The movers each had over 25 years experience with this company. They knew their stuff, & packed me up accordingly. They were personable, polite & efficient. So after sleeping on the floor for 4 days due to military mover delays, the military movers wouldn't assemble the king bed put into storage by Ferguson the previous year. So, I called Ferguson and the following day they assembled my bed and other items left unassembled by military movers. for a very small fee.

They took apart my bed and offered to reassemble! My mattress did get a bit damaged on the bottom and a screen door flexi-glass broke. However, they reduced the original quote to pay for those damages and I was very much grateful. During the move it started to rain and they were able to move quickly to get my soft furniture out of truck so it wasn't ruined. In addition, I did pitch in to help and their initial was response was that I definitely didn't need to do that but I felt bad just standing around. Lastly, I had some items I needed to pitch that required a larger dumpster and they took it for me at no additional charge! It should be noted that there was PLENTY of room to turn around in the cul-de-sac and park in a manner that did not restrict our use of our own driveway. The driver then got out of the truck, threw his cigarette onto our driveway, and cut across our yard. When I asked the crew how long they would be there they replied an hour and a half. I let them know we needed to leave in 20 minutes. Needless to say, they did not move the van. The driver of this van was lazy and rude. If this is how they conduct business, I would not want to be one of their customers.

And we did have a bit of a hiccup because we had to offload at two different stops. The last stop had a very teeny elevator, and a ridiculously dumb access point, but that was the apartment buildings rules, though... We had to comply. It was kind of a nightmare. These guys were so good, that I hired them three days later to move new furniture from a different condo into this one. Once again, they were punctual and fun to work with and most importantly... In both of these moves, nothing was damaged! Nothing. And they were expert at disassembling and assembling a very large bed frame. They showed up on time, didn't need a lot of direction, and were super safe, careful, well-stocked with supplies, and efficient. Almost as important, they were kind and professional with my building manager and other residents. And Anthony has some impressive driving skills! He backed a 26' truck down into a tight driveway and into the INSIDE corner of a curved slope. I've never even seen anyone do that with a smaller truck.
