Now that we've taken some time after our wedding to gather ourselves and settle back into our routine, I'm finally getting around to this review. Right off the bat, I want to start by thanking everyone who played a role in our ceremony. I'm sure we were part of a large group of events that were impacted by this pamdemic. As a result, we had to reschedule our event about five times from our initial wedding date. The staff at Brandview, specifically Kayla and Yervand, made all the adjustments and changes a breeze! We unfortunately took it down to the wire because of our ever-changing guest list. They were able to still make the accommodations (but i don't suggest u do that) and guide us as to what we could expect. Yervand even made some vendor recommendations that put our event over the top. Now although the day of the event it was a bit chaotic, Hovik saved the day. He over saw the set up and the event itself. He made everything so smooth by starting us off in the bridal suite with some snacks and water while we got ready for our grand entrance. Throughout the entire night, Hovik continued to check with us to make sure that we were being taken care off. I really want to say thanks Hovik for making our lives easier that day. Overall everything turned out great! The food was super delicious and just kept coming out with no end in sight! The hall itself looked amazing with all the lights and decorations. Beautiful place had an event here for a company event. Food was lovely. The one thing I noticed o my bill. A higher bill for my drinks. You have to buy drink tickets in order to order from your bartender. $9 for beer, and wine and $13 for mixed drinks. $48 total with no tax or no tip. I ordered one beer ticket. And 3 mixed drinks. On my bank o was charged over $66 so I am not sure how the math works on this. When we order from the bar we tip as we go. So if someone can explain that would be great! read more

Let me start off by bragging on how this plays does not know how to say "no" to anything & by saying "thank you team". Just imagine being in a very gorgeous venue with beautiful ambience and views, breathtaking staircase and chandelier with very professional top-notch experienced staff who provide excellent customer service. I thank Yervand for his time, and for helping me plan and create a memorable evening and making sure everything was up to my expectations. And I specifically want to thank Hovig for his impeccable service at the venue prior & throughout our event for going out of his way with an incredible customer service & delicious food which our guests are still raving about. I came here for a wedding on Saturday 6/5 for a friends wedding. We found the valet parking attendee with a sign that stated $10. We drove around a little to see if any street parking was available but we unfortunately didn't find any. We pulled back to valet and gave them the car. The hall is located on the second floor and the stairs did look a little steep so we decided to take the elevator. It lead to the outdoor patio where we waited until we were allowed to enter the hall. Our friends had a cocktail hour and it was inside the hall adjacent to where the wedding was going to be. The hall could be divided into two sections. The first section had the bar in it and the second section had the DJ, the bride and the groom. The appetizers were set on the table when we walked in. There was a probably a total of 15 appetizers. They were really tiny and not enough for the entire table. The first course was the puff pastry with cheese filling in it. The service plate had a total of about 10 servings and unfortunately our table had 11 people on it so it was not enough for all of us. The second course was beef and chicken grilled meat with a side of potatoes. There was maybe a total of eight pieces of beef cubes and 10 pieces of chicken. We started passing it around amongst us and again there wasn't enough for the entire table as some of us wanted more than just a single piece. Very tiny portions The third course was beef and chicken kebabs with a side of rice. Now this was probably the worst portion size serving I've seen as there was a total of five pieces of beef kebabs and another five pieces of chicken kebabs. Some of us wanted more than just one piece from each kind. This left the others with none to eat. The food was tasty and I was really hoping for more. The last course was on fire I mean literally. It was some sort of beef plate with a layer of cheese topping and fire on top of it probably from alcohol. I took a bite of it and I couldn't do anymore as it was very bad. Overall the service and the food was mediocre as the portions were very small and our server didn't return for a while. We also ran out of Soto if you times and there was nobody there to refill it. I did like the overall look of the hall. They have great lighting and spacing. I do love the white dance floor and the white curtains. It adds elegance to the hall. After the party was over we went down to pick up the car and the valet attendant asked us for $12. My understanding was valet was only $10 when we parked the car. We explained this to him and he stated that morning events are $10 but but the night events are $12. He was really kind and and only charged us the $10 price that was advertised when we parked. read more

Sarine Garabedian was our LA Banquet point person for our wedding at the Brandview Ballroom on January 19, 2020 and, put simply, she was a bride and groom's dream come true. I cannot speak more highly of any event coordinator out there. Sarine was as professional as she was kind, as detail-oriented as she was insightful, and as generous with her time and attention as she was honest. To provide some back story, my husband and I knew we wanted our wedding in LA, but didn't know where to start when deciding on a venue. We wanted to provide our guests with the "wow" factor, but didn't want to lose sight of our finances along the way. There are plenty of venues out there to choose from, but all of them were missing something that the Brandview Ballroom simply did not: 1. Bridal suite 2. Ability to bring in your own alcohol 3. Unparalleled catering 4. Beautiful surroundings 5. Private balcony with stringed lights 6. Spacious and top of the line dance floor 7. Fixed and connected large bar area 8. ... and SARINE! Including support staff, we had around 208 people seated and the floor plan was absolutely perfect. Everyone was seated comfortably and still close to the action any where they were seated. The space can seat up to 500 if you're not having a ceremony at the venue, by the way. All in all, this venue and the entire Brandview staff (waiters, bartenders, floor managers, and event coordinators) is top of its class. You will not be disappointed! read more

Visited 3/3/2017 Came to this banquet hall to celebrate many years of service. I've driven by this place on my way to the Americana, but I never paid much attention to it. Parking located in the garage, just a short walk away. Upon entrance to the banquet, I immediately noticed how nice looking it was. They served SO MUCH food!! To bad it was Friday though, I couldn't eat any of the meat dishes. The tables were set up nicely. The waiter was accommodating. He was nice enough to bring me more salmon since I couldn't eat any of the meat. Delicious!! Loved how the lights looked. If I were to ever need a banquet hall, I definitely would choose this place. My daughter had her wedding here this past weekend. Hovik was absolutely amazing. Julie was our sales person. A few key issues: 1. We were told a violinist was part of cocktail hour, no violinist during cocktail hour. 2. There wasnt enough wine, champagne for our guest during cocktail hour. I didn't even get a glass, neither did bride or groom. 3. This was by far the most annoying: the bridal suite smelled like literal human waste, the smell was absolutely disgusting . When we bought it up at end of night the workers tried to blame is, saying " you guys are the only ones who had access to it" Needlessly to say i was beyond pissed off. Food was great. Bartenders was rude to groom. The valet guys are not very nice, i witness one of them tell brides driver "listen when in fucking talking to you" with the entire bridal party in car. We looked at several venues for our wedding and ending up choosing Brandview Ballroom for a multitude of different reasons off the bat - 1) It was the largest of the ballrooms we looked at to comfortably accommodate our guests 2) was in a great location near several hotels for guests flying in out of town 3) it was one of the more favorably priced options and 4) we'd heard amazing things from other friends and family who had previously held events with LA Banquets & Anoush Catering. After working with Aren, Hovik and the team over the next several months as we planned our wedding - we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We had an amazing wedding made even more special by the entire staff who went the extra mile to make all our guests feel welcome. I booked this venue for my daughter's quinceañera when you go there they are so polite and sale this wonderful experience that they can't managed to accomplish the day of my daughter party there was a fired at the restaurant below they failed to call us to let us know that they had evacuated everyone including our vendors that we hired candy table people mariachi and Dj I had to beg my vendors to come back I had to pay extra for them to return. the mariachi didn't return lost my money there was no grand entrance with mariachi my daughter party was ruined there actions caused my daughter emotional stress the food was thrown away while my guest were still eating they gave them tap water in a glass pitcher when they did the food tasting /presentation they had bootle water!they had no ice flat soda The waiter were lazy standing around they don't speak English they stand around laughing at my guest while they danced they were cleaning the venue before guest left emptied the tables the dance floor was slippery they didn't know how to use the fog machine they charged me for there was water all over the floor a couple of my guest fell and hurt them self while dancing also the bathroom are old broken no toilet paper I called to complained but no one is willing to talk to me. this place is over price and they are rude ! My original wedding venue essentially canceled a month before my wedding. We got extremely lucky brandview had an opening the same weekend and were so responsive and accommodating. Yervand was super helpful throughout the process, and had good recommendations for us. Many of our guests complimented the food and atmosphere. It is very grand looking with a beautiful chandelier and long staircase. In addition the the ballroom, there is access to a patio and a suite for the bridal party. When we arrived, there was food waiting for us in the bridal suite before we made a grand entrance, which was a lifesaver after taking photos for hours at our ceremony venue without a break. My only criticisms would be the bathrooms are outdated and the bridal suite bathroom had a weird smell. Overall a great experience though, all our guests had positive things to say! read more

The organization I work for had their holiday party here this past weekend and I loved it! Everything from the cleanliness of the venue, to the various lighting fixtures they had throughout the event, and the food, was amazing! Let's focus on the food for now. We first arrived and there was a setting of dips, vegetables, and little side dishes. We were then served some amazing cheese pastries, teriyaki salmon, various grilled meats, pasta and rice. Everything was really good! The dance floor was really cool too. It didn't feel too crowded even when it was full, and the acoustics in the room we're perfect for any kind of music. Unfortunately the DJ for this event was mediocre, but overall it was a good experience. I guess the main thing about this venue is the pretty cool location. It's located right across from the Americana, so you can always do a little shopping, dining, and strolling, before or after the event you attend. Quick Tips: 1. Me and my Husband got married 2 weeks ago and we had our Reception here, in Brandview. All of my guests shared a review for the food, which was really delicious and in a way, innovative. My husband and I made the best decision when we chose to get married at Brandview in September 2016. This review is way overdue, but here it goes. From our first appointment with Sevada to see the venue and book a date to the day of the wedding, everything went flawlessly. Now, for those who have gotten married, are planning a wedding, or have thrown a large event, you know that's a bold statement; however, things really did go without a glitch at Brandview. Booking the date was easy, the deposits were made over the course of a few months and were convenient, and the staff was a pleasure to work with before and during the reception. This is largely due to Sevada, who is to thank for his unwavering kindness, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure our special day was unforgettable. The menu has 25+ appetizers and entrees and everything was delicious (according to guests, as we did not get a chance to eat all night). Guests were greeted with a champagne tower. With almost 400 guests, the dance floor and venue did not once feel overcrowded. The venue is huge, with ample room for dancing, socializing, and seating. There is a large, renovated patio area outside the dance floor where people can chat without the music blasting inside. There's a bar area where you can customize drinks as an added feature, for those that want to take the extra step in addition to providing drinks at each table. Another great feature is that the alcohol was included in the price per person, which took one more responsibility off of us as hosts. The venue itself is really pretty and different than a lot of venues in the area. The windows provide a nice view of downtown Glendale, by the Americana and the mirrored pillars make the already large place look even larger. Highly recommend Brandview to anyone who is looking for a venue in the area and am forever grateful to Sevada and the rest of the team for their efforts in making our wedding go by so smoothly. read more

Just had our wedding here on 8/24/2019 and the entire process was super seamless, service was above and beyond and the cost was reasonable. Our wedding coordinator/event planner Sarine was always so welcoming and never missed a beat in answering our questions and catering to our requests. She really made sure everything went smoothly, especially since we did not hire an actual wedding coordinator. We never felt pressured or rushed to make decisions. Our guests raved about the amount and QUALITY of the food during cocktail hour, as well as dinner and of course, the beauty of the venue itself! Thank you a million times over Brandview Ballroom staff! I hosted my wedding reception here and the service was NEXT LEVEL. My account manager was Sevada and then we were transitioned to Sarine. Both Sevada and Sarine were super accommodating and helped us select a package that best suited our 200 person wedding. First of all, this venue is absolutely gorgeous. With the price you pay you get access to the patio, cocktail lounge and the ballroom which is unlike any other venues that I have seen. We were also given the Bridal Suite and it was just perfect for our bridal party. Brandview Ballroom is located right across from the Americana which definitely wows guests. On the day of our wedding our Day-Of Site Manager was Greg. He was spectacular. I didn't have to ask twice for anything. If I had any questions Greg was always one step ahead. The lead server, I wish I knew his name, was the absolute best. He kept food and water coming to our sweetheart table. I could tell that he genuinely cared about my comfort on the big day which made me feel at ease. I could go on and on. I was looking to book a venue for my baby shower that would hold a small group of about 75 guests. I'm so happy I chose this place with the help of co-workers! I had first heard of Anoush from my co-workers who have had their weddings and/or baby showers at this Brandview location. Of all the places they mentioned they all agreed this place had the best menu and very good food. They were so right!! From the start I had a very good experience with them. I worked with Sevada, who was very professional and on top of things. Every time I needed to change or add something he would be accommodating to my requests. The space I reserved was upstairs on the 2nd floor by the bar area. It was absolutely beautiful!! Since I only had about 75 guests the room was divided in half. I had 6 guests table, 1 cake table, gift & sign in table, and a candy station. Their was also a dance floor, which was nice! The set up was perfect, not cramped at all! The best part was we got to hook up our own iPod to play our own music during the event. It was nice to see Sevada the first hour or so walking around to make sure things were going smooth. Now on to the food!!! Let me tell you, it tasted amazing!! Every single dish that was served was very tasty and fresh! We had 18 appetizers, 3 hot main courses, salad & fruit. Everyone enjoyed the food and kept talking about how nice the venue was! My family was teasing us saying this not only was our daughters baby shower but also our second wedding reception! :). I was very happy with Sevada & Anoush catering and team! Everything went so perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I would definitely recommend doing any kind of event here... Hands down BEST banquet hall/venue in Glendale! Last week my company had their annual Holiday Party and they decided to choose Brandview Ballroom as the location. The venue's food, service, ambiance, decor, lighting and hospitality of management far exceeded our guests expectations! We started the night with a delightful cocktail hour which began as soon as guests rode up the elevator to the 2nd floor to be greeted by a giant champagne tower and servers tray passing hors d'oeuvres all while having a violinist set the mood for the night. Once cocktail hour was over the veil curtains opened to reveal a giant room that included dozens of dining tables, a huge dance floor, a photo booth, casino tables and a stylish built in bar tucked in the corner. The dining tables were generously filled with an abundant amount of hot/cold appetizers, deli meats, pickled veggies, smoked salmon, caviar and multiple salads spread across the table all of which were delicious! As if that wasn't enough food by itself the main entrees then started pouring in waves which included a fresh salmon, pasta, beef filet/chicken breast pieces, beef kabobs and a julien flambe which came with a flaming presentation! The last course by the end of the night we washed down all the food with fresh seasonal fruit and Armenian coffee which was just perfect. The bar (Crystal Bartenders) had the drinks flowing from 7pm to 1am with an OPEN BAR??!! That alone warrants a 5 stars! We even were able to get specialty drinks custom named after certain employees in the company. Very cool! Lastly we were surprised with a remarkable fire show (I have a separate review for this vendor, if interested). The DJ (High Class DJ - Hayk) was awesome! He played a mix match of cultural music from hip-hop, house, Spanish, Reggaeton, Arabic and even Armenian music! All of which was awesome and had everyone on the dance floor. Photo booth was very classy and not cheesy like others with props or anything. Simple holiday back drop with an IPAD that captured everything on the spot and printed a physical copy and also auto generated the image via text. The Casino tables which we hired another vendor to bring was even a bigger hit then we thought! Had people playing and laughing uncontrollably as they won and lost; all for fake money which gave them an opportunity to win prizes. All-in-All the night was a success and guests were blown away with the venue! Thank you LA Banquets and Sarine (our Event Manager) for making our Company Holiday Party a night to remember!
