Since November 2025 he patiently answered all my questions and followed up regularly. He submitted our Collier County permit the same day I signed and sent the permit number to me immediately. The crew (all direct employees, no subcontractors) is outstanding. They're skilled, efficient, respectful, and keeping the entire jobsite very organized and well protected. Every area -- driveway, lawn, landscaping, and pool -- is carefully covered. There are photos showing the start of our roof replacement to the completed finish as well as the crew actively working and installing the new metal panels. His workers found that our roof had some loose and cracked tiles, and they repaired them for free. No charge for the estimate or the work. We were shocked and relieved since another vendor quoted us over $600 for fixing the tiles, and then another $4400 for additional work he said we needed. A total of over $5,000. David said we didn't need the extra work the other vendor suggested and had his men check to make sure. We highly recommend DC roofing for his integrity and customer service. All our friends and neighbors who recommended him had told us he was a fair and honest guy. We learned from our experience that he lives up to this reputation. I highly recommend this company for anyone in need of a reliable quality roofing company! Description of work: The shingles and flashing around my chimney were curling up after hurricane Ian. While I did not see any leaks in the roof, I knew it was only a matter of time. When the roofers came out, they discovered that some of the plywood underlayment had rotted and they cleaned everything out, replaced the plywood, the damaged shingles and the flashing around the chimney. It looks as good as new and they left the property completely neat and clean.

Unfortunately, the project dragged on far beyond what was promised. We finally moved back into our home after 6 months, even though construction was still incomplete, and we ended up living through the remainder of the work. Sadly, this remodel ended up involving an attorney, and we ultimately had to hire another company to fix mistakes and complete unfinished work. * Whole-wall entertainment center was installed 4" off-center relative to the wall and tray ceiling * Dining room accent art/light was installed 2" off-center from the cabinetry * Ceiling paint began peeling after only 4 months * Decorative ceiling beams in the kitchen began falling apart, and the center beam wasn't even centered over the island. They had to be replaced and repositioned after a lengthy battle with the owner, Greg * The island pendants didn't work with the beams and had to be reordered. We were charged $850 for freight for replacement lights * Now we experience electrical issues such as kitchen lights flickering when hot water is used in the sink, dishwasher, and washer, which is extremely concerning. * Kitchen and utility cabinet doors were designed/installed so they bang into the refrigerator and wall * The kitchen sink didn't fit properly, we were charged to replace it ($210) * Rollout shelves didn't function because they failed to account for the garbage disposal, we were charged ($400) * Oven/microwave cabinet was designed incorrectly. They had to cut the cabinetry apart just to make the appliances fit * Dog water bowl faucet was installed sticking out past the bowl -- we were forced to replace it with a hinged faucet ($850) * Communication was nonexistent throughout the project Bottom line: for a project of this size and cost, we expected quality workmanship, professional project management, and basic attention to detail, and that is not what we received. This remodel was costly, stressful, and far beyond the promised timeframe, and we would not recommend this builder.

We were informed our roof suffered damage. The roof vents were torn off and the high winds and rain sent water throughout several areas of our ceilings and walls. We had only just finished renovating and decorating our place two months prior to the storm. Without knowing what to do and the shock wearing off by Tuesday morning I went online retrieving the Bella Terra Newsletter where I found Toploff Painting advertised. I called the number listed and spoke to the owner Jack Toploff. I can't tell you how Jack went out of his way to meet our friend on Tuesday who had the key to our condo and took time to inspect the damage. We were expecting the place to be destroyed. Jack informed us the damage was manageable. We set a date to arrive within a week. Even before we arrived Jack along with his son Mike and expert craftsman Rob began the repairs. We had never met Jack nor ever spoke previously and he along with his crew went to work with just our word and bond we had for him to help us and our guarantee to cover his costs. Once we arrived we saw the beginnings of what we felt would be 100% restored to the condo's original condition. The expertise of Mike and Rob was amazing, specifically matching the texture that had to be removed to repair the sheetrock. They treated the sheetrock with mildewside spray and seal it with stain blocker. Mike and Rob were able to pick up the exact paint we previously used to match perfectly. The time and patience of Mike and Rob and detail for perfection with their work along with Jack's desire to help his fellowman is why I have written this review, and my first ever, for others to know you can trust 100% Toploff Painting.
