Myzel's Chocolates is a cute little confectionery in midtown west with an assortment of different delicious chocolates. I've been to Myzel's s a few times after doing some research. I've gotten chocolate covered matzo and chocolate peanut butter cups. Both were fresh and excellent. The place has a small family owned business vibe to it.

The autumn bar they had with nuts and dried cranberries and pumpkin seeds. I only meant to take a piece as a sweet treat and I ate the whole dang bar...in one sitting. The other chocolates are tasty too. The truffles in the box collections are assorted and have a description so you know what you're eating. But...go get the hand dipped apricots. The apricots were like nothing I've had before. They were dried but plump and bursting with sweet sticky flavor and the milk chocolate complimented it. They sell the dark chocolate dipped ones online but I need to get the hand dipped milk chocolate ones! I'm hooked and trying to find any excuse to hit up Macys cause I don't need to be shopping. I just don't. I step into a store and the wallet opens up. All Of a sudden. Before the year is over I'm promising myself some of the dipped apricots! My years been a little rough and even the sweetest of treat offers a nice mini escape from some of the chaos. It may not be much, but I'll take it! Go and check em out. Alexis, who was assisting us at the counter, was warm, attentive, and welcoming, which made our visit even more pleasant. We used to visit their Boston location whenever we were in Boston, but unfortunately, it was closed when we visited last September, and I was so disappointed. So when my husband took me to this location during holiday last year, which we've been shopping at for a long time, I was super happy and definitely went a little overboard! I ended up getting quite a few boxes of chocolates for family and friends. Today, I picked out just 12 individual chocolates and got to choose a beautiful green box and gold ribbon. During the Christmas season, the store gets so busy and packed that they don't usually have time to ask which color box and ribbon I'd like, so I especially enjoyed being able to choose them today. We were also gifted two pieces of their chocolate champagne truffle, which were absolutely delicious. Needless to say, I couldn't resist! I ended up purchasing a box of nine chocolate champagne truffles to take home as well. I'll probably stop by the store again tomorrow to pick up some more chocolates to bring back and gift to family. This was easy to find, as it's right in front of the Sak's Fifth Avenue light show and the Rockefeller Christmas tree. During the holidays, it was very difficult to get through the sea of people. On my first visit, I paid $4.25 for a single champagne truffle so that I could try it. Later, after doing some comparison shopping with other chocolate stores, I came back here to purchase boxes of mixed champagne truffles (classic and dark). The Teuscher staff are SO NICE! They ran out of the boxes for 4 champagne truffles, but they were so kind to custom-make me the truffles in cute boxes that they stuck "truffle" stickers onto, and also tied them with ribbons. They even gave me a sample of 3 jasmine truffles!!! That is SO NICE OF THEM. THREE??? I ate one, and it was divine, even though I don't even like chocolates anymore and lost my taste for chocolate over the years. I saved the rest of the samples and ate them at breakfast over the next two days. Yet, most people are not like me and love chocolates, so if you have the means, this is a great place to purchase elegant (and very pricey) chocolates as gifts!

Then I relaxed as I had seen almost six perfume stores and needed to rest. As only two tables had guests, the cafe was quiet. I met Brigitte who gave me the treats. We spoke French as I like to practice and spoke about the cafe and chocolate. Terrence made me the coffee and later I met Mike in the front. There is also a restroom here. What I love personally is the candy has no artificial flavors, high fructose corn syrup, and a variety of gluten free, vegan, gelatin free candy. My favorites are the chocolate bars, the sour gummies are great as well. Love the gold scoopers such a beautiful touch! The atmosphere is beautiful, and spotless.
