There is a younger white woman who was wonderful and helpful but the one bad egg ruins it for me. We went in the other day because we are rescuing two puppies and taking them back mainland. We talked to the younger girl and she was so helpful, kind and shared a lot of knowledge with us. She was a five star employee and if she had been our only contact this review would be different. We grabbed one small crate because we weren't sure what size we needed and proceeded to the checkout. The old lady was there staring at us. Doing nothing. My husband said "I don't fit in the line because the crate is too big". There was also no one else in line at all. She still made my husband walk all the way over to where the line starts and then walk back over to her checkout station, basically walking in a circle just for her own satisfaction. Total power play. We let it go. We have been calling daily for almost a week now trying to secure the second crate we need so we can take the puppies with us. Every time we call this old woman answers and is so rude. She doesn't even check to see if the crate is available she just says call back later or check back every Thursday (which we've BEEN doing). Imagine my surprise when I went online right after calling her and the crate IS available. I've purchased it and pray they will actually pull it off the shelf for me, but I have no faith at this point. What a strange place to treat customers like this. She truly behaves as though she doesn't care about her job or the customers at all. Surprising from someone in the older generation. Do better.

Since these products do not have any additional preservatives or ingredients that you can barely pronounce, you can bet that these are super healthy for your fur kids. My fur kid always enjoys their products; from their beef organs and beef lung treats to their raw food, from their beef/venison bone broth to their lickable tallow balm for his paw pads. He loves it all! They also have been making new innovative products to assist in providing the healthiest and nutritional food to your fur kid. One of their newest product, furrykake is made to be as a topper for your fur kid's meal. I can't stress enough how my fur kid loves eating it and how beneficial it is for his health, especially that he is now entering in his senior years. This is after jumping through hoops on gathering support on how I was defrauded. So yes, you can get a refund from your credit card if you escalate the issue and provide evidence of a breach in contract. Taking this route is time and emotionally consuming so most people just take the loss from these thieves. Note: I was in contact with BBB, Chamber of commerce, and neither were helpful. I'm sharing this with my fellow yelpers so that you don't waste your time. The only option is seeking a refund from your credit card. If that fails, your only option is small claims court which will cost you more time & money. Akona knows this, which is why there are a dozen reviews after mine with exactly the same experience!

Didn't hear a word, figured we were good. 24 hours later, I get an email - subject in all caps - asking me where stuff was. One doc wasn't on the requirements list, the other (pics) Id sent in a separate email that she didn't take the time to find before being unnecessarily rude! Then she refused to respond to emails from myself or the wife. She told the husband he would be the only one she'd respond to. Never mind WE had the dog. In Indiana. If I lived in Hawaii, I would start a competing business to put this woman out of business. No one should be treated like this - it's a super stressful situation to start with and Ruth only makes it worse. She got fired. And the dog arrived, safely, to Honolulu yesterday.
