Been a long time favorite of this brand but finally writing my first review. This place speaks for itself. Absolutely amazing quality and flavors. Pricier end but reasonable and worth every bit. Also love love love the samples.

Just amazing!

We happened across a Läderach store in Vienna recently and were blown away by the quality of the chocolate. When I saw that they have multiple stores in NYC, I made sure to bookmark them so we wouldn't forget to stop for more chocolate! The store is suitably fancy and bright, with many displays of their treats. The staff was really helpful, too! Plus they often offer free samples! It's pricey, but it's worth it!

Loveeee their dark hazelnut chocolate barks and the berry white chocolate one. Definitely pricey and is a treat for me once in a while. They let you sample which is amazing. Great place to get a gift for a chocolate fan.

Laderach is one of the best chocolate I've ever had, and I am a HUGE chocolate lover. First tried their dark chocolate almond- WOW. Silky dark chocolate which is so smooth. Sweetness is perfect. And the crunch of the almonds adds perfect texture. Now they have a new vegan line with cashew milk based chocolate. Just tried the cashew milk hazelnut bar and cashew bar- both amazing. Also tried the dark chocolate pistachio. The sample vegan pack is perfect for trying out different flavors! It just tastes so good. Laderach does chocolate RIGHT. It is a little pricey at $14 per 0.25 pound. The vegan sampler pack of 10 small bars came out to $33. But wow it is so worth it if you really want to treat yourself to some luxurious chocolate. I am not sure any other chocolate will compare after this. :)

A piece of all flavors.

Swiss chocolates are my best besides See's Candies. When I saw Laderach, I just had to go in and get some. There are so many flavors that I couldn't choose, so I got a piece of everything. I love Swiss chocolates and can't help it if I am an indecisive person. Once you tried these chocolates, you will agree that they are delicious. Sweetness is mild. You can taste the chocolate and the nuts are fresh. It's $55.60 a pound. The bag in the picture is about $20. Well worth it. The sales associate is patient, knowledgeable and has impeccable service. The store is so clean looking.

They offer tastings of their Swiss chocolate creations. Chocolate bark (FrischSchoggi) and truffles. Had 2 types of their bar--one with hazelnuts and milk chocolate, and the other one described in the photo. Both were delicious! Expensive at $55/lb, but this ain't your mass produced chocolate. Place was very clean and inviting. Staff were cordial and knowledgeable of their products.

Laderach is a Swiss chocolatier and has been expanding in the US these past few years. They opened their flagship store in NYC on 5th Ave at the end of 2020 and just opened this location near Times Square on 50th and 7th a few months ago. I love their truffles, which you can purchase individually or select one of their assortment boxes. I wanted to give my friends a belated Valentine's treat, so I picked up their Truffles Classic, with an assortment of 8 pieces. It's $18.90+ ($20.58 incl. tax) for an 8-piece box, which includes 2 of each: - Truffle Milk - Truffle White - Truffle Caramel - Truffle Dark They also had a 18, 24 and 36-piece box, as well as the same size boxes with truffles containing alcohol for the same price. They're delicious and perfect for a nice gifts and

Hunted down this chocolate shop & it did not disappoint. A little pricey but too good to deny, try the white chocolate with berries!

Of course, their block chocolate is wonderful, but ask for Trish in the store on 7th Avenue at 50th Street.

The bartender was really chill but once it started getting busy it seemed like the support staff was short, if not rude. All good, overall but just sorta hit weird. Although, that bartender is so sweet and I'd wanna come back.

The great reviews and overall rating along with the fact they had an emphasis on sour beers (my wife's favorite style of beer) made it a no brainer. Also as you have likely seen they are a women-owned operation so another positive. We did mistakingly walk by it at first but quickly found it. It's a beautifully designed space and more unique than your typical brewery space. Also speaking of they have lots of drinks other than beers, including wines, ciders, cocktails, coffee and a couple NA beers. Due to the impending storm they were closing early but my wife and I each got a beer. I got their New England IPA called Sun Up which was citrusy and juicy with a touch of bitterness/hoppy notes. Then my wife got their fruited sour Peach Berry Punch that definitely had a punch of pink guava and peach but the berry was more subtle. Two great beers with plenty of other styles available too. Service was friendly with a smile and took no time to get our beers. Such a positive experience we plan on returning to give their cocktails a try! An absolute must visit for beer lovers who find themselves near Bryant Park! (Also non-beer lovers since they offer so much more too.)

Convenient location situated in the newly renovated Moynihan Train Hall. First thing I ever tried…read morehere was the "Amanda's Case", which is 40 pieces of dark and milk chocolate almonds. It didn't wow me. Tasted pretty much like your standard chocolate almonds. I recently decided to give this place another shot to try their highly-raved macarons and OMG... didn't expect a macaron to change my life. The chocolate ganache is heavenly. My favorite might be the "Sylvia", which is milk chocolate ganache + hints of caramel. The worker behind the counter was kind and helpful. I purchased two macaron sets, informing her that one was a present. She graciously offered me an extra gift bag.

How have I never written a review of this remarkable chocolate shop?!…read more La Maison du Chocolat is my all-time favorite chocolate. I am a devotee of dark chocolate, and have tried every dark offering it has. Each is superb, even flavor combinations I haven't historically adored (like orange and chocolate - I know it's popular, but it's just not my favorite). That said, my personal favorite is the Anastasia, a hazelnut and dark praline enrobed in dark chocolate. It is exquisite. Service is always excellent. I've ordered in person and over the phone, and have always been so pleased with the staff. The website is helpful when ordering a variety, but if you'd like an entire box of Anastasia, for example, you have to call the Rockefeller Center store and place the order by phone. They ship once a week, and I always have my box fairly quickly. Boxes make terrific gifts ... including for yourself. If you're walking in, I recommend sitting down to enjoy a few pieces of chocolate, then taking the rest in a box with you. There is a cozy but comfortable seating area in the back just for this. This area is also an ideal place to enjoy some of their drinking chocolate. Highly, highly recommend.
