One would think she could possibly look into things ahead of time. Got about three inches cut off the top, which I didn't ask for, to the tune of $70 total, including tip; not to mention I wasn't even informed there was a surcharge for paying with a credit card... no big deal but still should have been informed as I had cash. And if you want to have a conversation with someone childlike -- "I tot I taw a puttytat" -- be sure to see her. Holy cow, I felt like I was on another planet. Definitely will not be returning... oh, even with the apologies for a half-hour delay due to a man's short haircut... they couldn't have called me ahead of time? And God forbid they ever answer the phone, period; called up there two days, numerous times, before ever getting a response to begin with. What an embarrassing establishment overall.

However, there is one ongoing issue that really affects the comfort of the visit: the washing bowls. They are extremely uncomfortable, and during shampooing my head ends up in a position that causes significant strain on the neck, head, and lower back. Unfortunately, this isn't just my experience--I've heard other clients mention the same discomfort, and I've noticed people regularly getting up afterward commenting that they're in pain. It feels like an issue that could be improved fairly easily, but it does impact what is otherwise a very good salon experience. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because improving the comfort of the wash station would make a big difference for clients who otherwise really enjoy coming here.

I recent had 1/4 section of my hair dyed and I've received so many compliments on the color and the style it's so pretty. I've been having my hair blowout since July and there's been no heat damage at all my hair reverts back to my normal texture once wet and I'm so happy because I've had to literally cut so much hair previously due to over heating. The lady, who I presume to be the owner, said I would be charged a 3 percent processing fee for using a credit card. She pointed to post-it note signage on the desk that was dated for January 1st, but I hadn't been there since last October, so there's no way I could have known. I politely vocalized my disappointment about this twice, said I wish I had been made aware since I would have brought cash, and she went on to gently say it was only 5 dollars. It seems unfair to not notify customers about this policy before the appointment- they send a reminder text so it wouldn't be difficult. I am not sure if I will be returning on principle.

I was greeted at the front and was taken back at my scheduled time. I appreciated that Jess took her time to understand the look I wanted. The hair wash was wonderful and the hot towel was a nice extra touch. I also appreciated she asked me how I felt about hair spray (for me spray away!) as some guests do not like it. I am now on day 3 of my blow out and while some of the curls fell, the volume has held nicely and it doesn't look greasy yet. Ten friends also offers makeup services and most of the staff do both hair and makeup. Pricing is a little high, but at least the style has lasted for days making it worth the price. I would recommend their services if you have an event to attend. Friendly staff. Street parking is shared with other businesses so it can be a little cramped.

I like to keep my looks up to date and she has maintained a classic look for me that can be styled for day or black tie. So glad I found you . I have never gone to a stylist this long in my life. She knows what to do with hair, no matter if it is short, medium or long in length. I always look fantastic after seeing her. I have (rarely) ventured to see other stylists during this time and never have the same satisfaction about how my hair looks. She is really amazing, even my husband says so and I don't want anybody else to ever cut and highlight my hair (for real). This location within a salon suite is chic, cozy and comfortable and is a much more relaxed environment than a big salon. Come see her and you won't regret it!
