These people are CROOKS and SCAMMERS!! DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP!! They short you and also do not give all prescribed herbs. My mom had a list of herbs prescribed by her herbal doctor that she was trying to fill. After going to several herb shops, she was told each time that they did not have a specific herb. Upon going here, she was quickly told and assured that they had everything. After purchasing the herbs and specific quantities, she went home and weighed and checked everything. You pay $15 to the on-site doctor to diagnose your ailment. He seems to know what he's talking about and writes out a script for medicine. You take the script to the counter so they can measure out the exact doses of herbs. You can't keep the script or take a picture of it so you have no idea how much the medicine should really cost. After drinking six days of their stuff at $50, my cough got marginally better but the lack of price transparency would keep me from going back again. DISHONEST and FRAUDULENT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE i had in this place. I have an oral thrush problems due to taking courses of antibiotics in the past. I used western medications however it didn't cure my problem. I have a Chinese girlfriend and she recommended me to try Traditional Chinese Medicine. Unfortunately, i ended up going to KYWH HERBS. And old Chinese man listened to my pulse and prescribed me some herbals. Since i don't have a proper herb boiler/cooker. I asked the owner if she could do it for me. She said okay. She calculated everything and told me that the total amount i had to pay her was 62,25. that includes everything. (boiling the herbs, pulse listening and the herbs itself) So, she charged me the amount and gave me the receipt. She asked me to come back and pick up my medications next day. Today i was there to pick up my first course of herbal medicine and the owner told me that I HAVE TO PAY $15 more for the cooking expenses. I told her you already charged me for it. She says she forgot to include cooking charges, which is not true. So i have two more herbal medicines to pick up from her, she uses that as an excuse and ask me to bring $15 more dollars next time. Honestly speaking paying $15 dollars will not make me poor, and will not make her rich. However, i will never go back there again because i hate dishonest people. She is a SCAMMER. very nice chinese herbs store. The owner is really nice. It's so hard to find a good chinese herbs specialist in the bay area. Dr Hu is very professional and helpful. i had Arthritis after pregnancy. I felt much better after few visits. No consultation fee if you buy herbs from there. I know some other famous herbs store charge $10 to $20 for seeing a herbs specialist. fair price and good quality! read more
