We were all ready for lunch and two coworkers recommended this place. We were quickly greeted. This place easily accommodated our party of nine. I ordered the beef jalapeño off the lunch menu; it comes with choice of spring roll, hot and sour soup, wonton soup or egg drop soup. I opted for the hot and sour soup. The soups and spring roll for the group came out quick. Everything was very tasty, in fact, it was so tasty they ordered additional spring rolls. Our entrees come out shortly after. Literally the fastest meal delivery you will ever find -- delicious, quality ingredients and great service too. We love Bao's and it's our go-to for Chinese delivery. We love the sesame chicken, general tso chicken, Mongolian beef, special fried rice, special lo mein, and the hot and sour soup is great too. The only thing I've tried that I don't care for are the steamed pot stickers. Those were kind of wet and had a huge ball of meat mixture on the inside that seemed underseasoned. The lady that took our order was rushing us and she forgot to bring food items but then got mad because apparently with her rushing she didn't write it down. Bao's is my favorite place for lunch. Their lunch menu is available till 3 pm seven days a week. It's awesome to have a lunch option on the weekends, especially on Sunday. My lunch yesterday was perfection. So hot and fresh. I love the hot and sour soup, cashew chicken, and brown rice. It is a frequent order, but this time it was more delicious than ever. Best egg drop soup I've ever had. The main dishes are consistent and decent (not the best I've ever had but it's not disappointing). The crab Rangoons are a waste of money they're basically all breading with a tiny bit of a very dry filling. They give us the check while the food is coming out. sometimes we would like to order other things but they already give us the check so we don't. If there was any place that ever deserved a whopping ZERO STARS it would be Bao's Asian Cafe. Thing were fine until about 10 minutes after receiving my entrée. I noticed a LIVING LARVAE making its way from my garnish to my Szechuan Beef and Scallops. I nearly barfed on the booth table. Upon alerting my server, he insisted that the maggot-like creature only came from the parsley. He then offered to have my meal remade but of course I no longer had interest in anything coming from that kitchen. I left without paying and feeling like I was entitled to compensation for the full blown TRAUMA I experienced and the hands of this establishment. I am shocked this place had so many great reviews. But I did only try this place once, and their service was spectacular and they had strong COVID regulations at the time. So I do think that may be the case. However, I do feel that their food did not have as much flavor for being Asian cuisine. I think if the food had more flavor personally this place would get a better rating from me. But the service was good but the food was a no thank you. Well after a long day of laundry, house cleaning and a last minute delivery. We decided to order from one of our favorite locals, Bao's Asian Cafe for delivery. Well normally very quick with deliver and hot food too, we only 5 minutes from their restaurant. Door rang after waiting 45 minutes, the food was left in front of the door on our welcome mat. The driver didn't even wait to see us get it off the porch. After getting it in the house and taking it out of the bag it was warm but not at all hot. It was not their best, but we were hungry and it was good but not their best! Will be awhile before we order again. If your in the Rosenberg area try them in their restaurant. Honestly, when this place first opened, I was very displeased by the customer service. To the point that I said, I will never return. I gave this place another chance a year ago and I never updated my other review. This place is definitely our go to spot. I have zero complaints now and I believe maybe they were just stressed because opening a restaurant is definitely stressful so I shouldn't have judged them so quickly. I would have loved to give 5 stars but unfortunately I can't. We started off with green teas that were really good (I highly reccomend the mango green tea) I always ask at any Asian restaurant about the cross contamination of food due to my high allergy to shellfish. Sadly they came back to our table and said I would not be able to eat anything off the menu not even the lo mein (beef). I was disappointed but was trying to be understanding at the same time. The waitress did verify the pot stickers were safe for me to eat, still I was sad that I couldn't eat what I really wanted on the menu. My boyfriend on the other hand had a great experience he loved the sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. He said he would definitely be back to order more. Over all the place seems great and that's why I give it a 4 star. Hopefully they can make it to where they seperate oils and even take extra precautions like other restaurants so people who have severe food allergies can enjoy other dishes on the menu...then I'll be back until then only my boyfriend can enjoy it. read more

Last few visits, the fried rice was disgusting! The chicken fried rice literally only comes with rice, chicken, and a very small amount of onion and egg. After adding extra egg (really barely resulting in normal egg) and bean sprouts, rice is over $14. Last order was disgusting, super bland, tons of rice with little soy sauce, almost no chicken, and they forgot the extra egg. I requested the extra egg, and they gave it to me on the side. I get home to realize the egg was rotten, super greasy, dang near black. I will NEVER eat here again! read more

As I was leaving Lowe's on TX-36 I noticed Bao's Asian Infusion restaurant across the highway. Open a couple of months now and located in the new strip center next door to Whataburger. The interior is warm and attractive with an abundance of wood. The restaurant is laid out well maximising the floor space with banquette seating, 4-top tables, 4 booths and 8 bar seats. The menu offers the standard Asian fare at affordable prices. I ordered carryout of Crab Rangoon (6 piece), a large Egg Drop Soup and a Combination Fried Rice. The Egg Drop Soup was truly excellent, rich body and so flavorful. The Crab Rangoon was not one of my favorites as the wontons were thicker than I prefer. Acceptable, just not as thin and light as I would rather have. The Combo Fried Rice was delicious with a respectable amount of bite size chicken, tender beef and large shrimp. The rice was tender, light and fluffy. The generous portion was enough for three meals for me. You can easily split with someone or have multiple meals. Whether you dine in or carryout, I recommend checking out this new restaurant. read more

This is a brand new spot that recently opened in Rosenberg and there aren't many Asian spots in the area! With that said, I'm excited they are here. The cuisine is authentic and not just typical to-go Chinese food. There is also wine here!! The waiters are attentive and friendly and honestly don't know about Yelp even though I tried explaining it.
