New management has taken over and the salon is not the same at all. Only a few nail techs actually know what they're doing so it's really a gamble. I've been getting my nails done here for years but this last time i was done. I asked for nex-gen and showed them the inspo picture below. My nails came out nothing like the picture and it still cost me a decent amount. I went back and got my nails redone and it still didn't turn out like the picture. They started peeling off in less than a week, which has never happened to me before. Super disappointed bc this was my go to spot. Super high prices and for poor quality. If you want a good pedicure this is the place, but if you're going for your nails, I would shop around.....I went in just for a fill and ended up with an entire new set of nails of my hands... I prefer for nail techs to just say they dont know how to do something instead of just doing what they want and charging you for it which is what happened to me.... the interior design is beautiful and clean..... they keep the alcohol flowing along with non alcoholic beverages as well, but I will not be back for nails, they push dipping powder so if you're an old school acrylic girl like me, then shop around..... read more

Top notch...these are my gel nails FOUR WEEKS later. Didn't start to chip until 2 days ago, and still only on 2 of the 10 nails. Amazing. Going back today to get a revamp! Kim is excellent with nails and pedi as well! They have really excellent nail techs. If you like to get away and just have a relaxing experience a relaxing experience. This your place. They offer a variate of mani/pedis to chose fromand you won't get bored with the options!! all you have to do is sit back and relax! i'd love to see this salon really grow! next to Chick-fil-A - it can be a little challenging at times getting in-and out! but it's worth your time!! I have lived in Rockwall for over 20 years and decided that i would try this place out. 6/2/2020 I (A African American Guy) walked in and instantly saw everyone that worked there look at each other and they started staring at me. As i walked up to the counter the guy walked away and left me there waiting. He did not walk away to help someone he went to another employee and started speaking in their language and had another employee to walk over and help me. That guy was very short and snappy and wanted to hurry up and be done with me. The nail tech was nice however the entire time i was getting stares from the other employees. The nail tech finished my nails and told me that she was going to talk to the guy so that i could get a discount (i never asked for one) the guy was visibly upset and was waving his hands in a "no no no" manner. I walked up to the register where he was and he said "she is going credit you 8 dollars, here's your receipt for a tip do what ever you want it." He didn't say thank you or come back or have a nice day. "Do what ever you want with it" was his last word to a paying customer. I felt like i was not welcomed, i did not complain about the price. the nail tech offered the discount without me even wanting a discount. Which was a nice jester but i understand that small businesses are hurting for money so i wouldn't have dared asked them to discount anything. It's sucks that in the year of 2020 African Americans that are from Rockwall and that has been here longer than they have can looked at and treated like we dont belong. I feel like things were added in that should not have been! All I asked for was a new set of nails (mine were grown off they did not have to remove anything) and the cheapest pedicure. I usually spend somewhere between 70.00 to 80.00 including tip in Rockwall for fill/new set and a pedicure. I picked the 30.00 dollar pedicure yet you pay an additional 5 bucks for them to remove the dead skin on your feet (that has always been part of my pedicure) so 35.00 for their cheapest pedicure, 15 bucks more for gel on my toes which in my world adds up to 50.00 bucks, however, to them it added up to 61.00 dollars? Still trying to figure out the math????? my feet were never scraped. Then he ask me if I wanted a manicure with my new set of nails of which I asked why would I need a manicure and he said so we cut your cuticles???? Wait......what that cost 15 bucks more and all this entailed was my cuticles being somewhat trimmed my arms being wrapped in a hot towel and being rubbed very hard! Never have I paid to get my cuticles cut it has always been part of the new set or full price???? They charged 5 bucks more for the tips on my new set of which has always been a part of the new set still not sure about this!!! Still trying to figure out why it was so expensive! Too expensive for me but the place was beautiful, clean and the people were very nice even though, I still feel like I was taken advantage of on pricing. They charged me 137.00 bucks! Will never return because of pricing! Claimed that because of COVID they had to raise their prices! Smhhh your not that good! Because of Covid people have lost their jobs yet you want to charge more to make up for lost wages. You should be happy/grateful people are coming in to get service not ripping them off! my nail guy was very kind but did a absolutely awful job on my nails. He cut them way too short when I told him I only wanted them filed, and he didn't even paint the top part of my nails (photo below). Also, the lady doing my pedicure seemed like she was high, laughing to herself when no one was talking to her, and completely zoned out (she even let mfoot bath over flow with water. She also burned my legs with the hot rocks so bad to the point where I was pulling my legs away saying ouch and she just ignored me and kept pulling my legs back to her. I showed up the week they opened back up after the Covid19 shutdown and getting in was impossible . So I made and appointment for the following Saturday. I must say it is a beautiful place . I wanted Pink and White Solar with French manicure . Same French manicure on my toes . The prices are steep . I got out of there with my tiny new set that are thin due to barely putting on the powder and then filing it off so much I'm afraid they will chip or fly off -and I mentioned don't you use Bond-aid to stop lifting ???? He didn't answer and had to scrounge for the proper supplies. . I'm used to the pink and white meaning white powder on the white tips and pink above . I was charged for the pink & white . I had to correct him about the acrylic white tips . I mean White not clear . Oh well . Then I get another guy for my classic pedicure . I barely got my heals scrubbed at all . I didn't get to soak my feet with the jets because of the plastic they put inside to tub . Barely enjoyed the massage chair either . I felt sort of Robbed of the intended experience. My total cost was 79.00 . I guess I would do better with just a polish change on my toes . They have a huge Bar with every bottle of booze you could possibly want . But I don't drink and asked for a Dr Pepper and I got an off brand coke Mr K or something like that . Sooooooooooo they didn't impress me very much . That was my first time and I think I will move on and find a smaller more personal Nail Salon that knows how to speak and understand good English . You get what you get at this place unless you specify everything you want and they actually understand . My old place knew exactly what I wanted and I enjoyed it and never felt rushed . I will say the place was beautiful, but I was very unhappy leaving. As soon as I got there I showed them a picture of what i want (red French tips) they said they could do it, as she was doing my nails I could tell she didn't know how to do it so I went with a simple color and 1 jewel on each hand. Even that was too hard because not even a full week later and 4/10 of my nails have fallen off. I also got a pedicure along with my boyfriend, it was us and 2 other people in the salon, in the middle of working on my boyfriends feet the lady left his feet wrapped in freezing towels for 15 minutes. Safe to say we were completely over it at this point. Walked out paying $140 which didn't add up with what we got. Be careful going here because they do charge for EVERY little thing. read more

It took an hour and 45 minutes to get my nails done for just a simple manicure. When the manager filled out my sheet he checked 2 boxes instead of one so I got overcharged $20. When I brought up the mistake he told me that I was wrong and insisted I payed the $20. I told him I will not be coming back and he told me my business does not matter to him. Very poor service. My friend and I came in for pedicures today. We picked the tropical pedicure which is $46 dollars. And I have to say that I have never ever have had such bad experience. My toe nails were cut wrong, the pedicure were done in the wrong order, someone else had to paint my nails and she didn't even finish the pedicure correctly. We express how poorly and bad I was treated and yet they charge us $142 dollars for 2 pedicures that were $46 dollars each! I will not be back there! It was awful. read more

We could write our names down and they would call us when ready. Although walk ins were welcome. We ran an errand and after two hours with no call we went home.
