My daughter had disclosed her recent surgery when she booked more than two months ago and was specifically told how long she needed to wait before coming in. We arranged our entire day around this appointment, and I personally rearranged my schedule to accompany her. After we arrived, Marie began raising additional concerns about whether my daughter could be treated, despite the fact that the recent surgery had already been disclosed when the appointment was made. We were then left waiting while the situation was reviewed. It was extremely frustrating to watch my daughter do everything she had been instructed to do, only to have Marie raise these issues after we had already arrived. If additional clearance or review was necessary, this should have been addressed before the appointment rather than after we had both arranged our schedules and come to the studio. Cheyenne, on the other hand, was wonderful. She was very apologetic, listened to our concerns, and handled the situation professionally. I really appreciated her kindness. Unfortunately, our experience with Marie was very different and made what should have been a straightforward appointment unnecessarily stressful and frustrating.

The receptionist assured me everything was fine and told me to come in anyway, saying they would "work something out." After I arrived, I was told by the receptionist very rudely too there wasn't enough time to numb the area before my filler and that I would have to go through it without any numbing medication. I found that completely unacceptable. Their scheduling issue should never become the patient's problem, especially when it involves unnecessary pain. Only after I firmly objected then she suddenly decide they could numb the area after all. That tells me it was possible all along, but I had to argue just to receive the standard level of care. This entire experience was disorganized, stressful, and unprofessional. Canceling an appointment while a patient is already on the way, then asking them to accept a painful procedure because the office was behind schedule, is not how patients should be treated.
