We went there for Lunch; we didn't have any expectations on mind as we were passing by chance feeling hungry , yet the look of that place from the outside was very luxurious & rich, we were tempted to see what this place is all about. Yet assuming from that place name we thought it offered french food but once when we were seated we discovered that they serve mediterranean cuisine As to our orders we had 2 different salads, named Taboula & Fatosh; the vegetables were fresh yet they lacked sour & sweet seasoning that the meddteriam cousine salads are known of. 4/10 We also had egg plants mixed with yogurt as one of the starters, it was way better than the salads. 7/10 as for the main dish we shared grilled chicken with rice based upon the waiter suggestion that its the no.1 selling dish they have. Luckily it was the BEST part of the meal & we weren't disappointed For the drinks they didn't have an epic menu of different cocktails , so i had my usual lemon with mint, it was very refreshing & it came in a big glass which was satisfactory. Lastly, if you are a fan of the mediterranean cuisine then surely you wont be disappointed, your eyes & stomach will leave that place satisfied from the outstanding interior & the good food they have! Cheers,

Wonderful flora teas. It is so interesting and engaging to watch the little flower bud bloom in your tea. Especially through a wine glass. The menu for the tea was so descriptive in showing the benefits off each. Also, the chocolate almond cake was so rich and dark. The red velvet had an interesting description. The red was made with real beet root but didn't taste any different from Americas. At least the cake part didn't. The cream in the cake was very good. Not too sweet but not flavorless. The staff was so attentive and friendly and the atmosphere made me feel so warm inside. The only thing I would complain about is the wifi. Even though I was warned it may not work I tried it anyway. As she said it did not work. Overall an enjoyable tea time.

My mother and I popped in for a quick snack after coming out of the V&A, we had a large plate of mixed salads which was absolutely delicious and so very fresh and then we had floral tea which was absolutely gorgeous! Lovely workers, and a beautify place, a lot of work has gone into making this place look as pretty as it does!

    A good relaxing place

So upon entering the store, I was immediately expecting the classic 'deli snobbery' experience. You know when you go to an authentic Deli where the staff give you the cold stare if you take too lon to order or don't know exactly what you want. Much to my surprise, I was welcomed in a very warm manner. I asked for a selection of meats, and seriously thought this would be the point where they'd start snapping, but nope, again the lovely lady offered a range of sample slices for me to try! Woohoo! To cut a long story short, I came out a happy girl! Lina Stores can keep there over-priced food, along with their moody staff, I'm sticking with my new bestie Camisa & Sons...! P.S. Could have sworn I spotted the 'Son' of Camisa & Sons working in the back room...

I was inspired by my visit to Little Italy in New York. Lots of amazing delis with fresh food…read moreserved by authentic Italian families who had been running the place for generations In London, there isn't any equivalent Italian area but Camisa on Old Compton is a deli straight out of New York. I love the '& Son' on the sign - gives the place a sense of continuity and history The sight of all those hams hanging up as you enter the store is enough to set the cookery brain and the stomach going. There is then the main counter with Italian cheeses galore and some deli items and home made pasta. There is also the full range of tinned and dried goods. The dry pasta from here is better than the fresh stuff from supermarkets. In Italy, they believe the pasta is the star of the dish and the sauce is just there to coat it, not drown it but for that philosophy to work, you need high quality ingredients I left with some pancetta, ham and mini mozzarellas

It was lunchtime and busy so I grabbed the only table available which was outside. I didn't mind because it wasn't cold out but the man behind the counter was so sweet and came out to tell me when a table inside became free. He knew everything about all the produce inside, and I went for ricotta and spinach cannelloni. It came with a choice of delicious fresh salads and I got rocket, tomato and pesto. My meal came to £5.60 which was such a bargain considering it was the best food I'd had in weeks. Go here if you can, it is only a two minute walk from Sloane Square tube stop everything about it is perfect.

A salad plate with cold meats and a moussaka with bread and a couple of drinks came in at just under £20. It's away from Sloane Square, and you're unlikely to happen across it unless aimlessly wandering the streets of Belgravia and Chelsea, but it is worth the quick detour if in the area! The guys behind the counter are very knowledgeable and you'll likely come away with a bag full of goodies when you leave. MMM..... biscotti.
