I told her that I lived right down the street and was happy to run over when they were ready because my dog has never been in a crate in his life and just wouldn't handle it well. She was nice enough to try and help make some other suggestions but told me that her business wouldn't be a good fit for us. This is very sad for me because I like to do business as local as possible.

When it's time for pickup, a friendly call informs you that your dog is ready, returned to you gleaming and gorgeous, accompanied by a debriefing of any concerns. They are my first-line defenders when it comes to Saydee's overall health, including her body, teeth, fur, and ears. Appointments can be challenging to secure because they are that good, which is why I book mine for the entire year. Monthly visits work best for me, and I gladly drive 35-45 minutes each way because I wouldn't trust anyone else with this task. A word of caution regarding any unfavorable reviews: They are poppycock. Professionalism isn't always warm and fuzzy and f you would rather hear flattering words while dealing with sloppy grooming, tardiness, and inconsistency, go somewhere else. She was so nice on the phone and was very informative from the haircut itself to the cost and the directions to the business. Her assistant Christina is very knowledgeable and super friendly. She does have cats but it didn't seem to bother any of my dogs or bother her while she was working. She took her time and you can really tell that she enjoys working with animals. The location is ideal for Niskayuna, Schenectady, Rotterdam, Altamont and Scotia residents as it is on Dodge Street for all grooming needs including cats and dogs. The appointments had a arrival window of a hour early to a hour later for arrival from your appointment time. We had a few times where they even canceled due to emergencies and we didn't mind. This last time my dogs were scheduled they literally just never showed. I had reached out to them and still have yet to receive response back. I am very surprised they would just ghost a client. I would definitely not recommend because that is very unprofessional.

She initially said the price would be $50 and then when I went to pick him up she said Oh I'm glad you brought your checkbook - it's $60! She yelled at ME because I was about to cry when I saw my cute Pomeranian shaved bald, but she left long hair around his head, neck & half-way down his back??!!! It was absolutely hideous and he doesn't even look like a dog?!!! It's not even healthy for a dog to be shaved like that. Now I have to be careful with itching and infection and he definitely can't go out in the sun because I'll have to watch for sunburn. I wish I could post pictures on here because they speak for themselves. PLEASE, whatever you do, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!
