Further, she was so friendly and helpful with tips and advice and made me feel completely comfortable. Waxing isn't typically a "relaxing" beauty treatment but that's exactly how I felt! The mani/pedi was fine, but if I were to pay for it myself, it wouldn't be worth it. The nail tech Anna was friendly and we had good conversation, but I think the salon focuses on mostly just scrubs and polish because there was no cuticle care or nail prep prior to polish. The massage I had was with Beth and although she was running a few minutes behind and had to step away for something at the front of the house, she still gave me the full 50 minute massage and it was wonderful. My muscles have never felt so light in my life. I got the full educational experience (which I loved) and I got to learn about how to massage my tension points at home between massage sessions as well because I hold a lot of tension in my shoulders and neck. The place was clean, the massage rooms were quiet and relaxing. I would 100% recommend a massage there from Beth if you're really looking for a deep tissue massage, but I would pass on the mani/pedi unless you're just looking for something super simple with basic nail polish.

If this footage is deleted or not provided to the authorities upon request, it will be documented as an intentional attempt to conceal evidence of discrimination and unprofessional conduct." I had a deeply upsetting experience at this salon with a technician named Lee. From the moment I sat down, he was extremely rude, snapping his fingers at me to give directions instead of speaking. The situation escalated when he heard me speaking my native language on the phone. He made derogatory remarks about it and showed clear hostility. When I calmly addressed his behavior and asked for professional treatment, Lee became aggressive, started shouting, and ultimately refused to finish my manicure. He left my nails completely unfinished and without polish. It is unacceptable for a business to treat customers this way or to mock someone's language. I felt discriminated against and unsafe due to his hostility. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place, especially if you expect to be treated with basic human decency.

Purity Nail Garden caught my eye immediately with one of the highest ratings within my search (dozens of glowing reviews.) I then went directly to their website and Instagram page to get a better overview. I tried to book online but my request was a bit complicated and I was hoping for an appointment within a day or two. Within a few hours the owners husband called. He helped navigate scheduling for the services to ensure all services were timely and smooth. I was impressed with the call, and we had an enjoyable chat about naturopathy. Forward to today. Okay....what a darling hidden gem! I had no idea they even existed, despite passing by it numerous times per week. Upon walking in, patrons are greeted with ample natural light, a plethora of greenery and a space that in my opinion, oozes relaxation! Oh, the biggest thing I noticed was how clean and non cluttered the space was. Fabulous relaxing music. Truly inviting and the perfect setting to decompress and rejuvenate quietly. Of course they serve wine and such for an additional fee; I passed, however if it were later in the day I may have indulged:) Sophia was my nail technician and was SUPERB! I appreciate when I'm asked periodically how the experience is. She made sure to ask me if water was warm enough, etc. She was conscientious and clearly takes pride in her craft. She soaked off my acrylics, gave me the most fabulous SWING PEDICURE! I never knew just how relaxing a pedicure is when sitting in a swing. I highly recommend it as there's a natural nature to subtly rock back and forth....hence elevating the experience. Finally, she gave me a lovely manicure with a simple clear coat of polish. I arrived on time, only to have a completely different technician sit down to do my nails. When I mentioned I had booked with someone else, I was shown the technician I requested, who was doing another customer's pedicure. I understand things happen, but what's the point of allowing customers to book a specific technician if the appointment isn't honored or communicated beforehand? The technician who did my nails was okay, but the experience was disappointing. I won't be back.
