I went to Nail Palace for the first time under its new ownership. I had a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly and did a wonderful job on my nails. I also had a pedicure, which was very good. The prices in nail salons have not been exempt from the challenges of rising costs/inflation. That is just the reality living in these uncertain times. Overall, I would definitely return to Nail Palace in Port Chester! PS- it should be noted that the new owners have been there for about six months. So, the negative reviews that precede this one are commentary on the previous management. read more

Can't say enough about Sandra, who's been doing my nails for years!! Can't remember how many, at least a dozen. And the two, not-so-new, now, owner sisters are so very helpful. They keep the place spotless! They also step in when Sandra is not available. Huge nail color selection and the pedi includes a massage of one's calves...great, as I often get leg cramps at night. Extremely disappointed that Sandra will only be there Thurs, Fri., and Sat. Did I mention that the gals have remodeled the place! read more

This is the worst place to go if you want a full set of tips. Bad service, they give you attitude and doesn't give you want you ask for. I asked for a coffin shape and she started doing my nails round. I ask to make it a little thicker and it is paper thin. One of the nails fell of the same day and 2 more fell off 3 days later. Then you have to pay Tip, cause according to them it's mandatory even if they did a good job or not. My nails were uneven. I don't recommend going here for nothing. yes there are cheap and that why they give you that service because they cheap. read more

I received gel mani pedi here the past weekend while visiting my cousin and baby niece in town. I wasn't confident with my choice prior to visiting the salon based on the yelp reviews. But decided to trust the recent review after noticing others were years old. SO GLAD I CAME HERE: first, I learned that the management changed. And second for their cleanliness, everything was sanitized and organized. But really, for their amazing job with my nails. I have never received such PERFECT french nails in my life, especially with the colors being dark navy on clear base. Usually they come out lopsided. The nail artist was really patient and helped me choose the exact shade I wanted. I highly recommend if you are looking for a clean and skilled salon. read more

Meh. I've gotten my nails done here in a pinch (very close location to my house) and I wasn't very impressed. Old furniture, dingy appearance...not very friendly technicians. I tried their $25 mon-wed mani/pedi and it wasn't anything special... the tech kinda rushed through my mani/pedi and sent me on my way. For $25 it was fine, but I'll spring for spending the extra dough and go elsewhere. read more

I just moved to the area and I'm on a hunt for a new nail salon. This was by far the worst gel manicure I have ever gotten. I've been getting gel nails for years and know the process well. I had to ask the lady several times what she was doing and why. She just kept saying "it's ok, it's ok". One of my nails had broken off and had to be replaced. The lady picked the nail which was clearly to big for my nail bed. I asked her please use a different one, again she said "it's ok I will file it down". The manicurist just kept putting nail glue all over my nails and placing powder over that I repeated again "I want gel please, gel only" again she said "it's ok, it's ok". At this point I gave up and realized I'm not getting gel rather acrylic which wouldn't of been so bad it's really the shape I was more concerned about. She used some sort of clear thick nail polish which she put on a very thick layer of covering the skin around my nails. Towards the end of the manicure I knew I was going to have to get them redone so I just asked her to stop. She then started speaking to the lady that must have been the owner or manager. She then came over and offered I come back tomorrow to get them redone. I let her know I have already been here for over 2 hours and I'm 100% unsatisfied with the the result so I most definitely will not be coming back. I asked if I could please just pay so I could leave. The over owner/ manager kept pushing I come back. At this point I was so frustrated as I felt like not one of them had been listening to what I was saying. I asked to please just let me pay so I can leave. I basically paid $80 for the worst service worst manicure and worst experience ever. Do not go here! Didn't want to give them any stars but yelp insisted on it. read more

I went there to get my nails done while visiting my grandma who has been going here for 5 years now. This place is really nice... friendly, clean, relaxing experience. I like that they are especially conscientious about noise- quiet environment with music in background.  Complimentary Massage is terrific. They use plastic liners for pedicure tubs- very hygienic! I appreciate that they don't clutter the space with all kinds of advertisements.  Happy to have stumbled across this place.  I definitely recommend to anyone trying to get their nails done at a very reasonable price! Loved the turnout and got compliments from everyone will be back soon! read more
