I went for a manicure after work as is close to my job as well , I was really happy with the reviews I seen on yelp about them that I decided to give them a try And so this is another reason why I hate trying new spots ! When I got my pedicure everything seem to be okay until I left the nail shop one of my fingernails were looking kind of weird so I waited until I got home and realized they forgot to add the final gel coat on top so they looked really awkward , I went back and they only put gel on top after the whole process was not done correctly . I do appreciate them fixing them but not the way it should've been done . read more

Well, there isn't much to add that Jamie P didn't already cover but I second her opinion that this place is great!!! Due to some scheduling issues I did not have my regular mani scheduled at the usually place so I have been on a mission for the past month to find a place that I can walk into and get a good mani. I found LB nails by mistake last Friday and only happened to notice the shop when I was leaving the near by car wash (Corwood). This shopping center is on a main street but you don't really notice it when you drive by, at least I never did. LB nails is in the back of the shopping center and I wasn't sure what to expect when I walked in. I was pleasantly greeted by Lisa who thankfully had time for a mani. This place is really warm and welcoming and Lisa and Lee (her husband) do a great job of making you feel comfortable. As for my mani, it was great; four days later and it still hasn't chipped! I know four days is not a long time but for my mani not to chip it is. Lisa gave me an awesome arm and hand massage that nearly made me fall asleep in her chair. This was definitely worth the $13.00 my mani cost. I will for sure be coming back to see them for more awesome mani's and I'll have to get a pedi next time too. read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place and would hate to have to go anywhere else. I have been getting my nails done by Lee and Lisa for over 16 years now and they even do my 4 year olds nails when I bring her in with me. They are always friendly and accomodating. They even have a wall with pictures of all the kids that come by (from the parents). I even invited them to my wedding 9 years ago! If I ever have a problem with my nails (break, chip, smudge, etc) I can drop by to have it fixed. Definitely give them a try! read more

Cute, little hole in the wall nail salon. While there's nothing overly impressive about the location and interior (to be honest the Yelp photos made the place look a lot better than what I saw in person) L B makes up for it with their customer service and actual services. Overall a pretty decent place for a pedicure just with some minor things I thought a bit off. First the "bad" - I came in on a Friday afternoon and it was like a ghost town. There was one other customer finishing up her pedicure and two sweet gals there to take care of me. I was told to pick my color from a wall that was a bit sad. I was not familiar with the brands they use (it was a hodgepodge of some generic brand mixed with one a small few OPIs). Also the colors weren't organized in any particular way and they didn't have the breadth of colors I'm accustomed to at my normal nail salon. I was looking for a mint color and found the only bottle that looked the closest to it. They sat me in the chair and gave me a bottle water then asked which type of pedi I wanted. Having no clue they of course offered up their most "expensive" option first...the deluxe pedicure. I did find it a bit odd when I asked what was included and they asked the customer next to me to tell me. I think she was even caught off guard having to sell their service to me while she was in the middle of relaxing. In the end I went with the deluxe anyway which turned out to be a good decision. Now on to the "good stuff". The gal doing my pedi walked out with a cutely displayed tray of scrubs, lotions, mud mask, lemon and other things. I was impressed by the presentation as it looked just as good as something I'd see at a higher end nail salon. The deluxe included a great smelling sugar scrub with the lemon rub for extra exfoliant. A mud mask was also applied followed by a paraffin wax wrap for my feet. Last was the amazing massage with oil and lotion. She really got in there and took out the kinks in my sore legs and feet. My feet and legs left feeling smooth, relaxed and hydrated...all for $35! The actual nail polish application also was great. The gal did it quite nicely and was detailed (as in she coated the tops of my toe nails which helps to make the pedi last longer). When it was all done they let me sit and relax for as long as I wanted and I in no way felt rushed even though they two other customers came in. I also appreciated how clean the massage seat and basin were especially since they use the plastic liners to keep things sanitary. When I was ready to pay the gal sweetly surprised me with a first time customer discount of 15%. Even without the discount I found the price pretty good for a really good pedicure. If you're looking to support a local business and trying to decide between the variety of nail salons in the area go with LB. it may not be the fanciest but when it comes to the services you won't be disappointed. read more

This was the first time EVER where I called to make an appointment at a nail place and when I got there promptly I was serviced right away. It was a great sign and was followed by great service. I was there for a shellac mani and a deluxe pedi. They take their time here and are meticulous. It was a very relaxing environment--the nail techs spoke softly and were conscientious. They also offered me a drink right when I sat down in the chair. As I was leaving the owner told me that if my nails need to be fixed at anytime I can come back. I witnessed another patron do this while I was there and they were totally accommodating. I will make the 15 min. drive again to come back. read more

I really like this nail shop! I been twice and had two different experiences yet very satisfied. I appreciated how when I brought to their attention that I didn't like how one of the nail techs painted my nails they fixed it for me (even though they talk about you in their native tongue) but that's fine as long as I get a neat and non-rushed manicure/pedicure. read more

Quiet little salon. Only the owner nancy was working the 2 times I went. She was very friendly and did a nice job, but I wouldn't say it was anything special. But overall I was happy. The only thing I didn't like was the overt sales pressure. She did her absolute best to sell me on other services that I neither want nor need. Gave me a sob story about being a single mom and struggling to make ends meet- hey look, I'm not hating. I get that it must be hard, but I came in for a mani/pedi, you know? This was one of the best experiences I've ever had! I was greeted warmly when I entered and was promptly greeted by Bella, the daughter of the owners. She made my experience even better. She asked me how my water was for my pedicure and then asked me how I heard about them. She is just the sweetest! She then picked a color for me and she made sure my experience was great. This is probably one of the best pedicures I've ever gotten. Given it wasn't busy at all that day, my person was able to spend about 40 minutes on me. She spent extra time massaging my legs. Came here for a pedicure, called ahead to make sure they were available and they were. However, my gel pedicure was rushed. I think it was like 15-20 mins and it wasn't relaxing at all bc the lady who was doing it seemed like she had other things to do. Didn't give me a massage. Just slathered me in lotion and that was their "massage." The lady was nice though but why tell me they had time if they obviously didn't. Also, they had only a limited selection of gel polish. Couldn't even find a color I liked Bc it was such a small selection so I opted out for a random color. Overall, wasn't impressed. Very disappointed especially since they have other great reviews. read more

Never will I ever come back here. Looking at my nails makes me want to cry. I had a 9:30 appointment this morning for a pedicure and a fill in. I went to this salon for the first time 2 weeks ago for a fill and was pretty happy with the quality of work. Unfortunately the lady who did my nails last time had another customer this morning. The woman who ended up doing my nails took 1.5 hours. I had to point out to her the places where my nails lifted so she could thoroughly clean them. Once she finished with the polish she kept on telling me how beautiful my nails looked. What she seemed not to have noticed is me ending up with nails that are ALL different shapes, length, and gel polish that has bubbles on all 10 fingers. Seeing how upset I was, she didn't even say I'm sorry and was perfectly fine letting me go out of the salon with the "finished" product. It is extremely disappointing to see that she didn't care about my level of satisfaction nor did she take any pride in her work. The other members did see that I was upset and tried to fix the polish but the damage was done. Needless to say I'm never coming back. read more

No stars, I came in first time customer, I did not have an appointment, she asked me to come back in 30 min. Sure no problem, NOW I have an appointment. I came back in 25 min, someone else walked in at the same time as I. She gets seated right away and I wait another 20 min. I walked out, they have no concept of time, or maybe acknowledge the fact that it will be a bit longer. Nope didn't get that either. I am new to the area and my daughter and I are looking for a new nail salon, she tried them a few weeks ago, and the girl who did her nails cut her. She said it was the same girl who others have complained about on Yelp, I think Lee was her name. Sorry bad customer service, we will keep looking. read more

It was very clean, they used a fresh liner to soak my feet, there was a barrier between me and the worker and she used tools from a fresh new packet. The environment is relaxing and friendly.
