Custom mold chocolate for any theme or occasion.
    Brian M.

This place was the BOMB!! Some of the best and classiest chocolates I've ever tasted. This was quality at its best. To me they were superior to Godiva and Le Maison du Chocolat which is quite a compliment. Their recipes date back almost 100 years and they bring their product into the modern era. Everyone that worked there was extraordinarily customer focused and had a passion for their craft. I was there for the grand opening of Hudson Yards and had the opportunity to meet the co owners Christopher who is the Chief Financial Officer and Anwar who is the Master Choclatier. They took the time to provide a tour of the store and their speciality mold process as I was I thought this was a great idea for upcoming occasions I have. They have six locations including Chelsea Market, the West Village, the East Village, Grand Central Market, and Brooklyn/Industry City. They offer so much including gift baskets, gifts and favors for weddings, parties, business and corporate events and just about anything you can imagine. I think their product is worth the cost and would highly recommend to check them out.

I've seen a couple of places like Chelsea Market and Grand Central Terminal have this chocolate shop set up so I thought I would give it a try when I saw it for a third time at Hudson Yards. The purple decor gives it a very old-timey vibe but I think they were going for elegance. It's definitely pricey like bakery prices for tiny chocolates. They make cute creations like the chocolate lipsticks which makes for a really great gift. For me, the taste just wasn't there. It didn't feel decadent or rich/creamy. I'm sure it uses better quality ingredients but its what you create with those ingredients that matter. The milk chocolate was average - would compare to the chocolate bunnies CVS has. White chocolate tasted oddly medicinal. There was something off about it. The hazelnut square was not good. Maybe I was expecting it to taste like Nutella but it didn't even taste like anything. In fact, it tasted expired like the nuts were bad. The peanut butter fudge tasted like the inside of a really good Reese's cup. This was the best one and that's coming from someone who isn't even a big fan of peanut butter.

The chocolate was pretty good, i have had better at other places thought. I got peanut butter and jelly, peanut butter cup, and loose chocolate breakage. It was only ok.

The Neapolitan White Chocolate (NWC) variety is part of their limited time spring collection and was first introduced in 2020 (to the best of my knowledge). I'm going to begin with a brief tangent for those of you unfamiliar with Neapolitan Ice Cream. Supposedly it has its origins in the cuisine of the Italian city Naples and the Neapolitan immigrants who brought spumoni to the U.S. Spumoni is an Italian dessert that uses three different flavored (vanilla, cherry, and pistachio) layers of ice cream that resemble the Italian flag. Americans would put their own spin on it by replacing the cherry with strawberry and the pistachio with chocolate. Moving back to the NWC truffles, the outer shell is comprised of a smooth and creamy white chocolate infused with strawberry, while the equally smooth core is a melty milk chocolate and white chocolate truffle. Although Neapolitan is not a favorite ice cream of mine (fruity ice cream is not my thing), Lindt absolutely nails it with all three flavors clearly coming through. Like all the other truffles I've tried from Lindt, the texture is phenomenal. I was a bit skeptical going into this one and only picked these up out of curiosity when I spotted them on clearance. If they could win me over, then you have to give these a try if you're a fan of the ice cream flavor. Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews My Favorite Lindt Truffles: 1. Birthday Cake 2. My fiancé and I had a lot of fun looking at all of the choices they had. On top of all of this, there is an option of prepackaged Lindt chocolates as well as different chocolate barks by the entrance. Definitely a fun thing to do with your friends as well!

The great reviews and overall rating along with the fact they had an emphasis on sour beers (my wife's favorite style of beer) made it a no brainer. Also as you have likely seen they are a women-owned operation so another positive. We did mistakingly walk by it at first but quickly found it. It's a beautifully designed space and more unique than your typical brewery space. Also speaking of they have lots of drinks other than beers, including wines, ciders, cocktails, coffee and a couple NA beers. Due to the impending storm they were closing early but my wife and I each got a beer. I got their New England IPA called Sun Up which was citrusy and juicy with a touch of bitterness/hoppy notes. Then my wife got their fruited sour Peach Berry Punch that definitely had a punch of pink guava and peach but the berry was more subtle. Two great beers with plenty of other styles available too. Service was friendly with a smile and took no time to get our beers. Such a positive experience we plan on returning to give their cocktails a try! An absolute must visit for beer lovers who find themselves near Bryant Park! (Also non-beer lovers since they offer so much more too.)

It didn't wow me. Tasted pretty much like your standard chocolate almonds. I recently decided to give this place another shot to try their highly-raved macarons and OMG... didn't expect a macaron to change my life. The chocolate ganache is heavenly. My favorite might be the "Sylvia", which is milk chocolate ganache + hints of caramel. The worker behind the counter was kind and helpful. I purchased two macaron sets, informing her that one was a present. She graciously offered me an extra gift bag.

I am a devotee of dark chocolate, and have tried every dark offering it has. Each is superb, even flavor combinations I haven't historically adored (like orange and chocolate - I know it's popular, but it's just not my favorite). That said, my personal favorite is the Anastasia, a hazelnut and dark praline enrobed in dark chocolate. It is exquisite. Service is always excellent. I've ordered in person and over the phone, and have always been so pleased with the staff. The website is helpful when ordering a variety, but if you'd like an entire box of Anastasia, for example, you have to call the Rockefeller Center store and place the order by phone. They ship once a week, and I always have my box fairly quickly. Boxes make terrific gifts ... including for yourself. If you're walking in, I recommend sitting down to enjoy a few pieces of chocolate, then taking the rest in a box with you. There is a cozy but comfortable seating area in the back just for this. This area is also an ideal place to enjoy some of their drinking chocolate. Highly, highly recommend.
