Scott was informed Aug 2nd that we have a problem and require that he send someone to fix it. Scott came by and assessed the damage and ordered the necessary material, which turned out to be not enough for the job on hand. To make a long story short the circus dragged on until Oct 06, no communication from P&Q to give us any updates, missed appointments without apologies, etc. We were very disappointed and would not recommend them.

They came out and gave us a competitive bid and where on time for the estimates . Unfortunately, once the crew got started it just got off on the wrong foot. I came home early to find them cutting the floor without any fans running nor any finished areas protected from dust . This includes fixtures in the room , which then the installer turns on the fan which they covered in dust and promptly threw dust all over the ceiling (which was never cleaned ). Then installer showed us stain color and swore it was the same as our previous ...but turned out to be not even close ....the crew did a great job though installing floor quickly and resetting all appliances ...then we had a few other hiccups and the end result is now a cupping if all the new hardwoods they installed . Needless to say the execution of demo, install , and finishing was quick and looked good besides the poor matching of stain . So , we now have to figure out how to proceed with 3 kids in the middle of a school year ., one with severe asthma, one on two travel sports teams, and 2 working parents . Geesh this is gonna suck ...again Promised Stu I would update this review after they were more than accommodating with an equitable settlement . They completely owned up and were honestly a pleasure to deal with even through all the issues which could not be diagnosed.

They masterfully "weaved" the new flooring in place and once sanded and refinished the new sections were indistinguishable from the original. Cesar was incredibly professional from start to finish, gave a very detailed estimate of the work we needed done. We just bought a house and needed the carpet replaced for two sets of stairs and the second floor, along with ripping up carpet in the basement to replace with LVP. Cesar brought plenty of carpet and LVP floor samples for us to choose from, took his time to explain how they would be able to remove the majority of the squeaking on our floors across the 2nd floor, and went above and beyond to explain the process and give us tips on taking care of the longevity of the floors. It's really easy to run into slimy sales people and contractors in this industry which is why it was such a huge relief to work with people as good as Cesar and his team. We're calling them back soon to refinish our hardwood floors, super excited about that. :)

I recently purchased an industrial loft here in Atlanta that hadn't been treated particularly well over the last 20 years. The owners, rather than do anything with the floors, simply painted over them a multitude of times with various layers and colors of cheap acrylic wall paint. When I closed on the place, there were large patches of the paint on the floor that were peeling up (see pic) and leaving paint flakes all over one's feet, shoes...everything. My place used to be an old linen factory and I knew the concrete beneath the paint probably had some great character. I called Pam from Flawless and she was able to stop by, see my place and send me a quote the same day that I called. The quote by flawless was lower than the quotes I got from competitors and initial conversations with Pam showed me that she actually knew more about the process than the other folks that had stopped by to talk to me about how they would go about getting rid of the paint (side note: If your concrete floor has paint on it, pay Flawless to polish it off. Do NOT use one of the other companies that will pour toxic chemicals all over it to burn it off.). Because I wasn't moved into my place at the time and travel so much for work, finding a few consecutive days to do it was impossible for me, but Flawless accommodated my schedule perfectly, popping over for one day here and another day once I came back from that trip, fitting into MY schedule so that it could get done. The team was incredibly friendly and I genuinely enjoyed having them over and chatting with them in between passes with the machines. Pam, Melvin and the entire Flawless team went above and beyond to not only bring out the AWESOME character of my floors, but made sure to check in on my thoughts along the way and go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure I was nothing but overjoyed with the outcome, which I absolutely am. I have grand dreams for turning this loft out and making it a showstopper, and a big component of that was the floors, which Flawless executed to a degree I couldn't have possibly even expected. We had Mr Carpet install carpets in two rooms, and could not be happier with the finished job…read more The team was very miticulous in cleaning the bare floor after the old carpet was removed, and were so careful in cutting and joining the carpet sections that we cannot tell where the different pieces come together. New tack strips were added, and the carpet stretched so perfectly that no shoe moulding will be needed to hide gaps.
