I can't gush enough about these wonderful folks! My first issue involved a gas line to my water heater. After two other plumbers claimed they couldn't get to the line to fix it & recommended a new water heater ( hundreds to replace/repair), Victor came and fixed the line for a reasonable price. Second issue was a stopped up tub. Another plumber said the pipe must've collapsed because the auger wouldn't go through. $9000 to replace the pipe. L & P ( Victor again) , found a piece of plastic in the line & voila! The tub drains again . Eventually I'll need to replace this old pipe because of tree roots but I'll be calling L & P to do it. TLDR: I had to call the police to get their shakedown collector to leave my house. These guys use intimidation tactics to get invoices paid. When a family emergency set us back a week, they sent a large guy to the house who, despite the fact that one child was throwing up and I was on the phone scheduling their medical appointment and I was in my bathrobe, refused to leave until they had the invoice paid. I told them to leave and we'd get the invoice paid, and his response is that he would still be waiting at my house. It was intimidating as heck and a little scary and far more than I could handle with a spouse recovering from surgery and a throwing up kid. They also claimed the invoice had been three weeks late, although five days previous they were still troubleshooting their work and telling us not to worry about payment until it was resolved. So this guy - who would not allow me to answer the question about when the invoice would be paid (literally as soon as I could settle all the sick people in my house down long enough to get to a computer) talked over me and yelled and didn't allow me to answer him. I tried calling to explain later, and he did the same thing. People, I had to call the POLICE to get him to leave my porch. They then filed a police report against me for "theft of services". Over a one-week-old invoice. Which was overpriced. I'm so disappointed. The initial service technician was very sweet, although they talked me into something now I'm not sure I needed, given the collection tactics. read more

Very good experiences with this contractor. I have worked with them twice. Results were very good - they were very thorough and successfully resolved my plumbing issues on 2 different rental properties. They were able to get out to the properties quickly. Cost for the service was reasonable. They really got to the root cause of things and I have a lot of confidence (piece of mind) that things are fixed right and I will not have to worry about them again. Impressed by the integrity and professionalism of these folks. Had a home inspection completed to see if there were any repairs we should get ahead of. These folks were recommended to us and scheduling was quick and easy. Victor came out, arrived on time and got cracking on the issues that had been identified. Turns out the two expensive repairs that had been recommended just weren't needed and instead everything was sorted out in an hour with some relatively minor adjustments. Super impressed with L&P Plumbing. Professional, Honest and Reasonably Priced. I had knocking in my pipes and after receiving a diagnosis of low water pressure and very high bid for work from another company, I decided to get a second opinion. Brennan came out and discovered high water pressure and a bad PRV valve. For what seemed like a fair price, he made the replacement and adjusted my water pressure. My problem resolved. L&P are my new plumbers and I will be referring my friends to them for sure. read more

A couple of months ago I got a quote from Fabien at L&P plumbing for a big job. He was very helpful and informative. My husband and I decided to put the job on hold until the spring. This past week, as you may know, Austin was hit with a major winter storm. We had a burst pipe and no water. Fabien originally told me he could send someone in about 4 days which I understood due to other people having it worse then we did. I was pleasantly surprised to get a call the next morning that he had someone in my neighborhood to send over. Victor came and checked everything out. Fabian and his team at L&P were excellent to work with, and I'll highly recommend them to anyone. We needed a new hot water heater; my partner called and spoke with Fabian who gave a quote over the phone. Later that same day he came out to look at what work would need to be done, and confirmed that same quote. His price was half of what other companies had quoted us. Fabian and his team came out a couple of days later and completed the job in just a couple of hours. They were all very courteous and explained everything they were doing, and gave us advice on maintenance for the heater in the future. I needed my grooming tub hooked up to hot and cold water, and the drain. It was a pretty complicated job and the first set of plumbers failed right at the start thankfully, so I got to meet L&P plumbing. I asked my electrician and he suggested Victor. Man, am I relieved!! It's really too bad that someone's comments on driving would make L and P's Yelp rating be dragged to the middle because they really are good. We are having the kitchen remodeled and needed some plumbing work. I had 3 bids for a job, these guys were extremely reasonable, communicative, professional, enthusiastic to do the work, and they fit me in on my contractor's timeline. We found additional completely unrelated problems when my contractor ripped out the wall and they took care of it and stuck to their original quote. My tenants just moved out and I found the toilet on the second floor master bedroom leaked when I flushed it from the tank. It's a very large and noticeable leak. This was on June 2, 2020. I called this company on March 28 because my tenant said there was a leak. They came over and instead of going upstairs to check where the leak came from, they cut a large hole in the ceiling to see wear the leak was. It turns out they could not find a leak. My tenants told them it must have been from the cleaning lady when she mopped the floor. I was informed of this by my tenant. My tenant told me that they (my tenants) caulked around the tub. I was charged $325.00 for a no leak. I don't have a problem with that. What I do have a problem with is I looked in the toilet and the water looked like it was in there for close to two months. It looked to me like the toilet hadn't been used at all since the plumbers came. I called him this morning and explained to him what I had found. I informed him that the water was very rancid in the toilet and it looked to be in there for approximately two months. I told him I flushed the toilet and that's when all the water leaked out from the tank onto the floor. I asked him if they checked to see if the toilet leaked before they were digging around downstairs to find a leak. My tenants were thinking it was the bathtub at that time. I believe they focused on the bathtub. My tenants and I had somewhat of a strained relationship the last couple months of their occupancy so I'm not blaming the plumber totally. I believe my tenant gave me false information and also gave the plumbers false information. But I believe where they made a mistake is they did not flush the toilet to see if there was a leak. That's my problem. It wasn't from the mop bucket of the cleaning lady. They didn't check the toilet. He would not come out and fix it at no charge. I told him I would use them again if he would come out, but he declined. I have several rental properties and could've used a good plumber, but he's not the one I'll use again. read more

I have never used your company, but I can tell you your service technician coming into liberty hill yesterday 4/29/19 @ 11:45am driving a blue Chevrolet pick up truck with L&P signage on it(verified phone number), was driving like a bat out of hell, tailgating, swerving in and out of traffic and almost rear ended me!
