations and murals on the walls were really nice too. I'd love to come back here

We craved crispy Tonkatsu after our trip to Japan, so we found Raku Tonkatsu + Ramen as one of the slim options available in the ATL region.  Things you should know:  I. PARKING This business is on the left side of the Super HMart Plaza and shares a free, public parking lot with the adjacent businesses. Simple. II. SERVICE  Timely and to-the-point. The theme here is cute ~ they have popular anime posters filling the walls.  III. QUALITY  Crispy & delicious and served like you would experience in Japan. Rice, cabbage salad, and miso soup included. The cabbage salad was great, but I wish it was bottomless for the hefty fee the meal costs in America. The sauce was great also but I would recommend asking your waitress for more ~ it wasn't enough.  IV. CAPACITY  No wait to be seated for a Sunday evening. They had a fair amount of tables available.

Super pleasantly surprised! I am not a big fan of ramen but this miso ramen had a good, clean taste and the tofu dish was good too. My sister also liked her shrimp tempura rice bowl. Good service and ambience. Will be coming back.

Best ramen spot at Duluth! The ramen broth is super savory, and the pork Chashu tastes amazing! I also love the pork tonkatsu plate, it's also a MUST-TRY! I would recommend not to have it with the cheese, because the pork itself is already so delicious!

Under new ownership! I've been to Raku several times over the years but this is this first time I've tried Raku under their new owners . The new owners come from Japan and brought their authentic tasty food with them. The original Naruto ramen is what I ordered and it was delicious. The noodles were cooked to perfection and the soup broth was delicious! I would highly recommend giving the Naruto ramen a try because I would personally have to rank this ramen one of my favorites that Atlanta has to offer.

My entree was just okay as the noodle to sauce ratio was way off leaving the dish try and only flavorful where the marinated ham touched it. Funny enough I'd asked for no ham but was still given it (to which I'm actually thankful cuz the dish would've been dry without it).

Great spot! The interior decor really brought us right back to japan. The service was good & some of the staff and chefs were definitely japanese as we overheard them conversing! Food was delicious! We got some apps to share. Chicken Karaage was juicy and crispy, and the crunchy mayo shrimp was perfect. They also gave us edamame to snack on before the apps. I got a cheese tonkatsu set. The pork was perfectly cooked and tender, loved the miso soup and cabbage salad. My fiancé got a tonkatsu-don bowl which was flavorful and comforting. My brother in law got the shoyu tonkatsu ramen and he said it was great and had one of the best ramen eggs he's tried. Huge piece of chashu pork ontop as well! Overall delicious and authentic japanese food! Can't wait to come back to try their other menu items!

Pretty good ramen! Prices are on the higher side but food seems reliable. Portions were really good, plenty of ramen noodles. The takoyaki was the best I've had - super fresh and hot when it came out. I ordered the Shoyu Chasu Ramen and it came with extra pieces of Chasu (compared to what my friends ordered) and no egg. Our waitress (not Asian) didn't speak fluent English. Interior and bathrooms are quite nice.

Food was really good me and my boyfriend loved it, we would definitely come again the service was great too, and the place in general was so great i loved all the anime I really love anime, ice cream with the sweet potato omg

It's totally my fault that I didn't know about this place sooner! it's a must for anime and ramen lovers! The Naruto Ramen was incredibly flavorful, and the zaru soba with tempura was perfect for summer. My friend enjoyed the maze-men and cheese katsu. Def try the unique osatsu sundae for dessert--sweet potato and ice cream make a perfect combo

A new Korean katsu place, straight out of Korea (or so the videos seem to show?) What sets Ouzen…read moreapart from some of the other katsu spots around is their technique - the katsu is breaded with homemade breadcrumbs made in house, and have a few different options for crumbs, including their signature Kurogoma Fillet katsu which is breaded with black sesame crumbs. Pork itself is good, the cutlet itself tastes like real pork cutlet and not like a pork cutlet esque paste. Katsu curry was solid, and comes with a good amount of rice and katsu. Cheese katsu is a highlight also, probably the best we have had around here. The cheese is extremely gooey so it can be a handful to eat as the cheese stretches everywhere, but the initial pull? Amazing The main plates come with a cabbage salad with a sauce bottle to pour over, rice, miso soup, a bunch of pickles, a special hot pepper pesto, other sauces to dip, and a Vietnamese chili powder which is extraordinarily spicy. We were warned by the server first. The restaurant is small and was exceptionally busy, at lunchtime on a Saturday multiple groups had to wait for a table. They have a disclaimer out front due to the cooking technique that the service would be slow and it unfortunately is, we had finished our meal before the table next to us got their food, and they came in around when we had ordered. Seems like the kinks are still being worked out but they were also quite busy at the time. Ample parking out front but there is a fairly sizable dip in the road outside the shop. Service is great, and the staff do a good job explaining the menu and walking you through it if it is your first time. Menus and service in both English and Korean. Recommended if you're looking to have some premium katsu!

There was a line when we went and had to wait so it can get pretty busy! Plenty of parking though…read morebecause it's in a plaza. We had: - kurogoma fillet katsu: aged pork tender breaded by in house black sesame bread crumbs. Comes with 2 fillets, the color is definitely darker bc of the black sesame but you can't taste it at all. Was expecting more out of this bc it sounded so interesting - fillet katsu: aged pork tender breaded by in house butter bread crumbs. Nothing super special but not bad - chicken katsu: fresh chicken tender breaded with in house butter bread crumbs. Was more moist and tender compared to the pork so would get this over the pork options - shrimp katsu: 1 black and 1 white shrimp, this was really good! Just $3.99 per piece - soba noodles: chilled buckwheat noodles with homemade tsuyu sauce. Comes with wasabi, grated radish. The sauce is a bit bland and required a lot of wasabi. For all the katsu, you do get a bowl of white rice, a salad and dressing (the dressing was tangy and delicious) as well as some pickled sides and salt + katsu sauce for dipping. There's a small amount of chongyang pepper pesto is what they call it but it wasn't really a pesto. Sounded better than it tasted, was a bit bitter for me? Glad I tried but it wasn't my favorite katsu place

The short, thin hostess at the front repeatedly rolled her eyes behind our backs while seating us. I didn't notice it at the time, but our friend pointed it out towards the end of our meal, and it left a very negative impression. Our server was also inattentive. He checked on nearly every table around us multiple times but rarely came by ours. We ordered over $150 worth of food for just the two of us, yet received very little service. Despite that, we still left a 20% tip. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing as well. A lot of the food arrived cold. The quality and taste were nowhere near as good as what we remembered from previous visits. After giving this restaurant multiple chances, we can confidently say we will not be returning.
