    Best cappuccino I have ever had. Ambiance was great. My breakfast was amazing and the serving staff was friendly and helpful

    Breakfast: Recommend If you're staying at the nearby Marriott, this is the closest place to get some French breakfast which Consist of a croissant, baguette w/ butter & jelly, eggs, green salad, coffee or hot choc and orange juice for about $12. Lunch and Dinner: Keep looking... wasn't impressed with any of the 6 different dinner options we ordered. LP: Ate here on 6/20-22/2019 for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

    A-OK is just the way to describe it. It's probably because I didn't order enough, but there was nothing extremely stand-out worthy. Wasn't bad though, I'd say that their food looked solid and the service was good I ordered an Americano and the bread with butter and jam. Was served a portion of a sliced baguette (alongside the other bread pieces my friends ordered) that was buttered perfectly and accompanied with a sweet jam. Both were satisfactory.

    Wonderful place for lunch. Nice environment. I really enjoyed the food. Very popular and busy at lunch which is a good sign in fact. Coming bit early (I came shortly after 12) is a good idea.

    OMG!! What a fabulous experience!! The wait staff were patient, courteous and thorough. The food was DELICIOUS. I had a sim9le vegetable soup that was nothing near simple. It was hearty, velvety and creamy with yummy crusty French bread. My dtr tried something out of her comfort zone ,for a teen, she had the duck confit. The duck was crispy and juicy, the potatoes and cheese was exquisite. They had excellent fresh squeezed OJ. The cappuccino was artwork and she had an early grey tea which was flowery yet her fave black tea. The tableware is elegant and minimalist but highly functional and pleasing to the eye. I highly recommend to everyone. Hope this helps if you undecided you won't regret it.

    We had the chees burger, snails, veil, thai sallad and linguine all'arrabiata! Very soft and nicely flavoured dishes!

    Very crowded but in the end very cosy! Recommended to go to! In the 14th quarter of Paris a local restaurant. Not many touristst. The first serve might take a while but once being served its a flow.

    Perfect service! Every dish was excellent and prepared perfectly. Pisco sour done correctly food cam out quickly for our large group

    Nice little cafe with pretty good food and drinks. Food menu is a bit limited and pricey but for the most part pretty good.

However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

My friend's duck breast was pretty tough; I had noticed the table next to us also ordered it and they seemed to have trouble finishing/cutting theirs as well. As for my steak with foie gras, well the steak was once again tough and the foie gras was weirdly stringy. It was soft for the most part but there were parts that were tough and stringy. Maybe that's a section that's generally separated in the preparation process and it was missed? In any case it was disappointing. What wasn't disappointing was dessert though; perfectly sweet and balanced.

You can also get it with salmon. My brothers and I only saw my mother use our gas range to light her cigarettes, sanitize needles to remove our splinters, and make s'mores during the summer months when she couldn't muster the energy to take us 'outside camping.' I mean, all she had to do was borrow a cookbook, which I'm sure were readily available from maybe a neighbor or in any local bookstore or the public library. How hard is that? I was the only kid who brought a can of tuna and his own monogrammed can opener to school every day. Every day. And mom convinced me that the tuna holster she got me for my birthday was cool and hip. I was a naive mercury-filled fool, although I did become a very fast runner in junior high school because of the tuna holster. The interior décor of Bistro des Augustins is informal and vintage bistro style - wooden tables, traditional chalkboard menus, and soft lighting - creating a relaxed and comfy ambiance. The scallops were delicate, the spelt added this earthy texture that made the dish feel substantial without ever becoming heavy. And then there's the mousse au chocolat. The famous one. Served from an oversized bowl with this almost excessive "all you can eat" energy that somehow still feels elegant instead of gimmicky. We only needed a few bites. Soft, luxurious, lightly bitter chocolate balanced perfectly against just enough sweetness. The kind of dessert that doesn't ask for attention. It quietly earns it.
