The heat had been off and I don't use oil to heat water. I won't need a drop of oil until November. Called to speak with management and the person answering the phone would not pass me along. Sent them an email requesting a call back. It's been a week now and not a word from them. I have been a customer for 18 years and this is what you get. Cancelled my account this morning, same lady answered the phone and was pretty rude. Just a word to the wise, there are much better companies out there .

Although this project was revisited twice due to an initial "mis-diagnosis" (with the previous Soil-away regime), Jack took ownership to rectify the basic floor foundation issue and ensure no more tiles would crack.! Jack's demolition team,under Brad, communicated clearly when they would arrive, describe their daily work, and respected our property. The work area was left so that we could resume a normal daily lifstyle. Jack was there onsite thruout the demolition cycle of the project as was the project manager, Tom. As Brad and team completed the demolition cycle, Jeff, who would be completing the base flooring, tiling and grouting was the consummate professional. He approached the project as if he were working in his on house.His attention to detail and skill to merge the new tile into the existing fabric of our existing flooring was impeccable. In October when I tried using the heat, it would not come on. I tried finding a reset button but couldn't, that's when I noticed the "new" pump was covered in dust. I called them and they sent a tech, who showed me how to reset, it was the actual the flashing light you had to press and hold for 10 seconds to reset, my old pump had a clear button on the side. they charged me 350 more for the visit. The pump never worked properly. The entire winter it kept shutting off every few days, eventually getting worse until it was shutting off every day. I called them again, they claimed it was the controller that was malfunctioning but they never changed that, which was a lie, it was attached to the pump and totally different from my old one, which had the button on the side, I had to pay them 350 for a tech to show me how to reset this new controller. He claimed it was irrelevant since it should still be under warranty. 3 months later I got a bill for 850 for changing the controller. I called and explained and they said they would get back to me. They never did. Instead they paid my service bill with money I paid for oil delivery, then sent me a bill for the same amount for oil delivery. all oil deliveries were paid in full the day after delivery. It's a lie and scam to get me to pay for a junk pump. When I try and call they hang up on me.

I called Broco at 5:30 pm ( their office goes home at 5). At 5:30 I got a call back from Tom. The next morning I got set up and Ted came over and fixed everything. I also had contact with 3 others in the company that day. Broco is a local veteran owned company. They answer their phones and are ready to help. I am so pleased to be a customer of Broco, they are fantastic. After they placed the tanks and filled them my fill up was more than a dollar less per gallon than my old company. I'm writing this review after working with Skillings for nearly five years at my home in MA. I have…read morea point well with a jet pump, and because there are relatively few companies experienced with these systems, I trusted Skillings as the experts. Unfortunately, that trust ultimately cost me several thousand dollars. Over the years, I had repeated issues with my pump. What started as a rebuild eventually turned into two more rebuilds. Looking back, I could have replaced the pump multiple times for what I spent trying to repair it. The biggest issue came when Skillings installed a filtration system. Someone came out, evaluated my setup, and quoted approximately $1,000 for the work. The system they installed was not appropriate for my application. For nearly a year, I dealt with ongoing sediment and filtration problems. The system failed to properly remove sediment, contributed to another pump failure, and allowed sediment into my irrigation system, ultimately causing several thousand dollars in damage. I didn't write this review after one bad experience, and I didn't write it after two, either. I continued working with Skillings for years, gave them feedback, and gave them multiple opportunities to address the problems. It wasn't until I finally hired a competent irrigation specialist and pump specialist who properly evaluated my system and installed the correct equipment that I realized just how badly my system had been handled. I understand how damaging a review like this can be to a company, and I don't write it lightly. But after years of service calls, repeated pump failures, wasted time, and several thousand dollars in unnecessary costs and damage, I feel obligated to share my experience. I trusted Skillings because I believed they were the experts, and unfortunately, that trust turned into a very expensive lesson.
