We had quite complicated problem with our standing faucet, which installed just a bit over a year ago. The faucet was installed pretty badly at the beginning by our 1st contractor, who we fired them. After that we had an experienced plumber reinstalled the faucet and it had been working great since then. Anyway, recently we had a construction in our house and for some reason the problem showed up at this standing faucet again. Our contractor had 2 licensed plumbers came over to fix the it, but for somehow they made it worse. The water pressure at the faucet was very low for the hot water and after the 2nd plumber from our contractor worked on it, it got worse. Both hot and cold water got very low pressure and the standing faucet was wobbling badly. I got to ask my contractor to stop sending his guys to fix the faucet, and then I called about 5 plumbing companies to check on it. As the faucet was initially installed badly on the tile that was cut too big as the photo, and now the tile was hardly hold the faucet, the 4 plumbers who came over had quite different solutions. One said that he needed to remove all the tile in that section in order to installed new valves and I would need to call the tile guy to redo the tiles later. Then, another Plumber honestly told me that he had no idea how to fix it, but he would ask the other plumbers in the company. Well... Pretty much hopeless, I google and found Crow's plumbing service with an incredible reviews 4.9 stars from 2,066 reviews!!! I called the company and Karen, the lady on the phone, was polite, friendly, courtesy and understanding. She scheduled the technician to come over for the next day. The technician, Caleb, showed up on time. Although Caleb was pretty young, he was INCREDIBLE and Knowledgeable. He thoroughly checked on everything and he was the only plumber who double checked on water pressure and found out that our house had a water pressure issue with a proven. 3 years ago, we had an inspection during the buying process by Square House, but we got only the reported that said he couldn't located the valve!, no mentioned about water pressure issue. At that time, I asked our buyer agent more than one time what it meant to unable to locate the valve, and our agent said it was just there and no problem about that at all. In fact, that wasn't true. We needed the main water valve and PRV replaced since they were way too old and buried deeper and deeper over time until they were no longer usable. This costed us over $1,300 to replace both PRV and Main Valve that should have been reported and replaced since 3 years ago!Kar As well, Caleb found the way to fix our standing faucet without removing the whole tile section. He told us he could simply put bigger screws and the plates underneath, so it could help holding the standing faucet!! No any plumbers came to that solution. I am not over claim, but Caleb from Crow's is intelligent. He spent time explained all my questions and concerned. Now, everything was fixed and Caleb said they would be good for at least 10 years. Additionally, Crow's provides 2 year-warranty for their work!! So they really stand behind their jobs. We placed a service request on Tuesday, December 23rd. Now, granted that was the day before the holiday, but the technician came out and diagnosed the tankless water heater, took almost $600 in payment, and told us that they ordered the part from the manufacturer for overnight delivery and would install the next day. Of course, the next day was December 24 and was a holiday. We confirmed that it would be installed the next day though- before we paid- and specifically the holiday. Not only did the part not get installed, but no one called us- nor returned our calls on December 24 or 25th or even 26th. We didn't expect any service on the 25th because it's clearly a holiday but obviously we got nothing. Then on the 26th, not a holiday. We got nothing. We called, left messages- zero reply. Saturday and Sunday the 27-28th- NOTHING. Oh but Monday the 29th they have the part (yay! Not) They install the part it changes nothing. Then they say they cannot fix it. As if the 2 year old tankless water heater is defective. They spent zero time on the line with the manufacturer troubleshooting. That's their JOB. Anytime you need to hire someone to provide a service in your home, you are at the mercy of the providing service company. When I needed someone to fix a water heater that was not heating the water, I must have drawn the short straw. I contacted Cox Plumbing because they had installed my current water heater, but I did not imagine the string of frustration that I would go through getting this project completed. I called on a Friday to schedule service for two days later, on a Monday. I asked for first out service and the person I spoke to, Karen, indicated that technicians showed up to work at 7:30 am, which gave me the impression a technician would show up at my house shortly thereafter. Well at 12:27 pm on Monday, I get a text from Karen asking if I still wanted a technician to show up at my house. I initially thought my response would be, "no thanks, my water heater fixed itself", but I stated that I still needed someone to fix my water heater since I had given them plenty of lead time. She sent me a text telling me that Nick was on his way. Well, two hours later Nick showed up looking like he just got up from a nap. This started another series of frustrating events as I knew very quickly that Nick's level of expertise was that of an apprentice. He started guessing what the problem was and was quick to provide a series of estimates to fix the problem. Ultimately, he indicated that he needed to call a Rheem service technician since he didn't really know how to deal with the problem. This made it clear to me that Cox Plumbing technicians are not trained to repair equipment they sell, in this case I'm talking about a water heater they had previously sold me. At some point he told me he had to order a part from the Rheem distributor, and he told me later that I should call them to expedite the order. OK, like he couldn't have done this when he ordered the part? So, after four days had passed, I received the part at my home, but since I received the part on a Friday, Nick could not come over to install the part because he would need to call Rheem again for directions on how to install the part. At this point Karen called to see if I had received the part that had been ordered and she actually asked me, "what do you want me to do now?" So, that now becomes the following Monday when Nick shows up to install the part he had ordered. Well, that led to another problem since Nick figured out that he actually needed another part from the Rheem distributor. So, after calling Rheem again to order another part, he was willing to allow another few days to receive the additional part that he needed, until I suggested that the go retrieve this part from a local distributor. The bottom line is that it took 10 days to fix my water heater due to the lack of urgency, and lack of knowledge from the staff at Crows Plumbing company. Every time he had a new guess on what the problem was, he was quick to provide me a new cost estimate, which escalated from an original $345.20 to a final cost $1298.20. Keep in mind that the whole time my water heater was basically disassembled and still not fixed, basically keeping me hostage to his escalating pricing throughout this whole ordeal. They never came out, and they never called to tell me they were not coming to my appointment. I made a Saturday 2:00 p.m. appointment because that was the last one they had of the day. I told them I had to leave work early to make that appointment. they called me at noon and told me they were running late. I said, "That's okay. at 5:00 p.m. I finally text them and got no response. I text again at 5:30 no response. I called their after hours and left a message and told them I had an appointment at 2:00 and it was now 5:30 and I haven't heard from anybody and nobody's returning my text message. They said they'd have somebody call me right away. An hour later and still no return call. I had to call again and tell him the same situation they told me somebody would call me back. Now 7:49 pm and still no return phone call. It would have been nice to know they were not going to be able to make it out. I lost 3 hours of pay, and it ruined our dinner plans for the evening. After receiving a quote for $2500 from ARS/Rescue Rooter to just remove existing 40 gallon hall water heater and replace it with the one I was going to provide from Home Depot - the project was put on hold to find the right company. . . . CROWS PLUMBING is the right company. They quoted a Rheem 50 gallon industrial water heater (a huge upgrade on quality and size) and installation for under $2K. I added a leak pan and leak water shut off solenoid to the order and the total was slightly over on price what ARS (a premium priced service - their words not mine) wanted for labor only. Had Crow's out again for another issue with my house's plumbing (these pipes aren't getting any younger). Like last time, they were able to get someone to take a look the same day I called which wasn't the case for a single other plumbing company I got in touch with. Tim came back out to look at a clogged shower and had it draining in no time at all. He was very patient with my questions about it and some other issues I'd been having, and recommended I follow up with another member of his team to do a sewer scope. Jonathan came out the next day and was an absolute well of knowledge (no pun intended). He got a camera in my pipes and explained in detail everything he noticed (he's got a sharp eye), as well as pointing out the corresponding points in my yard and potential fixes. Because there was a miscommunication about pricing for the camera service, Jonathan went above and beyond and comped the whole service. Wow. I'm sure this cast iron (and apparently tar and paper sewer line, lol) won't hold up too much longer. When more major repairs are needed, I know the folks I'll be calling. read more

SUMMARY: Their website advertises that they work on solar water heaters, but actually, they don't. DETAILS: I wrote and asked about availability for fixing my solar water heater, since the About page on their website says, "We know how to handle a diverse range of plumbing issues, whether we are dealing with water treatment, solar water heaters, or something else!" They wrote back and said that they don't work on solar heaters. I said okay, but your website says you do. They acknowledged that, but said that they really don't work on solar heaters. BEWARE! Thought everything was fine after a brand new $8000 install, few months later, not so much. Turns out it's common practice to re-use condensate drain lines from previous installers from the air handler in the attic....that's fine with me but these guys busted loose a coupling re-installing the line and it flooded a spot in my attic damaging who know how much Sheetrock causing water to leak through a light in my main house. They claim the fitting the broke loose was not made by them and was past their connection point....true but they still re-used the line the connection was on and how rough were they up there dragging it around? didn't inspect the job properly after and caused damage to my recently renovated home. Gave them a chance to meet me halfway and helping with the damages. They came out and told my wife (I wasn't home) it's not their fault but of course nothing is anyone's fault anymore for sub-par work. Also told her to let the completely soaked Sheetrock just dry in the attic, no need to replace, it won't get moldy. So not only are they bad at HVAC, also bad at water damage restoration advice. First Karen ass review I've ever left on anything. But you cost me thousands in damages and just shrug your shoulders, well here it is. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Roll the dice elsewhere and hope there are still stand-up people out there that will make right by your hard earned money. Peace read more

I will give them two stars for their response time. They sent a technician who was basically a salesman trying to find out what other services they could sell me, checked out our water heater and other plumbing fixtures without us asking to have them evaluated. Their prices are grossly overpriced. For example, to replace two valves for the laundry room for washing machine , Crow's quoted me 467. including parts. I had someone else do it and they charge me $179 including parts. To replace the whole washer box Crows Plumbing quoted me 1000. The other plumber I used quoted me 459. Judge for yourself. Just had the plumber, Jonathan, from Crow's Plumbing Service leave the house. My wife and I were nervous about the bill, but Jonathan came in, looked at the kitchen facet, took a piece off and said; "Done!" He then proceeded to tell me what to do if any of the other sinks have the same issue. So what we thought was going to be a hassle was easy to deal with! We certainly will be using these people from here on out! Just to be thorough, if your home isn't flooding, you won't be their first person of the day, and that's fine. They do, however, give you constant updates. I got in touch with someone over the phone on Monday, they said they would be here on Wednesday. All through the day I was given updates and an opportunity to have the fee waived if I would reschedule another day, which I did. Now today, they showed up here around 9:30 am, and gone by 9:35 am (it really was something simple, thankfully). So they do respect your time, too. Awesome company. Fast and efficient service by Eddie. The pilot light in my water heater would not stay lit. I called Crow's at about 9am on a Monday and Eddie arrived at about 11am. Can't beat a 2 hour response time. Eddie was very personable and quickly evaluated the problem and knew exactly how to repair it. He had the replacement part in his truck and installed it very fast. Most plumbers I hired from Craigslist and Thumbtack always tried to dig and look for more and more problems. Local plumbing service was honest and upfront about prices from the beginning. They showed no inclination to increase the scope of work or look for problems. They're trustworthy so you can send them directly to your property even if you are not present. They deal well with tenants and avoid sharing too many details; keep it professional. The wax seal on my toilet was leaking so I used Yelp to get quotes for the repairs. Within minutes four plumbers responded and Local Plumbing Service LLC was the first. I called and talked to Vivian and asked how soon someone could do the repair and the answer was within two hours! The price was fair so I told her to make it happen. Within an hour the owner and a David the plumber was at my front door. The removed the toilet, upgraded the seal and replaced the water hose. Everyone at CROWS plumbing is exceptional. I had a HUGE JOB done in my condominium which required Jonathan Guy and his team to replace 100s of feet of plumbing. We had old old cast iron piping (from the 1960S) that was leaking and replaced them with a modern plastic. Jonathan coordinated everything and did everything on the job with precision and thoroughness. He even had to remove some drywall throughout the condo to access the pipes, and then had a contractor who fix the walls after he was done. Thomas with Crows local plumbing performed the installation of our new faucet, sink, garbage disposal, and water osmosis filtration system, and was fantastic. He, including their dispatcher Taylor made scheduling an appointment very quick and easy. During his initial appraisal of the job, Thomas was very good at explaining what needed to be done clearly, with confidence when setting expectations. He was friendly, and had a positive attitude. Upon the actual installation, he made sure to show us any observations he had made, and kept us in the loop on any changes that needed happen. The new disposal he installed was apparently a lemon (Amazon's fault, not Crow's Plumbing's), and Thomas made sure we understood the problem, and provided guidance on getting it returned and replaced.
