don't go here! beware! the big scam is you have to pay in full before they do your nails so no matter how awful they turn out you cant pay less! your stuck with awful ugly bloody nails! i am natalie and lacey's grandmother. do not go here! you wont get what you ask for. they cut the girls multiple times causing them to bleed, very painful on there nail beds. i gave the girls no limit on what they could spend. i just wanted them to be happy. they showed the ladies photos of what they wanted and got nothing even close to it. i think my 12 year old grandson could have done better! i will be showing up tomorrow to speak with a manager! your business will be sued for any doctor visits due to the cuts they received!! pain and suffering! lawsuits for this are easy to win! you hurt someone you pay! i keep my attorneys card in my wallet! be prepared! i am coming and at the very least i better get every nickle back! below see the lovely photo shown to the tech and the wet mess and cuts that look nothing like the photo. the red isn't even the right color! read more

I was a walk in for a pedicure. They lady that did my feet was super nice, however she never removed the dirt from my toe nails. I work outside a lot. I shouldn't be able to see a dark ring around the polish. I don't even see well(otherwise I would have done my own feet).I got my nail tech license in the 90s. Don't they clean out dirt as part of a pedicure anymore? read more

If I could give a 0 on my eyebrows I would, they are horrible. They are not even above my eyes, one is longer than the other, there is no arch....I will literally have to pencil them in until they grow back... also, the shop is crowded and dirty, not worth the money I spent!! read more

They did a terrible job on my cousins nails. It wasn't the right color. It was to be a blue tiny tip, and it was huge. There were smugges and lumps in the nails. She wouldn't fix it. Then, the lady had the nerve to talk and complain to other customers about my cousin wanting her nails fixed. Good way to lose customer. read more

When I first started going to LA Nails I thought that Scott and Amy ( the owners) were amazing. They operated as a team and were very social and friendly. However, after being a faithful patron for a few months I started to feel some type of way when Amy kept insisting that I leave a review. I did, eventually leave two raving reviews, but not before I was thoroughly tired of being harassed about it. Then Amy started asking me to start paying in cash because of the fees charged to them for using the credit card machine. I don't carry cash, and when you spend at least 200$ a month at a business, seems like your method of payment should not be an issue. Anyway, after a couple of months of being chastised for not paying with cash I decided not to go back to this business. I started going to a salon an hour away. Meaning, I chose to drive an extra 40 minutes ONE WAY, in order to avoid this woman. I've not gone to LA Nails in over 8 months. Today, I tried one more time to give them a chance. Gas prices alone being the driver of their second chance. But alas, I ended up peeling out of the parking lot pretty obnoxiously because as of NOW I'm done with this business and the woman that owns it. I arrived 20 minutes prior to opening to ensure promptness (as my daughter has softball games all day and tomorrow I go on vacation). Another young lady arrived about 5 minutes before they opened. We were greeted by Scott and both sat to receive services. About 5 minutes into that another woman walks in. Scott starts my nails and then moves to the young lady. Amy comes out and puts the woman who came in last in the pedicure seat. She asks what I want and I tell her I want pink and whites. Amy then tells me that I will have to wait for Scott. Who is now working on the girls nails that was outside waiting but AFTER me. Do I mind? Yes I mind very much. The only person with an appointment is the lady getting her toenails done. Meaning I am the person who should be going first. I was outside waiting first. Last time I ever give that place another thought. Just saying, if you like to be harassed while you're trying to relax and practice self-care, then yes this salon is for you. And PS, Amy is a wolf posing as a sheep, I've personally heard her talk badly about other salon patrons when they left and or caused conflict while inquiring about the wait time or whatever. Petty. Sourpuss. Immovable and highly frustrating is this woman who runs this salon. I will absolutely never go back. read more

losing my teeth out of very young age made me first of all cry, and second of all made me very self-conscious. I went in to get my eyebrows done. all she kept talking about was my teeth and why I didn't have any. Mind you I have dentures but they're not fitting that well and I left them at home. I didn't think it was a professional that she constantly asked me why didn't have teeth and laughed under her breath, then, had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to tip her at the end. If you're not into clutter, waiting for a long time and getting lectured on your looks, I would not go there. read more

I hate to leave a bad review because it appears this shop and the owners have been around for a while but the place was so cluttered and run down. Chairs are all torn with towels over them, some have duck tape. There are hand written signs everywhere. The first one I saw said "no photos" which that should have been a red flag. Made me think they didn't want anybody seeing how horrid it is. Told to pick out a color. Couldn't even see the whole rack because there was a chair, table, and stuff stacked on the ground in front of it. They have a plastic barrier in front of you while getting a pedicure that has a bunch of hand written notes all over it. Tacky. I had glitter regular polish on my toes. She used the grinder tool to take it off. Although glitter is tough, no other salon has had a problem getting it off. I tried to tell her that they soak them. And she said "soak them in what" I said I don't know they saturate a cotton ball and put it on the polish and leave there for a bit and with a little scrubbing it comes off. "That's not soaking" then rubbed for one second with a cotton ball and proceeded to use the tool. To dry my nails she moved me to a torn down spinning my chair with a dusty rusted fan blowing on my toes. Nobody else was in there the whole time I got the service. Another red flag. Super surprised they can stay in business. read more

The establishment was filthy and cluttered. Both technicians that worked on my nails had dirty unkempt fingernails. The TV was tuned to the impeachment proceedings. I commented how I was annoyed with that and I was ignored. I personally enjoy music and quiet while In a nail salon. Fortunately my finished nails were acceptable for the most part but definitely not the professionalism I'm use to in my home location . I went with my mother, who has been going for years. Amy was very abrupt and curt. I didn't like how she just shoved my foot around vice asking me to place it into the tub. I have been to several nail salons from CA to NC to HI...I've never felt so uncomfortable, especially when I asked for gel on my toes. Today, I went by this nail shop for the 3rd time since moving to this area in 12/2017. Back then, I went for a fill in and was dismayed that the acrylic used was peeling off. I regretfully returned to get a "soak off" for fabulous nails I'd gotten at NY nails in gainesville a few weeks before for my wedding. The short, bald man ripped my acrylics off with what looked like a sharp letter opener. I asked for a full set and he continued to make the most hideous nails I've gotten ever. It was so bad I didn't even want him to paint my nails! I called next day and boss lady alone with me and asked me to come in so she could look at fixing them. She saved the day after I had a meltdown. She did her best to fix his mistake but I'll keep going to Gainesville. read more

People are super friendly, super fast, and really nice to kids I got a pedicure and waxing done and they did a great job they clean their chairs before we sat down and after we got up and I watch Amy clean the same chair again before the next person sat down so she did it twice just in less then 5 minutes Amy did a great job would tell anyone and everyone to come her!!! read more

Called ahead and was told they did not take appointments. Walked and was told a 15 minute wait. Left and came back 15 minutes later, waited another 20 minutes in their waiting room. Asked how much longer and was told another 10 minutes. I left my phone number and they called 35 minutes later and said they were ready for me. I was just finishing up at Bella Nails across the street. Wish I had gone there first.
