Decent Chinese food at a reasonable price. I opted for just appetizers and was readily impressed with their pan fried dumplings that a greater crisp than many but clearly weren't deep fried. The filling was plumped and meaty. Lunch sized specials are a reasonable deal with soup or egg roll but not both as at most establishments. The quality was top notch.

The food here is authentic & amazing!!! They have a lot of great options on the lunch menu and it is all priced really well. We had the sweetest waitress who took care of us quickly and she was so kind. It was very clean inside too. Definitely recommend trying the Pork egg rolls, Kung Pao Triple Delight, and General Tso Chicken! It was all sooo good!!! Also, the soup that comes with the lunch special comes with free crunchy wontons that were great! Can't wait to tell my family it and return in the future!

I wrote a glowing 5 star review for this restaurant 2 years ago. I suspect that the original owners sold out. The recipes are different. Fried rice is rice with soy sauce bit of egg. That's it, no green onion or veg at all. Chicken Broccoli is tough and sliced. Flavor is okay. Hubs always orders WonTon soup. Broth isn't the same. Very bland. We've tried it twice lately just to see if maybe it was an off night. The delivery service however is quite quick. We're disappointed that it's not the same recipes. read more

Just had lunch here and I hate to say it but I will have to split my dining with T Jin and this place. Food was really good and fresh! I had the orange chicken and all the flavors were there and the chicken was not dry. The place is clean and well maintained. I look forward to being back and trying different things. read more

first the good: diverse menu, friendly staff and fresh veggies. We liked the veggie rolls, the shrimp rolls seemed home made. The schezuan eggplant had a great flavor. The hunan shrimp was way over cooked. One could not cut the shrimp with a fork and if we were in a restaurant we would have definitely sent it back. Still debating if we will go back. read more

My husband and I loved it! He got Generals Tso's Chicken I got the Dragon and Phoenix we got pork egg rolls and fried rice!! This is the closes I've had to Chinese food matching what I'm use to from up north. So we really enjoyed our date night. Quite inside the food was super hot. The food here is great, it is definitely one of those "great Chinese" restaurants that are hard to come by. We ordered a variety of things and everything we tried was good. Now the service was a bit slow but I think it has to do with them actually cooking the food, so you know it's decent. The restaurant itself is quiet nice and looks very clean. Wow! Finally a restaurant with delicious food! We are originally from Spring area and we've been spoiled with great restaurants even way before they developed the area. Since we've moved down here almost ten years ago, we have not found very many good restaurants, especially Chinese food. This place did not disappoint! We ordered pork fried rice since it was recommended on here (thank you for the recommendation!), General Tso's Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and pork egg rolls. They also allow you to order extra sauce of different kinds! I've never seen that before and oh boy what a treat! We ordered extra General Tso's sauce and sweet and sour. It was ALLLLLLL delicious!!!! The food was also warm. We had it delivered and it came pretty quickly considering it was New Year's Eve. Thank you L & A China Cafe! Here's the lowdown on my takeout experience: Steamed Dumplings: These were solid. The pork filling was tasty and well-seasoned, but the wrapper was a bit on the thick side--more "cozy blanket" than "delicate wrap." Still, they did the job. General Tso's Chicken: The star of the meal. Seven good-sized pieces, cooked perfectly. The chicken was moist, the sauce was flavorful, and honestly, I wouldn't mind if they gave me a couple more pieces. Shrimp & Vegetables: This one was a bit more understated. The shrimp were impressively large and cooked well, but the light white sauce was a little bland. Nothing wrong with it, just not super exciting. Fried Rice: It was... fine. Nicely cooked but not much flavor to write home about. It felt more like a sidekick than a main player. Fried Dough: Now this was a treat! Light, airy, and rolled in sugar, it hit the spot. But here's the catch: you have to eat it warm. Once it cools down, it's not the same. Service and Experience: The order was ready quickly, the lady at the counter was friendly, and the place looked clean. By the time I got home 20 minutes later, the food was still warm, which I appreciate. The Bottom Line: The food was tasty overall, though not cheap at $39 and change. General Tso's and fried dough were the highlights, while the rice and shrimp could use a little more oomph. Would I order again? Sure--but maybe with some soy sauce on hand for backup. read more

Wanted to try a new Chinese restaurant that delivered, so we to decided give this place a try. Online ordering was easy peasy. We were impressed with their extensive menu selections. Once we ordered, our delivery promptly arrived in about 30 minutes. We chose an array of items from egg rolls, wonton soup, wings, chicken fried rice, garlic shrimp, and sweet and sour chicken. Each generously proportioned item arrived piping hot, appeared freshly prepared and tasted delicious! So happy we stumbled upon this little gem. We look forward to trying more menu items and will definitely be ordering again in the near future. Thanks L & A, keep up the good work! read more
