I used to eat here a lot but I noticed they changed up everything from the food to the people.

This is a nice neighborhood casual Chinese restaurant. We were kindly greeted when we came to the counter to order. There is a large menu that is similar to other Chinese restaurants. The food came out quickly and was made to order. We had the General Tso's chicken which was hot and tasty. It came with soup and an egg roll. The staff intermittently would come by making sure we had water or needed anything else. Restaurant is in a large shopping strip with shared parking lot. Will return! read more

Last minute order for a family gathering of 11 people tonight. We ordered 3 boxes of dumplings, 2 each of the general tsos/Mongolian beef/peppered steak/sweat & sour. And each chicken plate came with a box of rice (we ordered fried rice for everyone). We ordered online and it was ready on time. We loved all the food and it was more than enough to feed 11 people. They also gave plenty of soy sauce, dumpling sauce, sweet&sour sauce, and fortune cookies. Only wish the dumplings were more crispy but thats just a personal preference Not a con or even a pro- the food is very typical of Chinese food , the necessarily the most traditional so you wouldn't have to be worried about the flavors being too much if that makes sense. read more

This by far the best Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. Never disappoints. This is my to go every Sunday. Their Thai noodles, general chicken, pork fried rice, red Thai curry I mean just anything from their menu always hits the spot. We've frequented this place since they opened. In the last 2 years, it's/the food has gone down hill. Kung Pao Shrimp too hot to even eat, 2 years ago one of their best dishes. Fried rice, the rice is dry and the eggs were dried like paper. Mushu pork, meat riddled with uncooked fat, boiled and gross. Dan Dan noodles using so much chili oil it burns your mouth. I don't know if they've changed ownership or cooks but it is sad. My 2 picky eaters their meals seem to remain unchanged. read more

I have been ordering from here for many years. The food is always hot and fresh, until today. I have not ordered from here in a while, but was craving their Pad Thai. It is my go to dish. They must have a new cook as the dish was different and spicier than normal. The spice was fine; however, the noodles were very dark and dried out as if they had used leftover noodles. Not sure if I will be back but I will be checking recent reviews before I make my decision. read more

Have been ordering from them for SEVERAL years. I have ordered the same meal today that I have always ordered. IT WAS AWFUL!! It was NOT what I ordered. It even looked "not right". I called the restaurant and told them. They wanted me to bring the order in so they could look at it. I was EXHAUSTED and told them this. It pains me to write this. I have been a huge fan of L & L Chinese for years. I've told many about the quality of the food and the polite service. I had made my plans to have lunch and was so looking forward to it. Everything looks the same. Except the waitress was different. This waitress was on the phone talking in her language and only lowered the ear piece to ask what I wanted for drink....water I told her, as I sat myself. I was suspect when the water came in a glass. No kidding!! Prior to this visit it had always come in a togo soup container. I ordered my regular which is Beef and Broccoli with Hot/Sour Soup, white rice. Still on the phone the lady took my order. I was surprised when the beef/broccoli came out first, no soup no rice. I reminded the waitress of my soup and she brought that along with the rice in a small bowl. This was very different from how I was served last time. Now all my food is there at once. OK. Looks good though. I tried Hot/Sour soup. What a dissapointment. This soup had all the personality of Lipton's CupOSoup. No Mushrooms, no dried lily flower, no bamboo shoot and definitely no pork. Just a few sad pieces of tofu and a little egg. No character at all. Probably a dry mix. All the while the waitress is still on the phone. Another person comes in to pick up their order.....still on phone. She NEVER put down the phone to help him. She just stuffed napkins and condiments wordlessly into the bag. Now the Beef and Broccoli. Looks great, piping hot. But meat is tough and has a beef roast taste to it. Not the same cut of meat I'm used to getting here. Plus it needed to be velveted more. Egg Roll was good. So what do you do when your meal is not bad, but it's not up to your previous expectations? When I paid, I asked the waitress if they were under new management. She said yes and owner. I nodded my head..."I could tell". And asked same chef, she said no. There's your answer right there. Only thing the same was decor and the name. She askedif my food was better or worse then before I said "it's not better", but at least she was off the phone. read more

Wow! This place rocks! From start to end, this was a great experience. The website for ordering is very user friendly and easy to navigate. The communication after ordering is timely and precise. Delivery ($1.00 fee) was quoted for 55 minutes, but arrived piping hot in 29 minutes. We started with chicken wings and pan fried dumplings. Fresh, tasty and large portions. For our main entrees, we ordered 2 dinner specials (Mongolian beef and Kung Pao chicken) which comes with an eggroll (vegetable or pork), rice (steamed or fried) and your choice of soup ( hot 'n sour, wonton or eggdrop). Each menu item was $12.00 for all of the above. The spice level of the meals was perfection! Both were delicious and good portion size. We have leftovers! The pork eggrolls were fried well and very good. The soups were wonderful and even the rice was good. With so much bad Chinese food lately, I am happy to report we have found our place in this area of town. Deliciousness, quality and value. I would have given 10 stars if I could' Very impressed! $46.08, including 18% tip, for a great meal with leftover. That's awesome! read more

Everything is made fresh! As we walked in we were greeted, we ordered the Salt & pepper fish with fried rice, and egg drop soups. The fried rice was made fresh, as well as our dish and soup. Everything was delicious and had its own unique flavor. The service was substantial! The Ambiance was nice and comfortable. Can you give a no stars review? The food poisoning my husband suffered after our takeout from L&L resulted in a trip to the ER and overnight in the hospital to receive IV fluids and antibiotics. Stay away from the fried rice and orange chicken. read more

I ordered 4 orders of shrimp spring rolls. All of them were severely broken when I picked them up to eat. I called the restaurant and they told me to bring the rolls back up there. They also said it was the cooks mistake and he will have to pay because that's how it goes. I chose to keep the broken rolls because I did not want the cook to be punished for the mistake. I didn't think he should have to pay for them out of his own pocket. Kind of unfair is u ask me. read more

For those that don't know, this place has TWO different menus! One "texmex" style Chinese food menu, and the black colored menu that has real Chinese dishes on it. The Chinese style menu in black is Sichuan (Used to be called Szechuan) Mala style Chinese food. And it's very good and very authentic! The service here is pretty good, servers are attentive and kind! Drinks are refilled and you're checked in on regularly. The dishes on the Sichuan menu are very authentic and the portions are generous! The main thing you see in their dishes, is the portion of meat is large compared to "filler" veggies that a lot of places do these days (restaurants will cut corners by putting in bell peppers, large chunks of onions, carrots etc). These dishes are tons of meat. Not a lot of filler! And delicious! The Kung Pao Chicken and Eggplant and pork are both must try dishes. If you're more adventurous, try the boiled Spicy Beef in Spicy sauce (suizhuniurou/水煮牛肉). The same dish is also available in fish! Prices are reasonable and service is fast! First time ordering from this establishment. We ordered shrimp fried rice with added egg. The egg was not cooked into the rice just scrambled and placed on top. The rice itself had no flavor and shrimp was over cooked.the rice was just rice. Nothing special. Also ordered broccoli chicken and it had the flavor of oil and broccoli. Very bland. I had the Szechwan triple. I asked for it to be extra spicy. They did great with the spice. My head is sweating. My mouth is an inferno. The service is good. Very attentive. Clean restaurant. My only complaint is there were two drunk, loud, and extremely obnoxious men having lunch. I asked the owner / manager to ask them to be quieter and more contained. He said yes and did nothing. I had to get my 6'6" 250 lb self up and get in their faces and take care of it myself. The drunks paid and left immediately. read more
