Garlic chicken with wonton soup and spring roll and house Mei Fun
    Chris H.

I'd like to start by saying the 10% discount for online ordering that I was reading in other reviews is now 5%. I've tried the dinner special of garlic chicken and another chicken dish that I don't remember and everything tasted pretty good. I've also had the house Mei Fun and beef Mei Fun and they it hit the spot. I've been searching for a go-to, greasy noodle spot for about a year now and Wok One will suffice - for now. If anyone has any suggestions for the Stafford, Sugar Land, Meadows area send me a message.

Box full of wings for less than $10? Service was good and fast. Could they have tasted better? Yeah but they were still seasoned well and tasted amazing. Would come back again anytime

Tiny Chinese take-out and delivery counter with 2 small tables for 2 for those choosing to eat here. Friendly proprietors offer hot, delicious dishes in huge servings for a ridiculously low price. I had Beef Mai Fun ($7.95) with tender slices of beef accompanied by rice vermicelli, onion, garlic, carrots and bean sprouts in a savory sauce. Great place to grab a bite before catching a movie at AMC. We will definitely be back.

I have been looking for an actual Chinese restaurant for a while and I stumbled on this one....can you say yummmmmm The service is friendly and welcoming and they have a good variety....I ordered shrimp fried rice, Mongolian shrimp, cheese puffs, vegetable egg rolls and wonton soup...I didn't eat everything but I tried each dish and all were fresh and well prepared....the shrimp fried rice had a good amount of shrimp and a nice mix of vegetables and was great enough on its own with no assistance from soy or duck sauce....if you order and pick up, you get a 10% discount and apparently they deliver as well.....I am out of the delivery zone but I definitely will return

We ordered the following items: Hot boiled fish 5/5 excellent. So flavorful and vibrant. Loved the presentation. Spicy cubed chicken 5/5. Absolute delicious. Also very well presented and bursting with flavor. You will feel the numbing of the tongue. Gen tso. 4/5. Also pretty good. Just a tad too much sweet, especially with the gravy. Dried green beans 5/5. Delicious. It was throughly laced with garlic and the flavor n texture was just right! A big bowl of rice accompanied the items I will be back here soon.

OVERVIEW: this is a homey small restaurant. It is simple, cozy but spacious enough to feel relaxed…read more FOOD QUALITY: Not very convincing. Very heavy handed with salt even though the person in my party that placed the order specifically told the waitress to tone down on the salt. We also asked for no MSG but they turned to sugar instead so the dishes were a little altered beyond recognition. Specifically, I ordered their Szechuan peppercorn beef. As far as I know, this dish is always all savory and there should not be any sweetness. But, when I took the first bite, it was mildly sweet. Weird! Looks like for the rest of the dishes that has sauce, they used the same dark colored sauce; so, they tasted the same. Not a lot of imagination and creativity in their cooking. SERVICE: They are quite attentive in this area. So, I would give them 4 out of 5 stars in this area. VERDICT: Would I return? Probably not. When it comes to Chinese foods, the dishes need to be superior in their taste. You really need to have skills to survive as a Chinese restaurant.

I swear it's just one really long hand made noodle, so it's a bit hard to share, but it's a must-get. We also tried the Claypot noodle and it was good as well but a bit of an acquired taste. The restaurant is located inside Jusgo grocery store. The seating is quite limited so I wouldn't recommend it for large parties. And it's pretty mom and pop, so if that's your jam, go for it. Chairs are mismatched, drinking water is somewhat self-service in small cafeteria-style plastic cups, and tables are small. Like I said - mom and pop, and that's not a bad thing. It's just not exactly a place where you would have a nice business meeting. Service was ok - nothing to note. You pay at the cashier which is like 2 feet from where you ate. Yes, it's a small space. Overall - I love this place and will keep coming back.

The staff looked very presentable and were attentive, yet also gave us space to look over the menu and eat. Speaking of the menu, I really enjoyed checking items off of a paper menu, it felt very old-school. I was there with my parents, and we decided to get a couple entrees to split family-style. We got ban ban noodles, yibin noodles, pork and crab dumplings, a breadier kind of dumpling which I think had pork in it, a scallion pancake, a beef pancake roll, and chrysanthemum tea. All were delicious, no complaints. My favorites were definitely the bready meat dumpling, it just melted in your mouth, and the yibin noodles. I also really enjoyed the chrysanthemum tea; they delivered a big pot and several cups, and there was enough in the pot to fill each of our cups three or four times. The prices of all were not too bad, too. I will definitely be back, hopefully soon. Just a really comfortable place with great food and good service.

I think the large window plus summer sun made for a greenhouse effect. There are many vegetarian options but I thought the overall flavor for the food was just average. Service was also slow and we had to call wait staff ourselves to ask for the check, water, etc. -Dan Dan noodle - because of the peppercorn leaves a tingling taste on your tongue similar to mapo tofu -Vegetarian spicy ma la noodle - also left a similar tingling taste. Although it was rated as a spicy dish I thought spice level was on the mild end. -Vegetarian dumplings - flavor was just average for this as well. It tasted a little bland to me -Sweet and sour cucumbers - overall liked the flavors although it is a very strong sweet and sour flavor. The cucumbers were cut into a unique shape.
