I picked Leo after reading his reviews here on Yelp. He replied to my inquiry, set up an…read moreappointment and came to look at our LG dishwasher that had been making a strange noise. Within minutes he was able to diagnose the problem, He told me he would look up the cost of the part and get back to me. It wasn't 2 hours later he texted me a price. It was during this time that I realized that it was still under warranty and while on the phone with LG, was texting with Leo to ask questions. I was able to get him set up to be able to order the part from LG for free under our warranty. It took a couple days, but he stayed in contact with me and after a few days of waiting, informed that the part had arrived. We scheduled a time for him to install and he came this morning to do the job. He was quick and efficient and it was about 35 mins and the job was complete. The dishwasher sounds like it did before and we can't be happier with the job. He charged us for his time only, just as we discussed. I hope I don't have to call him again for something else broken, but if I do, won't hesitate. Also, I plan to also share his info with anyone I know who needs an appliance fixed. A true and honest repairman- so rare to find these days. Call him, you won't be disappointed!

The diagnosis was free and accurate (this is the main reason for 4 stars). However, the issue is that the quoted replacement part was extremely high, and the quoted labor cost for replacement covered about one hour of work. I guess that the "free" diagnosis won't be free after all if I followed up and agreed to proceed. Speaking of time, the replacement part is no longer available new anywhere, and if I had bought a correct replacement, it would take less than 10 minutes to replace it. The alternative repair was done by me/DIY by following a YouTube video, and no parts were required.

The compressor on my LG fridge died, but thankfully it was still under warranty. LG assigned my…read morerepair to Total Appliance Solutions. After seeing the very poor Yelp reviews, I asked LG for another certified provider, but TAS was the only option in my area (West Chester, PA). SCHEDULING: Like many reviewers noted, scheduling was the biggest issue. TAS texted me right away asking for information I had already given LG, but I sent it again. When I clicked the link in their message, I saw an appointment had already been set for the next day with no time window. Although I appreciate the next day service, I had an afternoon commitment, so I called to ask for an estimate. The person I spoke with was courteous and told the window was 8am-6pm, and that I'd get an updated time later. I emphasized I couldn't do anything after 2:30pm. The updated text arrived with a 2pm-6pm window --exactly when I wasn't available! I didn't want to risk rescheduling confusion, so I asked a neighbor to keep an eye out. The next day, despite still being within the hours of 2-6pm, by 5:10pm I had no update as to when the technician would arrive. When I called for a status, the receptionist said the tech was running behind and would arrive after 6pm & asked if that was still acceptable. I agreed, but the lack of communication was stressful and matches many of the complaints here. This is the reason I've deducted one star. SERVICE: Dmitry, the technician, called at 6pm to let me know he was behind schedule and would arrive around 6:45pm also asking if that was okay. I appreciated the courtesy. He showed up exactly when he said he would and was VERY professional, organized, and communicative; especially impressive considering I was his last call of the day. After diagnosing the compressor failure, he explained the repair would take about two hours and gave me the option to reschedule for the next day. He was very respectful of my time. He did a fantastic job replacing the compressor and stayed until the job was done. Never did I feel like he was trying to rush to leave given how late it was and didn't leave until 8:45pm. I wish every technician was like Dmitri. Dmitry is the reason this is a 4‑star review instead of lower. If TAS improved their scheduling transparency and communication, this would easily be a 5‑star experience. If TAS reads this: more technicians should follow Dmitry's example in customer service excellence. He represents your company exceptionally well.

I would like to begin by addressing my recent 'one' star review of this yelp business account. I…read morewas notified that my review was taken down due to lack of detail. compounded by, I think, the owner of this account said he had no record of me in his files. Last Fall I had an issue with my refrigerator. It was only three years old and stopped maintaining desired cold temperature. When the technician arrived we discussed the problem and he began troubleshooting the issue. Subsequently, he then dismantled the interior of my appliance. Then accessed the refrigerators self diagnostic system. The verdict was, it could be the mother board, but couldn't guarantee that was the problem, but a likely culprit. I decided to move forward with replacing the mother board since the unit was brand new when I purchased this home, three years earlier. After repair was completed ten days later and payment in full for parts and labor. It was apparent the mother board was not the issue and the same problem persisted. I sent a text to Angel Appliance to see if the new part was of any value and I might be prorated for it or any parts that might be useful to Angel Appliance on any future repair that they might encounter ( as I had decided to replace the appliance ). I did not receive a response to my text. After purchasing and installing a new refrigerator, I had a similar issue develop with the new unit. I called my electrician who checked my electrical panel and all was in order. However, the receptacle behind the fridge turned out to be tied in to an adjoining GFI receptacle, a definite no-no according to my electrician and the apparent source of my problem. One of the first, if not the first of troubleshooting considerations. What I've learned... I purchased this home after it was flipped subsequent to a complete remodel. I recommend to anyone who buys a flipped property to do a deep dive into infrastructure during your pre purchase home inspection, especially your electrical components. Thanks yelp, for the opportunity to resubmit a more detailed review. Also I would like to upgrade my previous review to three stars. For four reasons. 1. Yelp's support of their business account holders and their requests for review scrutiny. 2. A valuable lesson in doing in depth research. 3. The opportunity we all have to live and learn via our personal and business experiences. 4. This business account holders vigilance in monitoring his account reviews ( especially the ones that aren't 5 star ). Seriously, no need to get all defensive. I did't correct my review, I simply added more detail at Yelp's request, after my previous one was taken down, So, thanks for the opportunity to post an honest detailed review. I mean you have only three reviews on your page, Also, it wasn't three years ago, it was last Fall 2025 ( and you said I didn't exist in your files ). My point was, since it seems to have escaped you. First things first, had you done troubleshooting the simplest thing first ( the receptacle ) as my electrician indicated, "Should have been one of the first, if not the very first" thing to look at. We both could have saved lots of time and money. A three star review seems quite adequate. Enjoy! And congratulations 50 years in business!
