The first call was disconnected by the person who answered. A subsequent call was not answered, and I ultimately reached the store from another number and was told the item was in stock. When I arrived, a different employee assisted me and completed the sale. During checkout, the employee opened the product box without my request while responding to a product-related question. The question could have been answered without opening the packaging. The item was not needed and remained unused. When I attempted to return it, I was informed that the store does not accept returns under any circumstances. This policy was not disclosed at the time of purchase and is not stated on the receipt. Under California consumer expectations, material terms such as a no-return policy should be clearly disclosed prior to purchase so customers can make informed decisions...especially when packaging is opened by store staff. Posting this so other customers are aware of the store's policies before purchasing. De acuerdo con las expectativas de protección al consumidor en California, las políticas materiales...como la política de no devoluciones....deben comunicarse claramente antes de completar una compra, especialmente cuando el empaque es abierto por el personal de la tienda. Comparto esta información para que otros clientes tengan en cuenta esta política antes de realizar una compra.

They share a space with a florist that is open during the week, so I got confused and thought they opened during the week. They're not. The space is not huge, but it was fun to prowl around the different sections and find hidden treasures from Japan. The owner is really good about taking time to explain what each item is and the different uses, as well as care and handling. This place is such a huge contrast to shopping at Walmart. Made me think of a small town hardware shop that is the heart of the community with people stopping by to have keys made or knives sharpened or whatever random thing they need. These kinds of places are treasures! Definitely worth a visit and definitely worth supporting. Glad I did!

So I take my time selecting what I need versus what I want especially because I don't know when I will have the next chance to return. I easily spend several hundreds of dollars here buying my chisels and other carving hand tools. It's cool that the worker remembers who I am (excellent service). The owner himself takes the time to show me the various chisels that they have and you can tell just by listening to him talk the pride he has for the tools that he carries.

The shower is leaking and the lawn needs watering, so I jumped into the car to get what I need. Although this is an Ace store, coupons are site specific and are not shared among the hardware stores. Oh well, I'll need to be more careful reading that fine print, but got what I needed and not wasting time looking for the right hardware. Although not the cheapest, it is the most convenient to my home, so I'll be shopping here for a little longer...

Trash bag thing to say about someone you don't know. The sarcastic attitude is as foolish as him. Also, if you reserve on Uhaul and give them your card on the phone, you cannot charge that card. You will need a physical card to pickup and Hane will not take a card over the phone or through the Uhaul app or website or phone, so DO NOT SEND authorized drivers or movers. You physically have to be there to give them a card.
