Yep, read all the negative reviews before I posted mine and there spot on. Went there twice on 2 different days and first time whoever works in the morning was just rude. No emotion didn't say hello. Barely want to even help me but whatever I ordered apart online so I was just picking it up. Went back the next day, online it says the close at 6:30 I got there at 6:03. As soon as I walk in a man and a lady are just standing there talking and laughing and they instantly look at me and say "oh we're closed" even though the door is wide open and then they're just sitting there kicking the shit. I just stand there with a blank face cuz I'm like...really.. it's damn near 30min till close time and yall are literally doing nothing. Lady says.. "well do you know what you need?" Cuz she knew I was like wtf.. so that was her attempt to help me, but I was returning something.. I knew it was gana be an issue so I just turn around and walked out.. they literally walked right behind me and closed the door n locked it. Stood there n watch me go to my car. You think they would help me when there's still 30 minutes to the store closes and there's nobody in there. It's not like they're busy. I'm the only customer in there. Pathetic il never step foot in there again. read more

Bought a tool bag here yesterday younger guy help me out nice guy. . I went to return the item today and an older gentleman told me there was no returns on "TOOLS" Never was that mentioned to me , and secondly a tool bag isn't a "TOOL". lastly some middle aged lady gave me attitude swearing she sold me the bag not sure if she was racial profiling or what but the employee that sold me the item was a guy. I'll be sure to take my companies business elsewhere read more

Stopped coming for a while because nothing was in stock and customer service was bad. Last week I was in a bind so I gave LB Johnson's another chance. Miguel Raygozo was quick to get me what I needed and out there door and back on my job site, terrific guy. A week later I came in again and another gentleman (I will get his name next Time I see him) got me outta a bind due a job that required some unusual hardware. Great to see a change in the store operations, gunna keep coming back for all my misc hardware needs. read more

should never buy from this store. I bought a part from this store online and was not able to return the part for a refund. .was for my water heater. I didn't need the part after all and it was the wrong part also. On my reciept it said you can do returns within 30 days andon the box someone wrote no returns or refunds written in pen small. online the part said it was returnable and when i picked it up the worker didn't say all the sale was final. read more

i was in dire need of tools and this place seemed to always fulfill my businesses needs until last week. Lazy but yet rude costumer service. some guy with glasses didn't want to help me out and stayed in the computer and some lady worker forcing me to buy something way more expensive than what i can get at home depot. i've been shopping here for about approximately 4 years now and the best costumer service i got was last year. somehow starting the new year the workers have got worse and worse. I called this morning to ask if they had a tool available and they said yes 3 in stock. I took the drive and when I got there the older gentleman was so rude. He just said "we don't have it. They didn't check the floor. Oh well" so I told him can you please check I called and I made a far drive. He gives me "I said we don't have it and we don't have it" I was so disappointed this store usually gives excellent customer service and every nice and welcoming but today it was the complete opposite. read more

Great place for nuts and bolts they have all the sizes and styles and different types of material stainless steel grade 8 and tiny small screws and nuts they have everything that Lowes has and Home Depot combine minus the lumber, gardening,etc read more

They say they're an industrial hardware store, but they don't carry much of anything you'd need for industrial purposes. It's all the same stuff you can buy at Home Depot, but it costs more. I have tried to buy things on several occasions, but they rarely have what I want. And their staff is not knowledgeable or helpful. Today, I went in to buy some screws, I had a sample of the screw I needed. It was a small flathead screw metric size. I get shown standard size screws of random length, threading, and head type. I explain again that the screw I handed them is the type I want, and they continue to point to random screws. So I went across the street and got the screw I needed. read more

Wow, I just found my new hardware store. I love their selection of nuts an bolts. They have a better selection than home Depot and Lowe's. I'll be coming here more often. There's always someone on the floor that can assist you and answer all your questions. No long lines to wait and parking is easy. read more

LB Johnson is an industrial hardware store, which means they will actually carry most any type of fastener you could need. From standard hex bolts and machine screws to roll pins, taper pins, and shoulder bolts they pretty much have it. They also carry your typical plumbing, electrical and tools, but that is not really their strong suit. The stores themselves are fairly rough looking and I don't think anyone there knows how to dust anything off. But I don't go there for the atmosphere, I go there because I need hardware and they have it in spades. The Sante Fe Springs store is much better organized than the Commerce store when it comes to hardware, though I think the Commerce store has a larger overall inventory in the other departments. read more

Have come to this store many times and never really got great customer service the guy I think his name was Rudy walked away when I asked for help and never came back. Came here recently and received the best customer service from Paul. He was polite, outgoing and super helpful. They need to hire more Pauls at this store, he made a huge difference in my shopping experience. From now on I will only deal with Paul when I shop this store. read more
