First time coming here and been wanting to try their rainbow popcorn since it had been a long time that I've eaten any. I was greeted by a nice lady, on the quiet side. The rainbow popcorn is already pre-bagged and comes in 3 sizes - small, medium, and large. I opted for medium for $5.69. I thought the price was fair and reasonable. Had some when I got home and it was just as how I remembered - ono! It was a little more on the sweet side than I had expected, but good. They also sell popcorn lei and cotton candy as well as different flavors to add to your popcorn. There's something for everyone. read more

I LOVE popcorn. I've always passed by and resisted the urge to buy a bag since I thought I could just make it at home. Eventually, I gave in and now it's my favorite treat! They're a small kiosk inside Pearlridge, right next to TJ Maxx. There's usually a few minute wait since the popcorn is made fresh to order and there's only one employee, but it's definitely worth the wait! So far I've only tried the volcano, which is a hurricane mix with kakimochi and furikake. The popcorn is always crisp and evenly buttered with the perfect kakimochi ratio. They have 3 size options - you'll want to get the large because they're so good you could finish half the bag in one sitting. I had a friend try some of my popcorn a few days later and was surprised with how fresh it still tasted! In his words he said it was "to die for" lol. read more

I always grab a bag of this popcorn when I go to the mall. I've even stopped by before heading to the airport to get a bag to snack on the plane. The popcorn is made fresh constantly, as orders are nonstop. Most times there's a line, but I happily wait for my turn. My favorites are the kimchi and mexican. Although I've had all of them, I like to get the ones I can't make myself. And if the pre-made flavors dont have mochi crunch, you can add for a fee. I think the puffy mochi crunch is a secret menu item. I heard a guy asking for it so I tried it, good but I like the regular one. I did ask the guy when they'd be opening one in Waikiki, he said soon...not sure how soon, but I'll be happy to get some when we stay there. read more

Iniki yhe only popcorn serving in the Pearlridge SC Mall at the Wai Makai or downtown (theatres) has wonders of flavors no other shops have! One will not know until going to the counter hidden are his favorable crack seeds that are not like the package ones sold at most stores! I believe he is the only owner that sells not the usual crack seeds that I grew up with. They are very unique and love the taste of each crack seeds I have tried. He has another store in Kalihi on Dillihngham same lot as Zippy's. His volcano popcorn is my favorite...furikake, mochi crunch and butter! If one has any social events sells it by the pound! This is by far the best kakimochi, furikake, popcorn mix on the island. I will only buy it if I see the owner guy doing the popping and mixing. He blends the perfect balance of salt, flavoring, butter, popcorn, kakimochi and furikake. Soooo good. The Pearlridge location and windward mall locations are definitely a place I frequent to get my fix. It's so good. You wish you could actually take this particular mix when going to watch a movie. Out of the three sizes I choose large all the time. You cannot stop at one chomping bite. I have never tried other toppings such as lihingmui but I am sure it's all so very delicious. The kiosk is unassuming in the busy mall. You smell the products before seeing the kiosk. It's all grab and go which is fine as you are just going to do some serious snacking! read more

There are so many varieties of popcorn flavors! My go to is the volcano. I'm not a fan of kaki mochi except in popcorn! Their popcorn is different, it seems lighter- I like it. The service is pretty quick and I appreciate the fact that the popcorn is crash, but sitting in the case for hours. It's a kiosk near an entrance, donut is easy to access. There are actually kiosks at each shopping mall locations. Uptown and Downtown. read more

I love Hurricane popcorn. It's popcorn with butter, furikaki and mochi crunch. This place calls it the Volcano. They have a stall in uptown and downtown Pearlridge. They recently opened a store on Dillingham. That's my favorite location as they sell drinks also. The popcorn here is always good. They use quality kernels, so the popcorn always come out big. The mochi crunch is always crunchy and never stale. If you like popcorn you should give this place a try. read more

Where have you been all my life!? First of all not sure how you're supposed to pronounce L1...is it a square lol! Well whatever it is it's some yummy popcorn here! A very simple kiosk right smack in the middle near the food court escalators it instantly captures my attention but I was looking for another shop which sadly was no longer there, sigh so in despair...mmmm snacks! With nine kinds of seasonings they do have quite a few to choose from but they had me at sour cream and onion sprinkled all over which is what she did first then came the ladle of butter wish a good shake to then finish off with Furikake...and this is "Iniki"! What I did notice is the popcorn is beautifully round and puffy like a mushroom popped so light and crispy it did hit the salty cravings spot for sure. They do of course have the local classic of butter, furikake and Mochi crunch which they call "Volcano" and a bunch of cheesy and Li Hing flavors as well. This has become my treat every time I have a pop up/craft fair event at Pearlridge! They have a kiosk conveniently located on both sides of the mall, Mauka (Macy's side) and Wai Makai (downtown/theaters side). The workers are always do friendly and helpful. You order which flavor and size you want and then you can watch them make your popcorn. So far I've tried the cheesy bacon, avalanche, and volcano. Free popcorn at Pearlridge Mall! In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Pearlridge, L1 Iniki Popcorn was giving away free bags of popcorn! My friends and I were going to lunch on the Admission Day holiday anyway and I was the driver. I figured that Pearlridge was on the way to our lunch destination, so, why not stop by? I told them that if they didn't want the popcorn, they can give it to me! Haha! We found lots of free parking since the mall opens at 10am. We asked another customer where the Wai Makai wing was. It's on the theater side - with Longs on the lower level. Donna knew to park on the second floor of the parking garage, catch the elevator down, and the entrance is there... By Hallmark and Tony Moly. Wow... This Mall is challenging! We ended up being the sixth customers in line. The lady at the kiosk was very efficient and friendly. I got a small bag of Rainbow popcorn besides getting the little free bag. I like popcorn in general, so, it's a fun snack for me! Their popcorn or kernels aren't like the one you get from the supermarket and pop it in the microwave. It's also better than the movie popcorn. I came all the way to pearlridge to meet up with someone and found an open charger down by Longs, so I decided to park my car for an hour and wander around pearlridge. I honestly haven't been here in like 11 years. This mall is nice! It wasn't crowded at all, I could charge my car without being harassed like at kahala mall, and I found a place that rivals carousel candy land in kahala mall. The lady working the little kiosk was really friendly. She pops the popcorn right when you order, so you know it's super fresh. I got the volcano flavor: Michu crunch, furikake and butter. The medium size is $7! Steep, but I say it's worth it. Especially because I wasn't really feeling any of the food places. Who wants pandas when you can get popcorn!!!? Lol. Iniki Popcorn is the best popcorn specialty store in the State. I have tried several confectionery stores which cannot even compete. I would drive to Kaneohe from Honolulu just for a fix of their tsunami blend popcorn. The popcorn they use is a bit larger than theater popcorn and it holds the butter and other ingredients very well without getting soft and soggy. Their prices are very reasonable and I just found out that they have two other locations besides Windward Mall. They also have outlets in Kalihi and Pearlridge. I went to the ground floor where their kiosk was; near Longs Drugs; to find they were gone. I felt my heart drop and shatter to a million pieces. Luckily, I took the escalator up to see they have relocated to a nice looking kiosk on the 1st floor!!! Changes and updates: - New location!!! So spiffy!! It is right next to cookie corner! - They now accept credit cards for payments!!! Whoo hoo! Everything else is pretty much the same! I still say the VOLCANO flavored popcorn is the BEST! Usually I come here to get my popcorn fix. Now I notice I come here to get popcorn to give as a gift to mainland friends. Gone are the days of coffee and macadamia nuts.
