The women who run this salon are all so sweet, and they really love their work. The salon is decorated so cute, and when I say it's clean, I mean it's clean. They use disposable tools where possible, and the rest are sanitized. The pedicure tubs don't have jets which I love. They take their time to do your nails properly and to protect the health of your nails. The best thing about this salon is the heel it pedicure. They list it on the website like it's just another service. But this is seriously the best pedicure I have ever had. I have developed mom feet, and my heels are horrible. No matter how many pedicures I get, my feet never actually feel soft anymore. As in, even if I do a chemical foot peel, everything peels except my heel. It's terrible. These women made my feet look and feel almost as good as they did before I developed mom feet. My socks aren't clinging to my heels like Velcro anymore; it's like a miracle. I don't know why I ever tried going to different salons. Broken Bail *is* a bit pricey, but it is worth every penny. Last place I went to rapidly painted my nails (part of them, really, it wasn't thorough) and didn't file the nail or exfoliate. I went today for a spa pedi and French mani. Araceli was amazing. She worked quickly but didn't make me feel like I was one client on an assembly line. It was very relaxing. Also, the salon is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Amazing work and customer service! so happy with how my acrylic gel nails turned out!! 5 days after my appointment, one nail was ripped off (I was moving furniture). I found this spot based on Yelp reviews and I I'm so glad that I did! I just moved here from out of state and was worried about trying to find someone to do shellac manicures and other services. I called ahead and they were able to book me the very next day and accommodate around my busy work schedule. I had a toe polish change and a manicure, both by Eve. She was so sweet and we bonded over our love of travel and food. She did an excellent job and her nail art was fantastic. I haven't done nail art in years but her work convinced me to try something fun for Valentine's Day. The place was incredibly clean and the manicure was so relaxing. The owner, Patti, is such a nice person. The techs are great too! I have had 3 different techs and have liked them all equally. All did great work, take their time to give you the best service. I have to say, I was very disappointed with my service. Everyone was really nice. However my eyebrows don't appear even. Then I got a pedicure. The pedicure actually looks beautiful. So the end result was really nice. However, I chose the $58 pedicure because I wanted relaxation. There was less than a four minute massage with that pedicure. So this is my 3rd time visiting Broken nail. The first time was a mini massage and facial. The second time was a Mother's Day Spa package and the 3rd was a full body massage and facial. Vanassa did my facials all 3 times- she is ahmazing!!! She is very attentive, listens to my skin care concerns then gives the right treatment. My skin never looked this good! And the eyebrows...she shapes them just like I like them every time. Every time! Next time I see her I'm getting lashes, I hear that's a specialty of hers! Now, my massage - Tomas had magic fingers! I tried this place last week and I absolutely loved it!! It's super cute in there, not like your typical salon. I do recommend making an appointment before you come in though. I went in for an acrylic fill in & Beth did an amazing job on my nails. She shaped them to naturally fit my nail beds. She also did some super cool alien nail art. You can tell that these ladies really love what they do and are willing to put the time and effort in to create something beautiful that their client is happy with. I went in with a Pinterest design but wanted to make a few changes. Beth worked with me to design the perfect nails! I ended up happier with that design than I would've with the original. This was my first time visiting this nail salon. It has great reviews so I wanted to check it out. It was their third anniversary so the salon had snacks, drinks and raffles. I had a very delicious mimosa. I had a pedicure and a no chip manicure. The woman who helped me was quite but nice. BUT....it was $90 not including the tip. They only guarantee the manicure for 5 days, if you already had no chip they charge $12 to remove it (if it was done somewhere else) and if your nails chipped after 5 days they would repair it for $2.00 a nail. I don't know about anyone else but I felt I was being nickeled and dimed to death! I won't be going back. read more

Tomas was AWEFUL!!! the worst massage ever! I laid on the table 35 minutes while he was rubbing my back softly I had to ask him is this your deep tissue massage? He then replies and says I thought you said you did not like deep tissue! Sir I never told you that at all I was telling you where to focus. he was not welcoming at all, I do believe he did not like doing my massage because I am an African-American man. When planning a mommy/daughter day, my mom said she wanted a manicure with no-chip shellac. I did my research and found Broken Nail. After perusing their website, I found that they offer more than just one type of manicure. This alone excited me. I booked their almond mask manicure for me and a no-chip shellac manicure for my mom through their website. The website booking is easy and convenient. You complete a form and the boutique emails you within two hours with the nearest opening based on your request. The day before the appointment, they even call to confirm your appointment time. After you check in, they point you to the polishes so you can choose a color as is typical of any nail appointment. What was not typical was when they brought out the nail instruments. The tools were packaged in a sterile pack like tools you would see at the dentist's office. I have never seen a facility use such sanitary precautions on each and every instrument that touches a client. The manicure itself was far more pampering than anything I have ever had. They used an exfoliant on my hands followed by a mask. For the mask, they wrapped my hands in hot towels to set it. This was followed by lotion and a lovely hand massage. All in all, there is nothing about Broken Nail Boutique that would keep me from coming back time and time again. The prices are reasonable and the space is absolutely lovely. read more

I'm really and truly torn on how to rate this place. I came here for a "quickie" pedi and shellac mani (the most basic option). Both of those together took a little over 2 hours to complete. I'm all for some relaxation and pampering, but I was antsy as heck by the time I was done! It just seemed to take too long, especially since my nail specialist kept getting up and telling me she'd be right back, and then leave me sitting for anywhere from 3-10 minutes at a time. My nail specialist was sweet as can be. She really wanted to make my experience enjoyable, so I appreciated that. My concern/slight frustration comes from when I booked my appointment. You can book online and add any additional notes. In my notes I wrote that I wanted a nail design. They gave me a nail specialist who had no experience with designs. Everyone needs to learn, I get it, but we had to redo the design a few times before it worked out. It would've been more enjoyable to have someone with a little more experience. Overall all, my nails look very good. Their cleanliness standards are one for the books- I've never seen such diligence in being clean, using new pieces for each person, and having medical grade sterilization techniques for the tools that aren't disposable. That was amazing! At one point, while getting my feet pumiced, she dropped the tool on the ground. She immediately pulled the pumice piece off, threw it out, and wiped down the whole tool. She put a new piece on and kept going after that. It was super impressive!! I would return again. They have a lot of amazing sounding treatments that I'd be interested in. read more

I started looking on here and came across this place and since all the reviews were so positive I had to give it a try. First off, this place is so clean! Important since I was getting a pedi and have seen questionable things at other places in the past. All tools are taken out of a sterile bag and I watched them clean with bleach! They are so friendly- first thing they asked is if I wanted a drink. They are so precise and really make you feel welcomed and pampered! I work with children so I'm constantly washing my hands and use bleach water to sanitize and my no chip has lasted every single time!
